"the best friend i've ever had." -- she's not a woman of many words, but you best believe she'll ride or die for you and is protective of those who she loves. she cherishes all her relationships, even if it doesn't look like it. mars is honest with people she meets, and meets everything at face value. she doesn't try to hide who she is, because that's just who she is. mars is kind by nature and never means any harm. she's down to help and support others, and is honest with the people around her. mars likes to keep to herself a lot, as it's less energy consuming. she's open to socializing, but doesn't really go out of her way to do so. she's well liked, though people don't really understand her.

background. mars was born in australia for her dad's work. he is a professor and was offered a job in sydney so she grew up there for a good ten years. however, they moved back to korea when her grandpa got really sick (he's okay now though! still kickin). they've stayed there since then just to keep an eye on their grandparents, and her dad still teaches in hoyang to stay close. she attended a local schools there where she met with kim taehyung. he was her bestfriend, and was the only one that shared her interest in games and anime. it all started with trading pokemon cards, when he randomly comes up to her wanting to trade for all the cool looking pokemon despite the trash stas. they stayed best friends until they turned 18, when she went to seoul national, and he went back to daegu. ever since then, her life has sort of lost it's pink hues. she went to school by herself, with not many friends. it didn't bother her, it just meant she could focus on gaming and herself. little did she know, a small part of her heart was festering with loneliness for the next three years, until kim taehyung reappears in her life to attend his last year at seoul national with her. now 21 and about to graduate, a little flyer found near her door, hiring at the trendy cafe, dkml. little did she know that this seasonal job would push her out of her comfort zone more than she'd ever realize, filling the loneliness she's ignored for so long, finally making friends and taking interest in others.
lifestyle. a literal hermit. does not find the need to go out because everything she has is at home. it's scary to her family that she can just stay inside without going crazy. only times she leaves her house is to work, or because taehyung or her family dragged her out. obviously her school schedule is different. she's stacked her classes to be m-th 9am-3pm just so she has a longer weekend of playng games.

the interview !
the name's jadu - it's nice to meet you. she extends her hand to shake as she sits down, then inviting you to do the same. the chairs seem to come forward to greet you as well, putting themselves at the perfect spot to meet your bottom. (mars shakes her hand, and forces a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes) hi, i'm mars kim, but you can call me noeul... it's nice to meet you. why... does i feel like the chairs are talking to me? maybe i shouldn't think so hard... agh no, not a good time to start getting hungry...
so we're going to be doing the interview in a tag team kind of way, thanks to the suggestion of my dumb brother (a slight eye roll is detected), and obviously i'll be starting it off! so why do you want to work here? i just want to work here for the money. i kind of need it for my last year in college, and i figured that since i'm a nutrition major, i think it'd be a good fit for me. basically just need money and experience, but i also like the cafe. it's close to home so i won't have to go so far. it smells so good... would it be rude to ask for a sample?
