BACKGROUND

She was born in Colorado to her Korean father and American mother. She grew up to love nature, sports, and writing thanks to the interest of her parents. When she was 14 her mother passed away from a car accident. After her mothers passing she and her father moved back to Korea to be closer to her fathers family. She choose to go by her American name once she moved to Korea because honestly it was very sudden and she possibly may never get used to being called her Korean name at that time.

Entering the Korean school system was a big change and it didn't help that her father wasn't making the money he used to in the states. So when the class bad boy took a liking to her and introduced her to the world of the rich (16 year old at this point)...a party here, smoozing there, mixed with a few drinks and it's not too hard to catch a rich suitor that wants nothing more than to be her sugar daddy. Of course she thought it was too good to be true, especially concidering that her sugar daddy didn't know her true age, but he never forced himself on her. That never stopped her from falling for him. 

Fast forward a couple years (Spring before she turns 20) when she find out that her cousin Subin was the reason behind her sugar daddy that helped support her and her father. Her world fell apart. He would never feel the same towards her and she had successful let money blind her. 

Aubrey choose to make sure she'd never have to rely on a guy again. She pulled herself together. She was smart and used some of the money she had stashed away to pay for college after applying for late admission to all the colleges that she could find still accepting students. She had made some connections in the industry and had no trouble booking jobs as a model/influencer. The money would help her finance college until scholarships opened up for the next school year. She's trying to leave the party/sugar baby life behind. She dyed her hair from it's vibrant red and decided to live a low profile life.

She's blunt and unfiltered at times with her speech (When someone makes her unconfortable or if shes mad at someone or in the case that she's defending someone. She can be calm, cool, collected, sometimes even bubbly, quarky, and dorky, but because of her idependence  these traits are often hidden until people have proved that she can trust them and feel comfortable (untrusting). That being said she can be an calulated. She's going to pick her words carefully (when she's sober) making it harder for people to get closer to her (harder to tell if theirs any lack of truth in her words.)

Athletes need to stay together right... Suhyeon takes every chance she gets to try and convince Aubrey to join the volleyball team next season  instead of continuing soccer. If it wasn't for her, Aubrey woulnd't have known Hongjoong was even in her night class. Suhyeon and Wooyoung both peeped that Hongjoong and think they should give the push that HongJoong needs to confess seeing as Aubrey is oblivious to the boys feelings. Aside from that Suhyeon is always trying to drag Aubrey to a party and even dress a bit more y... we'll see what happens. Suhyeon realises that Aubrey isn't really social and with Suhyeon being a ball of energy and social, she's decided that she and Aubrey will befriends from their first shift together onwards. Suhyeon lives about 10 to 15 minute off campus with 2 other girls on the volley ball team (I smell a house party).

He met Suhyeon through Hongjoong when they partnered together for a project for their major class and they figured since they both lived in Chungsam Hall. Wooyoung and Suhyeon got along very well and by the break before their second semester they offically started dating.  Wooyoung really liked Aubrey from what he heard from Suhyeon, unfortunately they wouldn't be as close because unknown to him his apperance alone reminds Aubrey of Dong Hyuck. She will have to become comfortable around him, but that wont stop him from treating her like a true friends and when true friends see soulmates its only right that he help Suhyeon get them together.  Wooyoung is also in the night composition class that Aubrey and Hongjoong have. He was broken hearted at the thought of losing his wife and daughter in that car accident. Although he was happy that Aubrey survived, he was a bit bitter that it was his wife that died. His first love. His high school sweetheart was gone just like that. He wasted no time uprooting his and Aubreys life to Korea, away from the only life she ever knew. He knew it was rough, but she'd over come it. He had a decent pay but there were still bills from America that needed dealt with. He was happy when Aubrey told him that she got a job to help contribute, but what he never did was ask what her job was. She was smart. She never showed exactly what she was making to give the illusion that she was working a normal part time job. With her 'working nights' and him working days, their paths rarely crossed and he was too tired from working to notice any odd behavior or apperance. The year aubrey graduated high school was the year that things looked up. The debt was almost gone and he had fallen for a lovely lady (Chae Yeryun-his actual wife) his company had pursued to buy her resturant. Not soon after he decided to move to Busan to be with her and help run her resturant,giving Aubrey the choice to stay or leave with him. Obviously she said. A few months later he was married and last summer they welcomed a baby boy. Aubrey and her father don't really speak aside a few text here and there. Aubrey may not admitt it, but a big part of her hurt is the fact that he doesn't even know what she went through to support the both of them. She was out being an adult when what she really needed was a parent. (He will now have a step daughter as well)

UNIVERSITY LIFE

MAJOR  Journalism and Public Relations Major.  Composition Minor.
ROOM PREFERENCES So she filled out the dorming paperwork late and triples were all that were left. She was randomly assigned and was too busy during the summer to reachout to her roommates. She has no idea what her roommates will have in store for her. 

SCHEDULE She usually has midday classes but she surely ended up with 1 night class (Compostion minor class; only class she has with Hongjoong).  During the week she works mornings at Happy Bean Cafe before heading to her midday classes. She get's friday's off and has no classes so she tends to sleep in, or tries to however. There's no telling what her roommates will have planned that involes her waking up and tagging along or helping out. She's a member of the soccer team so practice fits in there somewhere (maybe before the night class so we can use Anthony to make Hongjoong jealous). She makes money by doing product reviews so sometimes on the weekend she'll  record and edit those unless its something that she'd show in a day in the life of or something like that. She plans to go out and explore on the weekends, you know when she hasn't been roped into working events at Happy Bean. 

DIRECTION  She's on the soccer team. Works at Happy Bean Cafe. Hopefully she lets her gaurd down and actually makes friends and enjoys college rather than using it as a distraction. She's going to the volleyball games. She's experiment to see who she is and what she really likes. She's still doing influencing on her social media (her roomates are going to enjoy a roommate that gets PR packages) .

Hi. Im Aubrey. Umm.. *crickets...moves hair to the other side* Im on the soccer team..so if you want a work out buddy im your gal. I grew up in Colorado and yeah if you like sweets check out the kitchenette sometimes *winks* * laughs at herself*  To herself thats so awkward

out of all the colleges in korea, why did you pick jeju university and why your major?

I needed to get out of Seoul so I applied to schools not there. Im glad I actually had the scores to get in. I love writing and i've developed a want to learn more about PR. 

where do you see yourself in 10 years?

That's loaded. I take things day by day. But i guess if I looked back i'd hope that i'd have my own firm and that i'm sucessful. I hope I love myself more...

what would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

When i'm good, i'm good. But when i'm bad, its bad. I shut down and the wall goes up. It's hard for people to break through. My care towards other people is strong. I put others before myself and that can be a double edged sword.

as a freshman you will reside in chungsam hall, what do you look for in a roommate? any lifestyle habits that you find intolerable?

Honestly, i'd hope they don't smoke, do drugs, drink, or bring back guys without asking. Please be respectful and let me know ahead of time.
