as a bioengineer, seojin is strange in two aspects. He doesn't own a beastie, and despite his high skill level and involvement in the community, he keeps a low profile and is relatively unknown For someone of his caliber.
Beneathe his feigned passion for the beastie scene is a deranged murderer. he hates the beastie scene and hopes they die out, so to do his part for to better the world he plants a kill switch in any beasties that end up on his table. if he's lucky, it'll take down its owner too.

BACKGROUND ╱ 배경
seojin was eight when his family went on a two-week trip to japan. It was supposed to be a family bonding trip, the first one in years. Before that he'd spend his day alone, with both parents busy at work. As a police officer, Dad was a pilot, constantly flying to different countries and mom spent her mornings at teaching and night times supervising or conducting her own research. Seojin couldn't sleep in the days leading up to it, too excited for the upcoming trip. As life would have it, they spent day two with seojin in the ER and then flew back to south korea the week after.
for some time after the trip, he'd have nightmares of the jaw clamping down on his torso and the darkness inside its mouth. gone were the days of wild child seojin, in its place was a seojin that was constantly anxious and meek. to his absentee parents, seojin had grown up and matured. they never did spend enough time with him to notice his trauma. After some time, seojin turned to obsessively researching beasties to quell his fears.
the longer his trauma had been left untreated, the more his fears ate into his mind until there was nothing left but hate and anger. he hated everyone involved in the beastie community, from bioengineers, to the pilots and the beasties themselves. he wouldn't have had to suffer if it wasn't for them, and from that point on it had become his life mission to wipe them out.

What do you think of people who own beasties? "can't exactly hate my own customers, can I?" axon laughs heartily. "But really, I don't know how to answer this? It's like asking a vet if they like pet owners. It just depends on the person." he tilts his head and purses his lips, deep in thought.
