because of her secret tattoo, she almost never wear anything wide collared that could show even a single hint of cleavage. She's not really boyish, but she does prefer pants (mostly shorts, unless its cold) when on campus.

Mari is widely known for being excited about almost everything. She's enthusiastic about things that she doesn't even particularly enjoy, like sports. And she's over-the-roof excited about thing she does enjoy, like food. One might say that there's nothing she's not excited about. Eventhough being exciting is just a part of her, it's also the only way she could overcome her insecurities. Her excitement allows her to fit into many type of people. Her excitement is also quite contagious.Eventhough she is actually capable of being calm and mature, she rarely tones down her excitement.

 

Eventhough she has many insecurities, she also has enough courage to fight back, making her confident. She's usually afraid of consequences or risks, but the thought of not being able to achieve something never crossed her mind. She strongly believes that she could achieve anything as long as she put her heart into it. She never talks big if she thought she couldn't walk the talk. This part of her personality is what drives people away. She's very overwhelming in the sense of being capable and hard-working. A lot of people couldn't keep up. So she treasures those who stayed anyway.

 

There is no denying that she is intelligent. But she's not like, a genius. She works hard to achieve her level of intelligence. But her intelligence causes her to analyze things a little too much, going into details and all. She thinks in both pictures and numbers. She's observant and logical. There's often times where she's wrong about something, but still in the right track. This includes feelings. Eventhough her brother was the one studying psychology, she often read his textbooks, and used it to look into people's soul and stuff. But despite being aware of other people's feelings, she gives the worst advice. But she's quite the listener.

 

She's also known for her cunning personality. She's manipulative and a trickster. She doesn't beg for the things she want, but she plans a scheme on how to get it anyway. Her innocent face is a good cover for her sly ways of achieving something she was denied from. She's also very good at knowing your weakness, and use it against you. She's a tough one, you might say. You never know what she's planning. And plot twists are the way of life, for her. She's not good with words, but one hell of a mentality goddess.

She's born in Jeju Island to a korean father and a chinese mother. When she was 5-6 years old, her parents split up and she moved to Dongdaemun with her mother, who then married a man named Kim Hyun Shin a year later. The man had a son a few years older than her, Minseok (who then her mother nicknamed Xiumin). Minseok immediately took her under his wing. Minseok had a bestfriend, Lu Han, who is chinese. The three was and still is almost always together. But she had her own set of friends. She's a Honor Student from middle school to high school, so she's quite popular. 

 

Originally, she was expected to attend med school. Much to everyone's shock, she took Early Childhood Education eventhough her grades are enough to take her much higher. But people then realized that she does have a gift with children, so they left her alone.

 

the haunting

it was fully her fault. She was planning to pull a prank on her brother, Xiumin, as payback for all the times he pranked her, and sneaked into his room when he was away to search for some sort of stash. She went through everything and anything. She searched the bathroom, under the bed, between the sheets, on his desk, in the closet, when she saw a piece of paper on the very top of her brother's bookshelf. She didn't have much time to read it, as she heard Minseok arriving home, so she immediately took it and flee into her room.

 

Not long after Xiumin went into his room, a scream was heard. Then, her bedroom door banged open, with a very red-faced anxious looking Minseok in the doorway. Mari thought, oh. it IS .

Despite his face and his tendency to do aegyo, Luhan is indeed very mature and manly. He's a lot more of an older brother than people give him credit for. He cares a lot about people who matters to him. He's there when you want him to be, and will keep a distance if you wanted him away. He's selfless, in a way. But he's also quite selfish. He gets jealous. He's not like, overly posessive or anything. He just get jealous of little things. When he cares about you, he wants you to care back. He's sensitive. A drama queen, if you may. If you forgot to reply to his text due to homework or sleep, he'd do things like singing sad ballad to the rain, play kitaro on repeat, etc. But he's easily comforted, though. So its okay.

 

relationship 

they're impromtu childhood friends by association to Xiumin. They've been hanging out since forever and have been having feelings for each other since middle school. Xiumin ships these two more than he ships Jokwon/Gain, and to say that he supports these two is an understatement. But both of them refused to take it up a notch because they're afraid that it might affect Luhan and Xiumin's friendship, and also theirs. But that isn't an excuse for them not to give each other goo-goo eyes and red face. 

 

They started out as close as brothers and sisters, before they started having feelings. They're still as close, but sometimes they find themselves blushing when they do things they normally do before, like wrestling and hugging. But they still do it, eventhough it ends with both not being able to meet each other's eyes for ten minutes. They tease and joke around a lot, with or without Xiumin around. But they rarely went out with just the two of them, though. They text a lot, mostly random and silly stuff. They have hearfelt conversations.

 

Basically, they act like friends but is too fond of each other to be 'just friends'. They bond over 'looking not their age'.

- Jigglypuff. She goes around singing, doing what she loves eventhough its troublesome for others to hear. she just don't care, you know. what a life she's living. Thats a role model right there.
