being a workaholic has its good and bad sides. on one end she rarely loses focus and gets a lot done, while on the other hand it's all she does so it consumes her brain constantly. when she hasn't worked all day she feels utterly useless and anxious that time is getting away from her. on the surface yookyung is very serious. a no nonsense girl that barely smiles unless she's meeting with a client, and even then its not much. but underneath that she's a softie. she shows she cares in small gestures like getting your favorite drink or remembering things about you. a select few get to see that side of her. she cares for her family a lot but her goal overrides that sometimes.

yookyung never felt seen growing up. she was always trying to keep up and whatever she did wasn't good enough. it was hard to diffrentiate herself. her sister was already brilliant which didn't help. technically as the forgotten one she could've done anything and no one would've cared. but that was exactly the problem, she wanted to feel useful like she was actually worth something.
she followed in her sisters footsteps, top of her class, high achieving. yet when you didn't do it first its not as impressive. you'd think she'd give up already, why try to get the attention of someone that clearly doesn't care. but yookyung was stubborn enough not to. she stayed in the family, became a hardworking employee for her dads business just to prove that she's good enough to climb in ranks and become leader. not just another housewife.
