sekyung met nakwon through taehyung. it was one afternoon, when she was waiting taehyung to walk home together and she saw nakwon walking along him. she first thought nakwon was taehyung's girlfriend and was disappointed when she found out it wasn't. nakwon was sweet and cute, so they quickly got along - though they never got as close as they were with taehyung. eventually gathering in the same daegu squad, nakwon was one of the people sekyung considered closer because of the time nakwon hung out with taehyung and her. sekyung appreciated how nakwon was always patient and sincere to listen to her worries and thoughts, and always hoped that the girl would open up more to the other members. after leaving daegu, sekyung distanced herself from everyone else except taehyung, including nakwon. everything about nakwon would be from taehyung, since sekyung really couldn't face her daegu squad just yet. when they finally reunited, nakwon would certainly be surprised of how much sekyung changed; while sekyung could tell nakwon still held onto her abandonment issues. they would eventually heal themselves through each other's company, like they used to be in the past. as they became more mature, they could share their struggles with each other and walk through the difficult phases together as company.

taehyung was her best friend from a long, long time ago. they've known each other since forever, literally. they first met when their parents took them to the park near the neighbourhood, and their friendship blossomed on the yellow seesaw. both of them have moved away one or two times, but they never left daegu, and that was why their maintained their friendship. they would text each other regularly and just talk about trivial things that happened. they were there for each other during ups and downs and they would never judge each other. some people questioned why they were never together. perhaps they've met each other too soon, and they have already considered each other as family. literally - their parents are very familiar of one another. and eventually, they reunited in high school. though they may not be seen together the most frequent, but they were always associated. always. taehyung and sekyung were very comfortable around each other, they're like siblings, only that they were way past the arguing and bickering phase. with just a look or just a smile, they would know what one another were thinking. taehyung was aware of what sekyung did to survive in the industry, but he swears whenever she laughs in front of him without her shield - she is still a kid at heart. they remained tight after each other's debut, as they would attend gatherings with several other mutual friends if possible, and update each other of their lives. taehyung's presence in the industry made it much easier to handle for sekyung, and she couldn't imagine if there wasn't taehyung to listen to all her rants.

yoon sekyung would be lying if she said she didn't miss eden. being the few sane and level-headed ones in the group, they used to find comfort on each other's calmness when the rest were simply out of control. they were close, due to their similar personalities, and sekyung sure helped eden went through his difficult times with sekyung's healing warmth. sekyung used to mess around with eden's secret relationship with nakwon, such as playfully freaking them out by asking to tag along their "study sessions". but everything changed. seeing eden in such a better place with his loving girlfriend, sekyung felt ashamed facing him. sure, she is glad and happy for him, but she has turned into such a calculating person in the worst way possible. not to mention, she would feel jealous of his happy relationship in compare with her hopeless crush. eden, on the other hand, wanted to reconnect with everyone. he wouldn't give up on her just like that, and he could clearly see through her defensive mask, seeing that there is a kind soul underneath. when they finally reunited, it would be as if they never grew apart - eden was as gentle and considerate as ever, and sekyung would easily let her guards down around him. eden wouldn't demand any explanation from sekyung, which made her feel less guilty.

woojoo used to be sekyung's little brother within the group. they were introduced to each other by taehyung, as woojoo used to spend a lot of time at taehyung's. she was younger than him, but back then she was one of the few who was mature enough to be relied on. woojoo surprised sekyung all the time - sometimes he was so chaotic and loud that she felt like running away from him, but sometimes he could be so wise while she spilled her struggles to him. eventually they drifted apart after graduation despite the tight bond, clearly sekyung didn't pay enough effort to maintain their friendship. but when they reunited, it seemed that they never separated; sekyung was still this mature older sister. even if she was not in the best place herself, she would still look woojoo into his eyes and say "you know you can't escape this problem, i can see it and so can you". she still cared about him, after all. woojoo was the one she thought about the most over the years, because she really treated him as her own little brother.

sekyung adored byul the most out of everyone in the group as she foud the most sanity around dull byul. sekyung was probably the one who likes dull byul the most among everyone because that's where the least chaos would happen. byul didn't seem to realise that dull byul is just as loveable as fun byul is so sekyung only treated byul with gentle and cherished byul a lot. of course she missed byul's company as she drifted apart from the group, and even after years passed, byul was still be sekyung's soft spot. sekyung truly emphasised with byul's problems because she, out of everyone, would know the struggles of pretending to be someone instead of being herself. sekyung only wished that byul would at least feel comfortable and confident of being herself around the squad. she thought byul would've got passed her issues with chocolate, so when sekyung knew it wasn't settled at the reunion, she would be quite worried. however, sekyung feared that since she actively distanced herself from the rest of them, her sudden concern would be too overwhelming for byul.

chaewol and sekyung didn't start off well due to the difference of their backgrounds and upbringing. but when taehyung and nakwon began meddling so that they would grow close, the two girls eventually tried to compromise and understand one another. despite having literally nothing in common, chaewol somehow vibed well with sekyung. sekyung easily went soft when chaewol behaved as a tsundere so obviously. she showed chaewol that not all form of love has to be of material context. as sekyung left daegu for seoul, they stopped contacting. but sekyung could still recognise the flowers chaewol bought from time to time. it might be a bit awkward in the beginning when they reunite, but they'll slowly find their ways back to the beginning.
