Personality: 

+ honest, reliable, loyal, passionate

- sheltered, weak-willed, masculine

passionate; She loves the things she loves and is unapologetic about it. Sometimes though she gets too wrapped up in her interests and needs an outside source to help regulate her. This also extends to things she does and projects she's working on, which is the more negative side of this trait. She'll often forget to take care of herself when she's too wrapped up in her work

 

honest; When it comes to relationships, Junhee thinks it's best to be honest. Hiding things leads to people being hurt. For her, honesty is the best policy and she lives by that. She doesn't have many secrets and at keeping them. She won't be forthright with her opinions, but she'll tell you what she thinks if you ask.

 

reliable; She goes above and beyond for people that she truly cares about. Junhee will drop whatever she's doing in order to help a friend or one of her brothers. People know that if they need anything then Junhee will answer their calls. This can go too far though with the fact that she can go into doormat mode and allows herself to be walked all over. She puts everybody else's wellbeing before her own. Junhee is aware that she does this, but finds it really hard to stop.

loyal; Once you've earned Junhee's trust and friendship, it's hard to get rid of it. She has a lot of walls up, so when somebody manages to climb them then you have a ride or die homie. One would have to do a lot in order to lose her friendship. It also becomes toxic because she has a tendency to overlook any major flaws a person has. She'll defend a person, even when she really shouldn't.

 

athletic; Junhee plays a lot of sports and like to keep up with them as well. She plays sports of any kind and enjoys being active. She uses working out as a stress reliever.

 

competitive; Junhee gets overly competitive about most things- grades, board games, sports, arcade games. A lot of her accomplishments in life come from wanting to be the best and beat others. This probably stems from her need to impress her brothers and match them in their strengths.

 

masculine; Junhee has an almost toxic dislike of feminity and feminine things- feminine clothing, being emotional, liking romantic things, baking etc. It's not that she actually dislikes these things or isn't interested in them, it's that she feels like she has to in order to fit in with her brothers.

 

sheltered; With four over-protective brothers, Junhee is fairly sheltered. Her brothers, especially her older ones, try to shield her from all the nasty and negative stuff in the world. They have a tendency to scare people with bad intentions away. While this can be seen as a positive thing, it didn't allow Junhee to grow up with her own ability to gauge people's intentions. She's quite naive when it comes to people and, if her brothers aren't there to tell her a person is ty, then her kindness is likely to be taken advantage of.

 

weak-willed; Junhee is what one might call a doormat. She has a very hard time saying no to people, especially those she's close to. She'll go with the whims and demands of others, even when she knows it's not in her best interest

 

regretful; She spends a lot of time thinking about the past and her regrets. She constantly thinks what she should have done or could have done better. Once the thought is there, Junhee spirals and can't stop pondering over how the situation should have played out. Like 'oh if i'd passed to x instead of y, we would have won the match' or 'if only i'd answered this question correct, then i would have beat this person on the midterm'. She's a very in her head kind of person.
 

Background:

> whenever she would try to wear something 'girly' or try to put on makeup, her brothers would all into submission
> this is why now she has a somewhat toxic dislike of skirts, makeup, 'girly' colours, and anything that could be perceived as 'too feminine'
> the only 'girly' hobbies that Junhee allowed herself were gardening and flower arranging since that was her mother-daughter bonding activity

> bonded with her brothers over sports and found that she liked and was really good at them

> her parents are well off- with her father being a retired architect and her mother being a botanist
> they sold their house in Neo City at the beginning of the school year (Junhee's senior year and Junho and Junyoung's freshman year) and used the funds to have an early retirement in Jeju where Junhee's mother is from and where the family went camping every summer
> meanwhile Junhee and her brothers all live in a campus nearby the NCU campus
> Junhee decided to go to NCU in the first place since she grew up in Neo City and wanted to stay nearby her brothers
> she decided on landscape architecture since it combined two of her favourite things- math and flowers. it also helps that her father taught her about architecture and her mother about plants when she was young
> Junhee is a partial scholarship grantee covering about 60% with the other 40% paid for with the college fund her parents' had set up

Along with her regular classes, Junhee is also working on her dissertation about the ecological conservation efforts of Neo City's botanical garden. Her dissertation focuses specifically on how humans can make low environmental impact landscapes, especially in densely populated areas like Neo City and Seoul. Every Tuesday and Friday she goes to the botanical gardens and works under the staff there as kind of a work-study. Most days she's there from 9am to 3pm.

Work:
Outside of school and her work-study, Junhee also has a part time job at a flower shop. She works there on the weekend as well as the occasional evening if her classes end early. The flower shop is called 'Mama Ji's' and is run by a sweet old lady who should probably have retired by now. Fun fact, it's also the same flower shop where her parents met when they were her age <3

Extracurriculars:
Junhee is on the NCU baseball team and when it's in season, she lowers her shifts at Mama Ji's to fit in all of her training. She puts 110% into her sport so she goes all out.

Outside of school sanctioned activities well... before she met Minseok and the gang, she didn't go to any parties. Mostly she just hung out with her brothers on the weekends and did family bonding activities. Drunk board game night was a common one. Now that she's friends with Yoonoh, she ends up getting roped into going out with them. Minseok often drags her along with the excuse "Chaeyeon's going to be off in her own world and Heeyoung and Yoonoh are too gross to hang out with. Please come with me so I'm not the third wheel." And of course Junhee gives in and ends up going out with them. On top of that, Junho and Junyoung are in their freshman year, so they're going to parties and clubs now too.

• has a tendency to zone out and blank when she's stressed out or trying to really process bad news

• when she's working on an important essay/paper for school, she likes to clean to brainstorm

• shakes her feet when agitated

• stutters a lot when she's flustered and nervous. this mostly happens when Minseok accidentally flirts with her

• when she's trying to stop herself from crying, she pinches her leg and focuses on the pain instead of actually crying. she'll only cry in private, by herself
