Landon is a very playful guy who loves to crack jokes and have fun. He is all about the "work hard, play hard" lifestyle and will never pass up on an opportunity to socialize with others unless there is a sudden time-sensitive assignment from work that he needs to take care of first. Landon is also easily excitable and has very expressive, animated reactions. He is often one of the loudest ones in a group setting and he loves to lighten up the atmosphere to make it enjoyable for everyone there. Because of his job, Landon has had to learn to restrain himself from always making a scene, but outbursts will still occasionally escape from him while he is doing field work.
Refusing to be the oft-forgotten middle child, Landon has focused on developing his presence so that heads will immediately turn whenever he walks into a room. As a result, he has matured into a suave guy who can easily talk to anyone about anything. With such a rich legacy riding on his shoulders, Landon grew up fully immersed in all aspects of magic and knew virtually nothing about No-Majs for most of his childhood. All he knew was that they simply existed, because the Colvins lived in an old wizarding neighborhood that was far removed from No-Maj society and magical folk were highly discouraged from interacting with No-Majs for the wizarding world's safety. Landon spent most of his childhood indulging in the wonders of magic through interacting with magical flora and fauna, playing Quidditch in the backyard with his brothers, and hearing stories of amazing feats performed by various wizards and witches throughout history. The thought of living in a world where magic didn't exist never crossed Landon's mind and he eagerly awaited the day he could officially begin his education at Ilvermorny.
When he turned eleven years old, Landon received his letter to Ilvermorny and moved to the east coast to board at the American wizarding school. He was sorted into Thunderbird, the wing beats of the magical avian beast carving mirroring the young boy's racing heartbeat as he eagerly awaited which statue would react to his presence. Landon immediately took to his house and soon became friends with the other Thunderbirds sorted in his year. However, the two students he grew closest to were from other houses. Robyn Vale, sorted into Wampus, was an extremely talented Quidditch player that got along with Landon like fire and Wallace Emerson, sorted into Pukwudgie, was an orphan brought up by his single adoptive No-Maj father. Wallace identifies as a No-Maj-born, since he was orphaned at birth and knew nothing about the wizarding world until receiving his letter to Ilvermorny. His friendship with Wallace was Landon's first real exposure to the No-Maj world and he absolutely loved hearing Wallace recount stories from his childhood, frequently asking his best friend all sorts of questions about what it was like to live without magic.
After graduating from Ilvermorny, Robyn received many recruitment offers from scouting agents working for the American Quidditch League and the British-Irish Quidditch League. She ultimately decided to join the Ballycastle Bats because of their many major successes; she figured she could hone her skills significantly more under an overseas league which would help make her more competitive when trying out for the American National Quidditch team for future Quidditch World Cups. Landon and Wallace decided to move to the UK with their best friend, since they both were interested in seeing what it was like to live overseas and they wanted keep Robyn company as well. And as an artist, Wallace also had a vested interest in studying European art in person.
Landon applied for a position in the British Ministry of Magic, specifically the Invisibility Task Force from the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, and was accepted immediately due to his stellar grades. It was a bit difficult for him to adjust at first, since the Ministry did things quite differently from MACUSA. However, Landon steeled himself to adapt and he learned everything that he could from his colleagues. After proving his skills time and time again over the years, he was eventually given the responsibility to jointly lead a trusted squad on numerous missions. The Invisibility Task Force became Landon's home away from home and he grew close to most of the members, considering them his second family.
Although Landon loves his job, he does feel unfulfilled at times. A part of him also feels quite guilty for directly contributing to the divide between magical people and No-Majs. Landon knows how important it is to keep the wizarding world safe so that a repeat of the Salem Witch Trials will never occur, but he also wonders from time to time if there is another solution to the situation that can grant the magical community full freedom. All this time, No-Majs have been able to live in blissful ignorance, but the same cannot be said for wizards and witches who are bound by invisible shackles.

Although he is an international Pureblood wizard, he has as much of a stake in this as local wizards, witches, and No-Majs do. The world is much more connected nowadays than it was twenty years ago and Landon hopes that the work he does with the Muggle Integration Initiative can be replicated in other countries, especially the United States where fraternization with No-Majs is still highly frowned upon. Landon is ready to usher in this new era of magic and No-Majs peacefully coexisting with each other.
