hyerin is a very charming and a friendly person, she loves meeting people and interacting with them she is often the one who initiates the conversation and tends to break awakward silence, she is always interacting with other trainees and likes to welcome the new one, she has a knack for communication and is considered one of the social butterflies in her groups.

hyerin is a caring individual toward those she likes and animals, she tend to be very observant about people's actions thus she knows when one of her friends is not feeling well so she tries her best to show that she cares, you can tell that siwon cares about by her actions more than by her words she is the type of  person that will try to make you comfortable around her and makes you feel good about yourself.

growing up hyerin came from a musically talanted family, her mother who was a singer and her father who is a composer, song writer and who used to be a singer back in his days as you can see hyerin was always surrounded by music, she enjoyed singing along side her mother and learning music composition from her father, music is something that she and her family enjoyed it was something that they bonded over and got them closer together as a family.

as a kid her and her parents often visited korea during her summer hyerin in order to get closer with her relatives from her mother sides, years passed by and hyerin reached 13 years old where she and her family had to move to korea due to her father as he receieved an oppurtunaty from someone he met on his job to compose for idols under sm trainee that offers a good payment.

moving to korea hyerin during that time was not fluent at korean thus it was diffecult to communcate however with the help of her mother who taught her korean every day hyerin was able to learn itt quickly as she already knew  some vocabulary that was taught to her as a child.

hyerin interests in music grew more and more as she become a teen, she loved singing more than anything and otrn times enjoyed music composition she wanted to learn more, and get more involved with the music industery thus she decided to enter music competitions and whenever hyerin sees an ad aboput a music competition hyerin would join it, she loved the feeling of being onstage and performing in front of an audiance thus her decision to be a performer was created.

hyerin wanted to perform onstage more and more, she wanted to feel the stage again and get closer to music hwoever she coudlnt find any music competetions to join thus when she saw soemone performing on the streers in seoul she went and ask her mother about why does many people performs on street her mother explained that in some areas in korea many teenagers or adults do busking which means that they perform onstreet,

hyerin wanted to try it out because she enjoyed singing in front of people she begged her parents to buy her music sets in order to do busking in a popular Korean street thus she tried out on her first day and sang in the street when she first started singing some people would walk by and ignore her however others would listen to her voice and that was enough for her to feel satisfied.

hyerin kept doing busking during her weekends and more people would start to listen to her she felt happy and free it was as if victoria was in her own little world, during one of the days that hyerin was performing a scouter was passing by when he listened to her voice and immediately after she finished performing the scouter gave her his card and told her that he was from jyp entertainment and she should join as a trainee.

hyerin thought it was a scam obviously who would listen to strangers on street? knowing that her father worked under the company she went and asked him if this card was legit and her father smiled proudly at her and told her that yes it is legit, so the next day hyerin decided to give it a shot after all being an idol includes performing onstage.

trainee & idol life
she joined bighit entertainment in 2016 right after sixteen ended, her trainee life both in jyp and bighit was not an interesting experience whatsoever, all she did was practicing. she was usually found in the practice room practicing her singing and dancing skills. since she was always practicing and she had to go to school she didn't get the chance to make friends with the other trainee however she was able to befriend chan, but still being in a group with other girls made hyerin very happy.

as for her idol life, hyerin started to get popular after her teasor realeased due to her visuals however when she performed she showed her talents as well as her duality, she was able to meet and befriend many other idols such as blackpink's rose and red velvet's joy.
