FIRST MEETING:
asami met hanbin through dongwook and noeul since she's hung out with all of them before. she didn't know about him or even that he was an idol, she just thought he was a producer. she didn't have much impressions of him, she just thought that he was cute with the bandaid on his face. as for him, he thought she was attractive and fun because she was so happy and cute when drinking.
DEVELOPMENT/LOVE STORY: there wasn't much development for a while mostly because asami had her eyes on dongwook and they only talked when in a group. even then they never really had their own one on one conversation. dongwook invited her to go clubbing with some of his friends and she expected a good time dancing with him. but when she went to get them drinks he was dancing and making out with someone else. asami saw him flirt before but never go that far and it really hurt her, even though he's been doing that behind her back.
she didn't say anything to him, she just left and cried outside outside. hanbin didn't even see her leave but he left to go smoke and saw her there so he tried to comfort her. he never saw asami cry before or even sad actually so he was taken aback. "dongwook cheated on me," was the only thing she managed to say between her sobs and hiccups. he didn't know they were dating but dongwook? yang dongwook? he couldn't wrap his head around why asami would go for someone like that when she could obviously do better but instead of judging her he decided to listen.
turns out she was friends with benefits with dongwook the whole time, she actually liked him and to her it seemed like he liked her too. but he's always flirting with other girls and ignoring her calls, she just assumed that he was busy but him making out with someone else was the final straw. asami opened up to him a lot that day, they drifted from talking about dongwook to her past and why she even decided to join yg. he was the first person to know about the situation with her parents. she just sobbed more and hugged him and he hugged her back tightly tearing up himself. for once he was finally getting to know the true asami, not the one that's happy all the time even when she's truly not. Hanbin wasn't that fond of dongwook in the first place but after that incident everything dongwook did started to annoy him more and more. he would be passive aggressive more often than usual because it wasn't the first time dongwook did that and it was wrong. the girls he plays have feelings too but he just seems them as objects. he had so much anger built up inside him against this dude that it was just a matter of time before it would boil over.
as for his relationship with asami, he looked at her differently since then. they texted often and hung out alone more. when he was frustrated in the studio she'd be the one he called because seeing her just made him feel better for some reason. he could tell when she was acting fake happy and he hated it so much. seeing her even slightly unhappy made him want to fight anyone that was the culprit. asami appreciated it but she didn't like conflict so she would always just say its ok even when it wasnt.
the boys went out for drinks one day, asami wasn't there but she was still unexclusively seeing dongwook like before no matter how many times she got upset because of him. it was nice at first, but soon their drunk side started taking over. hanbin's alcohol tolerance wasn't that great but he was sober enough to understand what people were saying, but for dongwook.. he was faced drunk.
as they all talked among each other each more drunk than the next, dongwook started bragging about all the girls he had and rating them. hanbin was barely listening until he heard dongwook mention asami, his head immediately jolted up from his phone and watched dongwook closely. he talked about asami saying she’s easy giving her a 4 out of 10 in bed. the more he talked, the more hanbin's blood was boiling and next thing you know he was on top of dongwook on the floor punching him over and over again as s tried to split them up.
hanbin just left alone after that, he called the only person that he knew could calm him down, asami. he said it was an emergency so she ran to where he was and was shocked to see his condition. it wasn't as bad as dongwook's but you could tell that he got into a fight. she dragged him to the convenience store and bought some first aid materials to clean his face up. she didn't even ask what happened she just started scolding him right away in her broken korean. he couldn't help but look at her fondly as she gently dabbed at his lip and complained about reckless he was. even when she was basically screaming at him she was still cute. hanbin knew he had feelings, he knew he liked her more than friends. he didn't know how asami felt but he decided to take a chance and suddenly kissed her mid sentence.

asami was there to comfort him the whole time. hanbin told her what happened and she believed every word, knowing how dongwook is she wasn’t surprised to hear that coming from him. but that was the defining moment when she was really done with him.
twitter went wild with the news, since k-os is in the same company as blackout they left comments on the group instagram and group twitter too, even their individual ones. during an instagram live on her personal instagram, her comments were filled with the usual compliments from male fans and random questions. but as more questions rolled in, so did more questions about the hanbin and dongwook situation. the girls were forbidden from talking about it and yg tried to cover it up saying it was a misunderstanding but no one believed them since they had a bad track record already.
