> "hard working and pretty." first impressions are everything to chaewol. she's always respectful, and ever so eloquently spoken. everyone always likes her because she's always so polite, charming and pretty. chaewol is always put together, and knows how to string her words together to persuade and charm people to do things that needs to get done, or just to simply get her way. it's hard to hate her when she doesn't give you a reason to. she's willing to help and share her wealth to people who need it without a second thought. it doesn't have to be a material need for chaewol to help with, either. if it's within her power, she's willing to lend a hand anytime. able to stand on her own, she doesn't necessarily need her parents' support anymore. she's able to use what she already has, and can take care of herself. 
> "somehow, she feels miles away from me." she keeps everyone she meets at an armslength, never wanting to get too close, afraid of intimacy, and afraid of getting taken advantage of. afraid that she'll have a good time, only for them to leave her, proving to her that the only one you truly have is yourself. it makes it even harder for her to trust people when she herself is very discerning. she's able to pick apart those who want to use her, and those who are interested in her for her. unfortunately, she still finds it hard to believe that anyone would be interested in her if not for her money. she keeps to herself, doesn't talk much to the people around her, making people wonder about her. deep down, despite keeping to herself, and keeping everyone at an arm's length, she's desperate to find someone who won't leave her behind. to have someone not be deterred by the distance. she's not scared of socializing, she just wants someone to prove to her that she's more than her parents' money.
> "does she have a bad side?" she definitely does have a bad side, but she's good at keeping it under the wraps, or act in a way ever so subtle that people aren't sure whether they detected her pettiness, or if they were just imagining it. chaewol thinks highly of herself, and tends to hold grudges. she's not the type to take revenge per se, but she definitely won't forget, and will not hesitate to play petty, especially if she thinks it's deserved. it's her toxic trait lmao. she's the type to salt someone's morning coffee. to be honest, all of these are her toxic traits. she strings her words together so perfectly, she often gets what she wants through her cunning and spoiled mind. chaewol has never not gotten something she wanted. chaewol thinks highly of herself, and unfortunately has a superiority complex as a result. 
BACKGROUND she was born in australia and lived there for her first five years of life, but moved to korea for two years for her parents' career ventures. she lived with her parents, but they were always gone, leaving chaewol in an empty home. her mom was a famous actress, and her dad was constantly working as the ceo in line for samsung electronics. she grew up with a sitter, but chaewol quickly decided she didn't like it. on top of that, she was constantly getting criticized for not being "korean-korean" in school. chaewol didn't feel welcomed, nor did she get the support she needed to stay in korea. she ended up crying about it to her parents after a few months in korea. her parents agreed she move to australia to live with her grandparents. though she loved her grandparents dearly, she always wished her parents were there with her... being her parents, instead of sending her away. though it wasn't all bad. chaewol met who she dubbed her forever friend, christopher bang. they spent everyday with each other, and his parents treated her as their own. chaewol felt like she belonged, and was loved. she never wanted to leave australia, where there were people who showed her that they loved her. but, alas, she quickly learned that love may not last forever, when her parents moved her back to korea without warning. she finished middle school in australia, and went to high school in daegu... where, she daresay, were some of the happiest moments in her life. she felt loved and appreciated despite the ugly parts of her and her life. she felt like she belonged in korea. chaewol wasn't being criticized for being born in australia, her friends thought it was cool. but at 17, she was reminded again that love was only temporary. life gets in the way of love. her friends went their separate ways, and she went hers, back to australia where she knew her grandparents love wouldn't end. later down the line, after chaewol graduated from university, she and her grandparents moved to seoul for the "convenience" of her parents. (added) at 15, it was a bit obvious to her parents chaewol wasn't expressing any interest in taking over, and so they had another child as sort of a "back up" to the company. though chaewol is aware of the fact chanwol is her back up, she refuses to let him know (any time soon, at least) and refuses to let him feel as such. 
DAILY LIFE she's currently the athletics director at korea university. she works m-f from 7-3, but some days she stays back later if needed (like on competition days or something). she lives with her grandparents with her younger brother in seoul. chaewol isn't the happiest at her job, but it pays well, so she's been there since she graduated. she prefers to actually help people get in shape, rather than oversee sweaty college students being yelled at by coaches. after her job is done, she goes to pick up her brother from kindergarten, and sometimes they'll get a quick snack, walk around town or whatever to kill time. other days they'll go straight home and hang out with their grandparents or whatever else to make the time pass until it's the next day.

describe your current lifestyle. are you satisfied with it?  what's your job, your living situation, etc.? are you happy with where you are in life right now?
> my lifestyle... isn't as luxurious as many may think. i may live in the richer part of town with my grandparents, but i swear to you, it's as glamorous as everyone makes it seem. it... (her voice lowers, thinking about how money truly only buys material happiness and comfort) means nothing when you aren't happy. (eyes dart away as she picks at her skirt. she clears smiling another ingenuous smile). i am grateful for my current lifestyle, though it isn't for me. i'm the athletics director at korea university. i do wish that i was doing something that impacted people more, however. like being a personal trainer of sorts. 

how do you deal when life gets hard, if indeed you do?  what do you do when trials and tribulation come? what are your coping mechanisms? do you even have any?
> (she chuckles at how hypocritical she's about to sound with her answer, hiding the fact that she has other coping mechanisms, but she remembers that it's not "ladylike.") i shop and then i come home i cook for my family. i can't afford to cry everytime something troublesome occurs and worry my grandparents and brother. shopping for new things and donating what i no longer need is somehow therapeutic anyway. i don't run the risk of looking weak and making people needlessly worry.

if you're comfortable, share a little about those hardships. what are some things you're currently going through? 
> i have no such hardships. everything in my life is going by swimmingly. (chaewol smiles, though it's obvious it's a fake smile)
> although she doesn't say, she still is fighting for her independence and is trying to break away from her name as samsung's next ceo. she's also trying to rebuild her relationship with her parents, and trying to find a job that she likes. on top of that, she's trying to overcome the loneliness that comes with her monotonous life that consumes her and break away from the rich people parties she gets forced to every now and again

what's one characteristic of yours that you wouldn't want your  child to inherit?  
> (she thinks a little before answering.) i must say my egotism. though being spoiled is a close second. i wish for my child to never think that they are better than anyone, that they can outperform someone or anything of the like. it is something that i am working on for the bettering of myself, but i don't want them to grow up thinking that they are the only ones that matter and that they can just step all over people and get what they want and still have friends... i... may have learned it that hard way. (she remembers a time in high school where she clashed with one of her friends about chaewol's spoiled and egotisical behavior, cringing a bit.) i want them to be loved for treating everyone as they should be treated; equally.

do you miss high school? what's one of your favorite memories? do you or don't you? and what's a good time you remember?  
> (chaewol's smile reaches her eyes as the crinkle at the corners with happiness and nostalgia) i don't miss who i was in high school, but i only miss high school, only because i had amazing people to share memories with. it may have been a lot fighting over our differences, sobbing together about our grades, and clashing over pointless things, though. my favorite memory in high school was when we were petitioning for prom. petitioning had failed, so we threw our own prom at a venue that i had my parents book as my graduation gift, and we invited the whole senior class. setting it up felt like a fever dream, but having fun together while dancing the night away is the most precious memory i have from high school. though, all high school memories are something i will always look back with true fondess.

what's one thing you wish you knew back then? back then meaning high school, what would you have liked to know what maybe could've prepared you for going into that season of life?
> i wish i knew that graduating didn't mean leaving behind some of the most precious people in my life. or that maybe love didn't have to end this way.

how do you feel about the reunion? what was your reaction to the letter? how are you handling logistics? are you excited? nervous? do you... suspect anything? 
> i may have to calm my nerves a bit (she chuckles nervously). it's a little scary to think about seeing them all again. of course i am more excited than anything... though still nervous. i may have to handle some things at work in advance to make sure that i can go without any interreuptions. (added) i plan on taking the needed days off for when we go to daegu. though chanwol maybe in school, i might pull some strings so that he can come with me... he's never been to daegu afterall. i'll rent out an airbnb or something and have my grandparents come too. it'll be a good, short break for everyone. it'll be nothing too stressful that will make me lose my hair. (she jokes, smiling a bit). as for seoul... i may have to work when we return, but i'll see if i can work something out to see if i can get those days off as well. but if not, nothing to fear! i'll just work. i hope everyone else is finding living arrangements okay? if anything, i can happily provide housing. though i do wonder who could have sent the letters... i have my suspicions, but my suspect isn't letting me in on anything. (chaewol chuckles, near sure it's taehyung who sent them.) the more i think about it, the more nervous i get. i suppose i fear that we may have grown too far apart to bond... still, i was excited to recieve the news! i remember my heart was racing and my hands were shaking. phew, if i think about it too much i still shake! (she laughs) still, very excited... (she smiles fondly, thinking about how everyone is doing.)

what will you be looking forward to the most if you do accept the invitation?  
> i just... want to reconnect with everyone. (chaewol smiles a genuine smile) yes, reconnect and have fun with everyone once again. spend time with those who made me feel like i was someone more than money and care about me. (though, in the back of her mind, she's afraid they won't like her or they've grown apart. even still, she's excited that it may give her something in her life outside of work and family) i may not gain much from this event, but hopefully gain some happiness and healing.
