appearance it is shocking to many that a guy like jaeseok exists because to them he has the visuals of pretty boy who came out of a manga or an anime. his skin is as soft as a baby, his hair is as smooth as the cat's fur, he has a mesmerizing big black eyes with double eyelids. jaeseok gets very insecure when someone mentions his height because he stands at 170 cm, and he hates his chubby cheeks he thinks that it makes him look "fat" but he really is not weighting only 59 kg.

soon minjoon and kim haneul got married and had a beautiful baby during the year of 1997 they named him jaeseok after his dead grandfather. after two years of having jaeseok hanuel found out about minjoon's affair with another women so she and minjoon had a huge fight but at the end she forgave him only because of jaeseok she didn't want her child to have an unhappy childhood. at ten years old jaeseok's parents would argue often after his mother caught him chaeting on her with the same women again, while they were yelling and fighting with each other jaeseok would hide in his room under the blanket scared and wanting all of this to be over. his parents couldn't handle each other so they decided to divorce, and his mother took custody over jaeseok.

reaching up to age twelve without seeing his dad was hard for jaeseok he couldn't even mention his father infront of his mother because she will get devestated so he stopped asking about him, luckily for him his mother met a new men and they both fell in love with each other so they got married.
at seventeen years old jaeseok auditioned to a musical play in his school and got the main role because the judge fell in love with his voice, when he stood onstage infront of the crowd and started to sing at that moment he knew that he wanted to be a singer he loved performing and wanted to do it again due to that reason he started to enter singing competetions he also wanted to make his own music so he began to practice composing songs in his laptop and would take music composition coures.
during one of his competetions a jyp casting manager was watching the show when the competetion ended the casting manager went up to him and scouted him to be a jyp trainee.
jaeseok was so happy he went to his house, asked for his mother's permission who fully supported him at the same day he went to a private audition in jyp and got accepted.
