nickname(s) » Friends and family have called her Mandoo (만두; dumpling) from the dawn of time. She was actually named Doorim, because her nickname while in the belly was Mandoo. Growing up, she was a chubby kid so the nickname was used less lovingly and more as a pejorative by her peers, but Doorim has never once disliked the name. In fact, she absolutely loves it and prefers to be referred to as Mandoo rather than Doorim (though she loves her name, too!). It is her official nickname.

Colette is her English name, chosen by her preschool teacher. She has no use for it after graduating from her cram school, but after telling fans about it, they like to call her that. Maybe the members, as well. Her default username online was 2ps7eq9. It stood for "2 plus 7 equals 9" and it represents her birthday. Her online friends would call her 2p, Ippy 이피 as a short form. Her best friends that know her from her online days call her Ippy.

POSITION » Main dancer, sub vocalist

VOCAL » Doorim is good for harmonizing, but she struggles to sing by herself. Whether it be nerves or her voice just not being that good, she doesn't sound too great when she sings solo. Either too pitchy or not the right tone, it's hard for Doorim to get it right when she doesn't have someone else's vocals supporting or leading her. Her singing voice is average and because it blends in so well with other singers, it doesn't really stand out. Her starting range is mezzo-soprano, but she can comfortably sing higher or lower.

DANCE » House, jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, samba – you name it, Doorim probably knows a thing or two in the practice. As house and popping & locking are the only styles she's been able to learn from a teacher, they are what she's best at, but no one should doubt her ability to do any of the styles she learned by herself. Doorim lets the music speak to her body – if it calls for sharp and pronounced dancing, she'll do that; if it calls for fluid and subtle dancing, she'll do that; a mix of both? of course, she's been doing that since she first started dancing. She often adds her own spin to choreographed dances, making each performance of hers unique. She's more partial to free-style than choreography. 

RAP » Doorim is not incapable of rapping (at least, in a K-pop group), she just doesn't want to do it, even though (and because) she's a devout listener of rap.

sTRENGTHS » Performance and emotion. She lives and breathes the stage; she enjoys performing so much, and everyone that watches her in fancams and whatnot can tell. Even if she's exhausted to the bone, performing is her way of getting her energy back. It's exhilirating, no matter the emotion and mood she's protraying with her performance. She excels at conveying the feelings of a song, whether it has lyrics or not. She diligently studies the music and practices expressing the correct emotions in her performances by any means she feels is necessary – practicing in the mirror, reading or watching fiction and nonfiction media, watching interviews from the producers, lyricists, and/or performers for cover dances or asking the producers and lyricists themselves for the group's original songs what their intentions for the song were, and of course, simply listening to the music and going with the flow.

WEAKNESSES » Fanservice and variety. She kinda forgot these were a thing when she agreed to be an idol. She struggles when it comes to being affectionate + saying and doing all the cheesy things that come with being an idol. She's not a competitive person and doesn't necessarily care to win, she's a very vague person and doesn't care to elaborate on things, and she isn't really that expressive outside of performing. Fortunately for her, her "boring and ambiguous" personality has become her character (persona). For fanservice, it's seen as cute when she meticulously avoids saying things like "I love you". In variety settings, good comedians / comedic timing / editing / etc. can usually make her dryness seem interesting and funny. But it doesn't work every time – when it's awkward, it's painfully awkward. It's something she's (slowy, slowly) working on.

Although she figures it wouldn't actually be experimental music, as in the genre, and it is more of a concept term, she doesn't really care. She thinks she'd fit in any sub group, though she'd probably fit the best in Pop Girls Replay because of her aesthetics.
