yoon jiyeon was born into a rich family, her parents were well off as her father a ceo and her mother a lawyer. even her older brother is a doctor so as you could see her parents had high expectations on her.

often pressured to get high grades, jiyeon was stressed she always ranked high in school and because of that she was able to skip a grade. while she was popular at her school due to her exoverteness and visuals she only tursted few, because she never knows who is using her for her money and who is being genuine with her. 

jiyeon's main escape was music, she enjoyed listening to music espicially hip hop and rap because she felt that it felt real and free and so jiyeon wanted to try to learn it she started to write her own rap lyrics they were not good by all means but she enjoyed doing so and days and days she would write and practice her flow, it was her escapism from the real world she felt that she could express her self in ways that people would understand.

one day when she was visiting seoul to see her brother her cousin told her that he is going to audition for pledis, jiyeon encouraged him and went with him during the auditions she was scouted to become a trainee due to her visuals, and since then jiyeon started to train under pledis in order to debut, while her parents were always against her decisions they thought it was a phase that she will get over soon so they didnt support her but she had her brother by her side who supported her and sends her money but jiyeon wants to prove to her family that it is not a phase and she genuinly want to debut and perform onstage.

jiyeon started training as an idol only when she was sixteen years old, it was 2013 when she first entered pledis by the recommendation of jeonghan after she told him that she wants to be an idol he recommended to audition onto pledis and so she did and get accpted as an offical trainee through their 2013 auditions.
trainging was diificult for jiyeon, while she struggled with singing she practiced evey day to improve her vocals, however dancing on the other hand is not the same case. for dancing while it was hard she learned it easier than singer but rapping was her main forte often acing any rapping evaluation with her witty lyrics and flow.

an artical that came out after she debuted by a fellow trainee in pledis who exposed for her appearant fake personality, the trainee said that jiyeon was very rude to her while it was true to some extent jiyeon came out with a statement that covered the full story. in jiyeon words the trainee was always acting in a passive agreesive way towards her throwing words and talking behind her back so jiyeon took on her stance and defended herself.

HISTORY 
seungchal was a senior in the school that she went to in daegue yet they attended the same class because jiyeon was able to skip a grade when she was younger, she remebers meeting him like a memorized memory because that was when jiyeon first fell in love.
it was a rainy day, jiyeon was waiting outside for the rain to stop because her driver cancled the ride, hiding from the rain and shivering from the cold because she did not have an umbrella nor did she brought her jacket when suddenly seungchal stood beside her he told her "it came down suddenly' jiyeon turn her head to the right and saw seunchal looking at her she replied "yes now i am all cold and soaked because i was too stupid and forget my jacket." jiyeon complained and pouted seungchal who found her reaction cute let out a loud laugh "is this funny to you, is my suffering funny?" jiyeon continued to whine seungchal at this point was laughing histarically when he clamed down he removed his jacket and gave it to her however before jiyeon would decline his offer he took off and left.

the next day seungchal came to his class to see his jacket on his table alongside snacks and a letter that said thank you with a small heart besides of it. since then seungchal would join jiyeon during lunch breaks and so that how their friendship started. both of them were often seen hanging out together during luch breaks and would study together they would even spend time together after school either alone or with a group of friends.

jiyeon's feelings started to grow more and more toward seungchal, maybe it was the way he cared for her, or his laugh, or how he would not mind her affections towards him and he gets affectionate toward her too, or how she feels comfortable around him, or maybe he was the perfect guy that she ever wanted.
