JUNG YOOJIN
|
hold your breath and listen to me.
TRAITS : Independent, mischievous, whimsical, opinionated PERSONALITY : In a word, Yoojin is a wild card. The life of the party. The one to bring out the fun in serious situations. Although it gets annoying, people adore her to bits. Firstly, she's independent. She could stand on her own. She insists to. Even when doing a job she never did before, she'd ask the basics, and proceed to finish the job no matter what it takes, refusing any helping hand. She's also hard to control. People usually leave her to do her things. She does not go by the rules she doesn't find right. She'll do things like bringing her own mini stove to the office, and cooks up her own dinner on the stairs of the building when she's hungry. She sings trot songs while typing out a report and dances around the room while waiting for the toilet. She has her own way of finishing a task so other people wont bother.
She's whimsical, do things in a whim and unpredictable ways. Because she refuse to receive help, she'd always find a way to finish early. Multitasking is her forte. There are times where she would type with her feet because she was using her hands to eat. She also look at things the way other people doesnt. She also does things the way other people wouldn't even think of doing. This is what made her special. In meetings where they ask the stories these junior reporters had found, everyone is serious, and she is too. But the stories she came up with would always make people speechless, and would lose their seriousness for just a second. It had been to a point where people expect her to come up with an interesting story, and when she finally did, they'll say "There it is!" and laugh. In serious situations, she is serious too, but she'd still make it fun, and comfortable for these junior reporters. It's fine for her to get scolded, as long as the other junior reporters are comfortable giving out their stories because noone will have a story that is as bad as hers. Her stories are true stories, but its weird. For example; 'Man trains his Great Dane to drive a car', or 'Housewife left Husband for a 20 year old delivery boy'. She's a generally mishievous person. She grins her way out of difficult shifts, argues about employee rights with her Captain, and pranks people she find hateful. She grew up in a village where everyone is friendly, so when she came to Seoul, she is friendly with everyone. She knows everyone in the building, along with their wives/husbands, kids etc. She is an official member of the gossip troupe of the janitor ladies, and would be seen playing card in the letter room with the employees. The mother of other employees would make her lunch sometimes. She's friendly because she's really lonely. Despite her friendliness, she doesn't really have any real close friends at work. She is mostly alone, so she'd find things to do to not be alone, so she made sure she fits in to every group, so she could pop in any time.
Despite her childishness, she is indeed an adult. She knows when to be serious, like when investigating stories that would affect a person when its published. She is very sensitive about how her stories is written and presented. How people would view her story. How people would put blame on the right villian in the story, and not someone else entirely. Although open-minded, she's very opinionated. She holds onto the things she finds right and refuse everything else. She's stubborn, in way. Persistent. She hates debates because she'd get too riled up and would end in tears if she loses. You'd usually find her laughing, and rarely seen sad or gloomy, much less crying. She hides her feelings really well, always keeping it in. She ignores everything that'll put her in a bad mood. If her sadness or anger get overwhelmingly strong, she'd get a panic attack; she couldn't breathe and everything goes blurry. Since almost nobody knows how to handle this side of her, she prefers it hidden. She hides her sadness by being more mischievous and hyper, and would calm herself down with a warm cup of coffee.

MARK TUAN
|
it's the sound of my heart that grows.
NAME : Mark Tuan (GOT7) BACKUP : Kim Myungsoo (INFINITE) ROLE : He works in the forensics section and is an expert at connecting situations related to the materials in the crime scene. He often works in the lab, but is sent to investigate and collect trace materials without being suspicious. He is incredibly diligent at his job, and it became a habit so you can see him delicately holding things at the tip of his fingers as if its poisonous. His work also made him a neat-freak. Since forensic scientists usually dont get enough sleep, he made use of his office hours dozing off.
TRAITS : Calm, Decisive, Compassionate, Argumetative PERSONALITY : Mark is usually a calm person, with the slow smiles and warm eyes. He's calm during serious situations, but get panicky over small things like getting ketchup on his white pants, and not getting his pizza before the 30 minutes mark. People would trust him to be mature, but when he gets childish, he's unbearable to be with. He's bad at reading the atmosphere and often does things contradictory to everyone around him. Despite all that, people trust him. He's the type of person that people go to to make difficult decisions and is able to make a firm choice for himself and others. He's also very compassionate about the things he considers important to him; his job, his friends, and Marvel movies. He gets extremely riled up when talking about the things he love, like the process of surface oxidation of silicone nitrite, or Aspirin contamination. He plays well by himself. He's also argumentative. He loves to argue. He likes having to compare his opinion to others. He manipulates other people's argument to get what he wants. People mostly avoid debating with him because he's impossible to deal with.
RELATIONSHIP : Their relationship is a little weird. They are two complete opposites; Yoojin is a wild, fierce force, while Mark is calm and collected, but has his own immaturities. They fight over petty things like Yoojin stealing all of Mark's blue paperclips because Mark wouldn't give her his red paperclips eventhough he only uses blue ones, and who gets the last pack of sour skittles. But they also do stuff like sharing ramen during night shifts, and Yoojin would help out with the pranks Mark pull on Youngjae, and laugh together over things like the Director's bald head that he tries to hide under a badly made wig. But then if Yoojin gets a panic attack, Mark is the one to calm her down, the shoulder to cry on, the one she shares her problems with, the one she opens up to. Yoojin takes out the kid in Mark, and Mark calms Yoojin down.
HOW THEY MET : One of the first task given to a junior reporter is to hang around the police department digging for information, for a story to be published in the newspaper. Yoojin was sent to Seoul Metropolitan Police Department alongside a few colleagues. Since she is unpredictable, instead of digging for information from the police officers, she would go by the Forensic Crime Unit and ask tons of questions to the scientists there. Tired of hearing her questions, the Forensics team appointed Mark to make her give up, since he has an ability to argue with people and rile them up enough to drive them away. Mark did. He would return Yoojin's question with another question, thus a neverending verbal tennis began. Considering Yoojin is not the type of person to give up, she held on for a long time. She vowed to get back at Mark one day. Their relationship started from there; Yoojin forgetting to eat because she was too busy finding stories and Mark offering food, Yoojin going to Mark's department for the occasional digging but when she saw Mark looking tired, instead of asking questions, she pulled him into reporter lounge and told him to sleep. Their unlikely friendship began then, veiled by a still withstanding verbal tennis match. But the verbal tennis match ended rather abruptly because after her captain found out about her fighting rather than digging for information, Yoojin was sent to a different police department. A smaller one that does not have a forensic unit. That was the last time Mark and Yoojin saw each other. When Mark was sent to join this case, he was suprised to see Yoojin. They kinda continued where it left off.
ENDING : They realized their feelings for each other and confesses, and maybe a few sneaky kisses here and there. And spend their first date arguing over what to name their 15 children, and how many kids that could have Mark's gummy smile (Yoojin think its cute) and Mark insisting that mini-Yoojins is the reason he's alive, and fight over who gets to pay for the dates, or have competitions about who could sing the cheesiest love songs when they visit a noraebang.

your beauty is almost like a lie.
SCENE REQUESTS : I dont know why but I'd like a scene of them having a rolling chair race in the hallway in which the loser has to buy the crew dinner and the winner gets to take all the caramel candy in the office pantry. COMMENTS : spent most of my morning finishing this, so I hope you liked it :D You can change anything to fit in your story, I won't mind. But if there's anything wrong with my application, I'd like it if you would tell me so that I could improve my ways. I think I'd add a few more trivias as time goes by, but don't worry, i'll tell you beforehand.
