royeon is far from the gentle and docile character her parents wished for. she's not exactly the most polite and well-mannered individual - she curses like a sailor and absolutely hates sitting cross-legged (no matter how much her mother has nagged at her, royeon cannot help but habitually prop her leg up on the chair when she eats). royeon is also exceptionally loud. it's as though there isn't a 'volume down' button on her because she cannot understand what a whisper is. surprisingly, royeon is really neat and tidy and she absolutely cannot stand her room being in a mess. she finds cleaning therapeutic and is also the one who usually tidies up the dorm as well. still, while her room might be in order, she's still a little dumb. royeon can't count the number of times she's forgotten to put detergent in her laundry until her load is halfway done, she takes extremely long to process any information given to her and, as a high school dropout, royeon's critical thinking skills are awfully inadequate. she's been cheated of her money countless of times ("the ahjumma said if i put these stones in water and boil them it'll prevent cancerous cells from developing!" "oh god royeon you're so ing dumb") and she takes most things for face value without bothering to intepret it in different ways. royeon knows she acts without thinking - she's all brawn and no brain. she takes challenges head on and is impulsive. currently she has no long term plans. she much prefers to go with the flow instead of making solid planning: why plan so much if things are just going to change along the way? her work ethic is procrastinating until she can't anymore which makes the rest of the girls frustrated at her most of the time. but royeon's attention span and focus is too short and her motivation to do anything runs out really fast. still, royeon doesn't believe in regretting things she has done: if it happened, it happened.

 

despite all her flaws (and wow is there more to come), royeon prides herself on being able to make people feel comfortable. she's friendly, comical and really expressive - always finding things to talk about. she could probably make the coldest person you know chuckle (or snort, depending on what royeon did). a classical crackhead, really. she's that friend that tells lame jokes and puns but expects big reaction. still, her laughter and giggles are contagious and it'll probably make you laugh too. it's not a surprise that royeon knows a lot of people and has a lot of connections. her friends, however, often threaten to disown her because her spontaneity can get too much at times. royeon just Does Things based on her feelings or her current desires (at 3 in the morning just after practice: "hey yall wanna go to 7/11 and eat shin ramen or something ?? my friend working there says he's gonna give me 10% discount on anything if i go now" "we have practice at 7 tomorrow morning are you insance"). she's one to live in the moment - rarely considering how things would affect her future. royeon is all about spontaneity and isn't known to plan things days in advance. she'd say she's the queen of improvisation and doing things on the spot. but this attributes to the fact that she also gets bored of things really quickly. she needs to be constantly on her feet and doing something or she'd feel her energy die out and lose her motivation. and if she feels like she can't do her task at hand well, royeon tends to simply give up on it ("why'd i bother losing my braincells over something i can't even do right?").

 

this makes royeon someone who isn't isn't the most reliable person and the chances she keeps to her promise is almost 0%. it's not that she doesn't want to keep to her promises. she does, she swears. it's just that she forgets and/ or she decides herself that if she isn't going to do a good job at it, why do it at all? this mentality definitely isn't helpful for her especially since she needs people to constantly tell her that she's doing a good job. this attribute of hers does make people annoyed at her: people barely ask her for favours, especially long term ones. sure, if you ask her to buy you food from the convenience store, she'd do it. but if you want her to choreograph a dance by a certain time theres a 90% chance royeon would have forgotten about it by the deadline. 

 

royeon would say her biggest weakness is that she bottles her feelings up and doesn't like to burden other people with her emotions. she doesn't like conflicts and would do her best to avoid one as much as she can. royeon is a people-pleaser and conflicts are definitely things that spoil the overall atmosphere of everything. so she tends to deal with her feelings by herself and it's scary that she can be feeling really ty about herself but she'd still put on a smile and pretend that everything is okay. you won't even know that she's feeling down. so, while royeon has many friends and gets close to people easily, she doesn't find that she can trust many of them to know about her worries. royeon lives for cheap thrills and she won't bother about whatever that is little more expensive.

 

to her friends and loved ones, royeon is very protective and if you hurt any one of her friends, she will come for you. she hates it to see her friends cry or get hurt and she tries her very best to help her friends feel better about themselves. this makes her a pretty good person to come to when you have problems because she is good at empathising with people. she makes your problems her problems and would give you all her attention when you want it from her. despite this, she's definitely unsentimental ("hey, this picture was taken the first time we went to the amusement park together!" "we,, went to the amusement park together?"). she isn't someone to tell you everyday how much she loves you and how much you mean to her. she hates writing letters and doing all things sappy but she believes that her actions speak louder than the words she doesn't say and sometimes, it will move you to tears ("we already made it this far i'm not going to let the scary manager dude or whatever the his name is break us apart. you got that?").
