But even then , she never interested in becoming an idol eventhough her older brother is one. One day , she and her friends went out to Hongdae . Her friends forced her to participate in a street dance competition. She did and won first place. And SM scout was there and she saw big potential in Yueji so she followed her. Then , Yueji's friends forced her to participate in another competition. which is a rap competition. She did and won first place yet again. The SM scout who saw this were mesmerized by her talent and immediately asked her to become a trainee.
