PERSONALITY 

many would say that sora is really approachable and friendly. she would not hesitate to reach out to people first to befriend them with a bright smile on her face. undoubtedly, she has a large social circle; it seems to people that everywhere she goes, she is always saying hi or making conversation with someone. she's outgoing and loves meeting new people. sora is also always hyperactive, and is often caught running around the place, annoying her friends or yelling at them from a distance. she has a seemingly endless amount of energy and would never hesitate to greet some in a bubbly manner. perhaps it has something to do with her energetic personality, but sora is extremely passionate in whatever she does. think of tvxq's yunho, or shinee's minho, and sora's amount of passion is comparable to theirs. she's never afraid to try something new, or never stops fighting or doing something, even when everyone else is lethargic. she'll always push through and give her all in everything that she does. sora is a creative girl, often thinking out of the box and coming up with things that others won't even think about. her ideas are always very fresh and interesting.

sora is playful, and would always play around with her friends. she likes to tackle them down, mess up their hair, or intentionally slap their before running away. on top of her playful personality, she always has a lot to say about something or someone and will not hesitate to speak it out to get her point across. she is very chatty, and loves to talk to other people. most of the time, when she's with people, she loves to tell stories about the most random of things, or talk to them about any idea she gets. according to many of her friends, it is impossible to shut sora up once she opens .

however, her mood fluctuates and changes very easily, and the way she behaves is very much dependent on her current mood. if she's in a good mood, she'll probably be pretty nice to you, but if she's not, she's likely to be a . sora is used to having people pamper her and shower her with anything she wants, so she can be really bratty at times. she's not afraid to voice her opinions out and says whatever she wants to say. she's blunt, and will often speak without much thought, causing her to hurt other people's feelings unknowingly. additionally, sora craves for attention. she loves to receive it and would do anything to catch other people's eye. she always wants to stand out and be in the spotlight, which can be overwhelming for some people. and truth to be told, sora is too prideful to admit to her wrongdoings. her ego is through the roof and this pride prevents her from asking for help when she needs it. but, this pride has also ensured that she has to go the extra mile to get what she wants. she treasures her friends, but they are no exempt from her prideful self. apologies might come, but you would have to wait a long time. they are typically round-about and its hard to tell.

BACKGROUND

1994-2007 sora was born as the youngest of two siblings in seoul. growing up, she was constantly being taken care of by her parents and older brother. she had a good relationship with her family, and they always tried their best to support sora in whatever she chose to do. ever since she was young, sora had a special talent in dancing. she had a good sense of rhythm and had good body awareness.

2008 that was why it did not come as a surprise to anyone when sora announced that she wanted to dance. her parents were a little hesistant at first, for they understood how tough the industry was, but their daughter was headstrong and insisted that being an idol was what she wanted to do. so when sora was fourteen, she started auditioning for several entertainment companies, from bigger ones like sm and jyp, to smaller companies like mbk and music works. she was rejected for different reasons time and time again, but eventually, sora found herself being accepted into yi entertainment.

2009-2015 sora started to train hard in yi, improved on her skills and soon, she became a big threat to many of the trainees for her vast improvement and many skills. in 2009, the agency deemed her worthy and ready enough to debut, despite her short training period, so that was how sora's life as an idol began.

2016 ONWARDS as her other members started going into different industries that they were interested in and pursue their interests, sora realised that she wasn't too interested in anything else but dancing. she tried acting, but it didn't work out, not the way it worked out for actress plotline. she was on variety shows, but she wasn't as good as variety queen plotline. entrepreneurship wasn't an option for her, and neither was going solo. sora was just chilling at home on one of her free days, when her brother asked a very casual question, "why not try making videos? you know, like vlogs and ." that was when sora realised, why not? she could start a youtube channel, upload whenever she felt like it and do whatever she want with it. she always had an interest in photography and it seemed like a nice way for her to share more of her life with her fans. with that, she filmed her first vlog the very next day, a simple a day in my life video. a few views lead to thousands, and her subscribers count grew with every day. sowon fans watched her, and even viewers who never heard of sowon, or kpop, beforehand, started watching her as well. she soon started filming, editing and uploading videos on a weekly basis and that was how sora's youtube career started to grow and expand.

kyun hee is quirky and boyish. he's especially fun to be around and is always good at lightening the mood. like sora, he talks a lot too. the two siblings can talk on the phone together for hours on end. kyun hee and sora share a close relationship since they were kids. as the siblings grew older, they spent lesser time with each other as they got busier with their own lives. but they would still try to meet up for a meal together whenever they can and text each other quite regularly to catch up and know what's going on in each other's lives. sora knows that she can count on her older brother for anything, and knows that he'll always be there to support her no matter what the circumstances.

suzy and sora go a long way back. they met in 2011 when miss a and sowon were doing promotions at the same time. being the same age, the two clicked immediately and talked comfortably to each other. suzy is a walking meme, and her expressions and mannerism never fail to make the people around her laugh. her humour and easy-going personality are what sora loves about her best friend. suzy is determined and hardworking, always wanting to prove that she was more than just a pretty face. they're the best of friends, and rely on each other a lot. suzy was one of the few people who did not judge sora for her relationship, but continued to support her. they share everything in their lives with each other, there isn't a single thing that they don't know about the other person and always help each other.

KIM MYUNGSOO (L), 27, EX-BOYFRIEND

onstage, l is a cool, chic visual. he gives off the vibes of being really calm and indifferent. but offstage, myungsoo is the true definition of a soft boy. he's soft-hearted and cares too much for the people around him. he's shy and naive, often getting amazed by the smallest of things too easily. myungsoo and sora met through a mutual friend (sungyeol, actually) and got closer. they started dating in feb 2013 and their relationship was exposed five months later. the couple received a lot of hate and backlash from fans, but continued to date. as time passed and infinite grew more popular, it was harder for the two to meet up. myungsoo and sora started growing apart and soon enough, they found the distance between the both of them too huge to repair. eventually, they decided to put an end to their relationship. although they did not part ways on bad terms, the two still do not keep in contact till today.

like sora, jaewon is a youtuber as well so it was natural that they knew of each other's existence. jaewon is outgoing, talkative and humorous as well. he's the king of slapstick comedy and never fails to make the people around him laugh. he's understanding and sociable. sora and jaewon started talking through instagram dms, where they would often try to make plans for a video collaboration (which never came through). they started texting and getting to know each other better. they only started dating in august 2017 and were caught by dispatch. but at that point in time, they were still trying to sort their feelings out and were still in an unconfirmed status; they were forced to make a confirmed decision about their relationship. because of how fast things progressed, it was difficult for the two to really confirm their feelings for each other and soon enough, they realised that they rushed into things too fast. their relationship crumbled just as fast as they got together and the couple decided to put an end to things three months later. jaewon and sora do not meet up anymore, but they still talk a little and stay updated on each other's lives through social media and their respective channels.

when sora first met dahlia in the training rooms, sora thought the latter hated her. dahlia had her residential rbf on, and sora took it as a natural sign that the girl did not want to befriend her. sure they had a few interactions before debuting, but they weren't very close. it was only after debuting that sora realised that dahlia was just naturally like that, and it wasn't as if she hated her guts. being the same age, the two girls naturally started talking more. they also like to speak in english to each other as well, as they are both fluent in it. they maybe the same age, but sora admires dahlia for how mature she handles things, unlike herself. over time, the two girls got closer and started to rely on each other a lot.

TRAINEE AND IDOL LIFE
sora joined yi entertainment in 2008, where she trained hard everyday, until she constantly felt like she was about to collapse. in a short span of time, sora improved so much that she soon became a force to be reckoned with. with the other trainees at yi, they either loved or hated her. they either liked her for her bright and outgoing personality, or hated how naive and over-the-top she was. but when the debut lineup for sowon was released, it was clear that no one was particularly happy about the ten-months-old trainee's name being on the list. 

idol life was harder than sora ever imagined. she thought that after debuting, everything would become easier but that was not the case. life did not get easier after debut. it was hard to make it big in such a saturated industry. even after sowon gained popularity, sora constantly felt that she was being suffocated, being molded into a person that she knew she was not. sowon faced obstacle after obstacle; it was growing increasingly difficult to sustain themselves as a group.

when sowon left yi entertainment to create their own label, sora felt that she could finally breathe. of course, it was hard to build a company from scratch but she knew that the sowon girls always had each other's backs. at last, she felt free and able to do as she wished. she could pursue whatever she wanted to, and go after her dreams. and that, was how her youtube career started.
