//// If you'd spared a moment of intelligent thought: you'd not be in this mess.////
full name / Ryu Hangyeol
other names /
► Gyeollie - the nickname used by his adoptive brother and later by anyone else he becomes close to.
► The Storyteller - Gathering around a fire, Hangyeol is always happy to share a tale or two. He tells stories to the kids, fellow mercenaries, merchants, anyone who wants one. His stories are always full of colorful detail. Now with the Yul army in camp, it's not uncommon to find him in the late hours with others gathered around.
► The Resident Cat - Climbing trees, napping in random places, lazing about, mysteriously vanishing when you're looking for him - someone in the Yul army once called him this, and it stuck around. Sunyoul finds it even more entertaining since they all assume his Laguz blood comes from a bird.

birthdate / (10|25|1996) (23)
home country / Once Dalbyeol, now Yul.

//// Just wait for it.///
face claim / Jeon Wonwoo (SVT)
backup / Noh Taehyun (HOTSHOT), Chae Hyungwon (Monsta X)

appearance /
► With dark hair and dark eyes, Hangyeol exudes the whole tall, dark aesthetic. His hair is kept usually short and black, and when he's in battle he tries ot keep it away from his face. But when lounging it's allowed to fall where it may. He skin is warm toned from travelling by foot about Yul. He always has a curious glint in his eyes even when he's pretending not to pay attention to something.

fashion sense /
► If not in army comissioned gear or travelling/battle, Hangyeol tends to lounge around in loose fitting pants tied securely at the waist (usually in browns or other earth tones), and a white long sleeved shirt that is also just a smidge too big. He likes to be comfortable when he sits with a good book. He is also always wearing a pair of fine, leather fingerless gloves that come up to his wrists, ending in decorative gold cuffs. They were a gift from his parents a long time ago, and Sunyoul has a matching pair he wears all the time too. His boots are also simple and unremarkable. If he's not in battle and just reading or ambling about normally, he does wear a pair of gold rimmed glasses. He's very slightly near sighted.

elaboration /
► Patient, Far Sighted, Rational The one who waits. -  Wait for it. It's a common thing for him to say at any given moment when the rest of the world around him is in chaos. Hangyeol has always lived a life of secrecy. One false word or step, and his secret is out there for everyone to judge him on. It was only natural for him to develop a patient personality: he won't jump into things irrationally without waiting for the right moment to act. He's never in a rush for things. Anything worth doing ought to be done well and without regret. Take some time to consider how your actions will impact things down the line. Eating that pie in the window may seem like a good idea now, but when mom finds out and chases you with a rolling pin, you're going to regret it. He's really not in a rush to do most things. His usual demeanor is casual and unbothered, easily going with the flow of things and letting things be. He worries about keeping his secrets to himself, but he also knows the best way to hide is sometimes out in the open. He doesn't need to appear on edge just because he might actually feel that way. Keep your eyes on the endgame. Approach things calmly and rationally, and you will succeed. It's what keeps him going even when he begins to hear his inner demons shouting at him.

► Tactful, Compassionate The one who takes a moment before he speaks. -  Hangyeol is very aware of the people around him. He also takes great care to be aware of their emotional states, problems, and other possible issues if he is able to. It helps him greatly when it comes to navigating the various personalities and people in the army around him. It's so much easier to get things done when you use a little finesse to speak with others. Hangyeol is really good at not speaking out of turn, and at not offending people in general. But while this is useful for functioning professionally, he does this so he can ensure he doesn't add onto the troubles of others as well. Hangyeol means well in most things he does. He won't add onto someone else's burdens if he can help it, and is more than willing in most cases to help as well if possible. He doesn't like seeing people hurting. If he can lessen it somehow, he'll try as long as it doesn't overstep the person's bounds.

► Articulate, Curious The one who weaves a story - Hangyeol loves the sound of his own voice honestly. He is never at a loss for words in most conversations. Speaking directly but eloquently, there isn't a scene or scenario he can't paint a picture with words about. Along with his rational demeanor, his arguments and discussions are well put together, and he will take great care in ensuring his points are clear and valid to the best of his ability. But pair this with a natural curiosity for most things and Hangyeol is always eager and happy to engage in lively discussions for the sake of learning something new. He is also the one to ask questions, sometimes incessantly, until his curiosity on a subject has been satiated. It can be a bit obsessive if he really wants to sate his curiosity, and usually requires someone to pull him away.

► Casual, Indolent The one who someonehow manages to vanish when chores come up. - Hangyeol has an easy air about him on most days. He can be found relaxing back at the tavern with his brother, under a tree in some shade with a book, making easy conversation with those around him. He's not one for formal airs. If you want to talk with him, come on up. Even how he trains or approaches battle can seem easy going. But since he thinks out his actions well,, he can afford some of this levity. But sometimes he comes off a little too indifferent and can even seem bored at times. When not actively studying or training or given a task to work on, he's just a little bit on the lazy side. He'll cat nap in places specifically so others won't find him and make him do work. He hates doing physical work and will evade it as much as possible. It's not that he's too good or dainty to do such things. He simply doesn't want to. And he's not above whining if it means he doesn't haveto do something he doesn't want to do. You thought he was a mature adult? Oh no. Sometimes Hangyeol is very childlike in his petulant determination not to be riddled with the not so fun tasks.

► Pessimistic, Distrustful, Apprehensive The one who is afraid of what the world thinks. -  Even if you get to see a casual, if a bit dry humored young man, Hangyeol is quite worried about the future. He doesn't know who to trust implicitly, so he hides many things. Is he hurting? You don't need to know about that. He's scared and upset? You don't need to know that either. He's very afraid to show vulnerability as this means an opening for someone to see more than he wants them to. He really can't feel comfortable in one place for too long since in his head anyone could be out to cause him or his loved ones harm. He has to stay one step ahead of them lest they take it all away: just like his families before. In his head, there are an endless amount of possibilities of what can go wrong. He combats this by trying to think far sighted and about the future, but he is often anxious and worried about the now. Sometimes he feels like he'll freeze on the spot with how much anxiety he has over his current situation.

background
► Hangyeol couldn't tell you where he came from. The earliest memory he has is waking up in the home of the Ryu family. He was only seven years old and they'd found him collapsed near one of the forrest paths while the Ryu family were travelling between towns. They assume he and possibly his family were victims of a bandit attack, but they can't be certain. He doesn't know who his parents are, and nothing seems to cause him to remember them or his life prior to joining to Ryu family. The Ryus were known mages and government officials, and had a rather high rank in Dalbyeol society. They felt pity for the.boy and had always wanted a second child. So they adopted him and named him Hangyeol. They knew early on he was a Branded from the mark on his palm, and knowing the atmosphere surrounding that, kept it hidden. They, unlike some of their Dalbyeol relations and neighbors, bore no ill will towards Laguz (or sub-humans they were often forced to call them in company to avoid being singled out). Ryu Woosung remembers being saved by a laguz with wings when he was a child a long time ago: he never got to say thank you to that laguz, so in a way this was his way of showing gratitude. They always made Hangyeol promise to keep it hidden lest something bad happen to him or the family.

(What really happened: Hangyeol is a bastard of a Branded and a Beorc mother, Kim Taeha.  His original name was Kim Jibin. She didn't know what happened to the father, but raised Hangyeol alone for a while and they were always travelling as she was a musician and storyteller. Long story short: someone found out that Hangyeol was a branded, and she ended up fighting with them. One happened to be a powerful noble mage who followed her, along with his men, to the forest and attacked them. The only reason Hangyeol survived is his ability and he managed to escape: but it had a toll on his memory and he doesn't recall any of this.)

Growing up with the Ryus, he and along with his adopted brother Sunyoul studied extensively.  The boys were 20 when they left home to make their fortunes out in the world. They worked as mercenaries for hire, usually as protectors for merchant caravans. They did this for a couple of years, travelling across Dalbyeol and Yul, sometimes wandering to other kingdoms. But just after Dalbyeol declared war on Hwail, tragedy struck.

In the middle of the night, the Ryu home in Dalbyeol was attacked. When the pair returned, all that was left was a charred shell of their former home. No one remained alive. They didn't even have enough of their parents' bodies left to bury. Evidence of an attack by laguz on the home (mostly the wing feathers of the Raven or Hawk clan) led the event to be labelled as an attack by Hwail. This sparked anti-Laguz and Hwail sentiments, propganda declaring the Ryus innocent and just Dalbyeol citizens, victims of a senseless crime. Word got around that whoever the culprits were had killed the entire family. No one knew the boys were still alive: they are presumed dead as well since two servants who died there just happen to be around their ages.

(What really happened: the Ryus were made an example of. Their pro-Laguz sentiments had grown too well known, and their intention of leaving Dalbyeol discovered - they had intended on either leaving the kingdom for Yul or somewhere else. There were even whispers they planned on defecting to Hwail. Local government officials decided to kill the whole family and frame Hwail as the culprits. Or at least "sub-humans" . This would serve as warning to other sympathizers, and an example of what happens. And it would give a good boost to Dalbyeol nationalism.)

With Dalbyeol declaring war on all "sub-humans", they fled to Yul since Dalbyeol is too dangrous for them to stay in. For one, Hangyeol would be in constant danger. And two, whoever killed their parents could still be around and might not like the fact that the sons were still alive. But once in Yul, Sunyoul joined the military ranks. While he loves his brother dearly, and would never think less of him for being a Branded or even any other Laguz honestly, he hates Hwail. Hwail killed his family and left him with nothing. This was not a war about purifying or anything of the sort for him: he wanted revenge, Joining Yul's army might mean a chance of taking vengence. Hangyeol, despite fearing what his being a Branded might mean and conflicted himself over his heritage and what this war was intended for, follows him. He's lost two families now, and he won't let Sunyoul become another loss. Conflicted or not, he follows a path of wanting to see Hwail pay for what they did. But unlike Sunyoul who really believes the idea of Hwail being repsonsible for the murders, Hangyeol has lingering doubts. With the change of the their king Changkyun into something of a monster himself, And what about him being a Brande? Does that mean he might have to fight his supposed "own kind"? Hangyeol has so many doubts about this war.

They keep their origins a secret. The only thing their Yul compatriots need to know is they are a pair of orphans travelling Yul, and have decided to join in the war efforts to support Yul.

relationships /

► Ryu Sunyoul | Beorc | 23 | Thunder Sage | Wind | Sunyoul is Hangyeol's adoptive brother and they've grown up together. Sunyoul has only ever seen Hangyeol as his brother and gets really defensive and angry if anyone tries to claim otherwise. They are very, very close and no one gets between them. He has a deep hatred of Hwail, and enlisted in the army after war was declared in hopes of avenging his lost family. He finds himself sometimes, in the heat of the moments, referring to Laguz as Sub-Humans, and always regrets using that wording because it's hurtful towards his brother. He doesn't hate the Laguz. He can't bring himself to hate their race directly as his brother is a Branded, and his parents always raised him and Hangyeol to love and respect all. But he can certainly hate a kingdom.

He is usually a happy sort of guy and is very easy to make friends and is extrmely agreeable. However he does ten to have more of a temper and is very vocal about his likes and dislikes. He relies on Hangyeol to be his voice of reason and filter most of the time. The pair of them spell trouble for anyone they decide to mess with however. In humor and in battle, they bounce off each other be it jokes or battle tactics. They work well in sync.

Together once in the Yul army, they are collectively referred to as the Storm Brothers. One brings thunder, the other wind. You don't usually get one without the other. Sunyoul also is an admirer of women, and never forgets to compliment one no matter the age.

► Lee Hyelin | Beorc | 21 | Halberdier | Fire | A relatively new acquaintance of the Ryu brothers. Hyelin joined the Yul army before war was declared and is also an orphan. She joined the military as a means of finding a place for herself in this world, and cannot stand the idea of being a farmer or merchant. She is elegant and refined, many mistaking her as some highborn lady when she is far from that.  Her skill with a spear is on point as well through practice and she is a great sparring partner for those who want to practice. She is always ready for a sparring opportunity. While patient and elegant, sometimes Hyelin is also demanding and pushy: she really thinks her way is thebest way, and you would be hard pressed to make her believe otherwise.

She has interest in the "Storm" Brothers ever since they joined the Yul army. She is not one to be interested in things magical as she has never been inclined to it.. She finds them fun sparring partners for when she wants to test her skill against magic, and has a cat and mouse relationship with Sunyoul. He drives her crazy with his louder behavior, but it also endears her. With Hangyeol, she is like a mother hen who frets over him and his wellbeing. There's a running joke that the older boys are actually her sons, and she is there exhausted mother. Which makes her more romantic inclinations towards either one difficult.

At any given time, you might find the three of them together enjoying a drink or each other's company.

► Ji Saetbyeol | Branded | 25 | Swordmaster | Light | (App) Hangyeol was not prepared for what he found when he first came across Satbyeol. Aside from being hyper aware of her presence, and ignoring the teasing he received from Sunyoul who had no way of understanding what Hangyeol was actually feeling, there was just something like deja vu or something similar. Even before he knew her name, she felt familiar.  It wasn't until she approached him when he was alone  one day and asked him about an embarassing birthmark. Oh no. She knew. Had she not jokingly mentioned having one herself Hangyeol would have left the army immediately before it became known camp wide.

Understanding her meaning, he quietly acknowledged it without confirming. But if it was that easy for someone to call him out, he needs to be more careful. He chose to keep a distance from her even if it meant hurt feelings or misunderstandings. He was too spooked and his fears of being discovered and e everything going up in flames just intiated his flight response. He's polite to her, but does not stay in her presence for very long.

But keeping distance made things awkward. Not just between them. Those closest to them could see the tension there and always asked them if they were having issues or if they did something to each other. It became clear avoiding her was causing more harm. They tried awkwardly at first but it was weird and difficult after having kept destance for so long. Thankfully, one day Saetbyeol asked him, "So...do you...want some tea...?" And it was already a rough day and the request so lamely executed that Hangyeol just said, "Tea...would be nice. Tea, yes."

It takes some time for them to warm up from there, but it gets easier. They notably do not talk about the elephant in the room of them both being Branded. They take time getting to know each other on a more personal level and its not immediate. Its usually just them maybe having tea maybe in the mornings at first. Then its them hanging out more and more next to each other in the back just to make commentary on the people around them. Before too long, they're speaking fairly comfortably and casually with each other as an ease settles in. She even covers formhim.when he decides to make himself scarce. "I was never here." "I saw nothing." They have some things in common, being Branded aside.

When they're finally friends is when Hangyeol opens up about the Branded topic again. He has been curious as he's never met another Branded before, but he's been too anxious to broach the subject until after they become friends. The biggest subject now out in the open, and from there they start more personal discussions. Among those learning how she copes with being a Branded and what it means to her vs the fear and disdain he has for it.

He hates that Saetbyeol doesn't know what happened to her brother, and can relate since he would be even worse if anything happened to Sunyoul. He decides that he'll do what he can to help her find him, and tends to keep an eye on her; especially in battle.

trivia /
► LIKES
- Folktales, Stories, Lore. If he has time to himself, his nose is buried in a book reading about these, or he's finding a local storyteller, or minstral to listen in on these. He appreciates real history as well, but nothing entertains and excites quite like a good story. Unknown to him, he got this love of stories from his real mother,
- Taverns. They're an amazing place to people watch and to hear the latest. He also appreciates a good ale or wine from time to time.
- Pastries. He loves, absolutely l o o o v e s sweets. Pies, cakes, anything baked. It's his weakness. If you ever want a favor from Hangyeol, bribe him with pie.
- Cat Naps. He loves a good nap in a comfortable spot, ideally after a good meal and away from the noise of military life.

► DISLIKES
- Hot Weather. It is so much harder to explain why he's wearing gloves when the weather is hot. In battle it's fine. Gloves serve a purpose. But when at his leisure? So. Much. Harder.
- Crowds. Having people gather round a table or fire is one thing, but being in a sea of people is something else. He feels exposed as if being that close to that many people might somehow make him standout more.
-  Tactlessness. Take care with your words. There is a time and place for things. Don't bombarde the general immediately after his friend was just killed with your silly questions. Give the person some space. Hangyeol really cannot stand people who disregard thse sort of things with no regret.
- Chores. As juvenile as it sounds. He generally just dislikes physical labor or menial tasks like doing dishes or cooking. Not that you want him cooking. It might kill you.

► HABITS
- He tends to be a night owl. Late nights of reading, studying, or just sitting out to look at the sky before dawn are common things to see him doing when others are probably asleep.
- Despite being a night owl though Hangyeol is usually an early riser. He takes short walks in the morning to get his mind ready for the day.
- He's also a light sleeper. The guy really doesn't get much sleep it seems.
- Hangyeol tends to move quietly and observe things for a moment before making his presense known. He has scared numerous people by doing this.
- When standing still for too long, he'll begin to fiddle with his gloves. Tugging them, adjusting them, even pulling the one on his right off anf then back on. Nervous habit.
- If someone says something stupid or dumb, Hangyeol tends to speak his disbelief bluntly such as "You're joking, right?" "Are you just dumb or something?" "...seriously?" and the like. It's one ofthe few times he isn't quite so tactful.
- When really happy, his smile is big enough to cause his nose to wrinkle.

► HOBBIES
- Reading, extensively. He has a plethora of stories, tales, and other things in his head from all the reading he does. He loves all sorts of stories and loves even more when he can retell them to others.
- Tree climbing. Okay. This sounds weird. But sometimes he just wants some peace and quiet. And what better place than up a tree? It started as a challenge from Sunyoul when they were kids to climb the highest tree. And now he just sort of does it. Even if he doesn't get to the highest perch, it's still relaxing to be resting up there.
- Story Collecting. He has a personal tome of blank pages he uses to scribe down interesting stories he hears and doesn't want to forget. His book is filled with all sorts of stories, and the margins also have his own little notes and reactions to the tales. Should anyone get this, they'd be in for a very personalized read as those notes often show his innermost thoughts.

► ETC
- Both he and Sunyoul have a habit of finding Seoham, and dragging off with them for misadventures or practice or anything else they can think of. They proclaim it's to complete their elemental magic trifecta. Poor Seoham.
- Has never met another Laguz or Branded before.
- He doesn't like being a Branded. Its only caused misfortune and hardship; even his supposed gift probably cost him the memories of his previous family. Plus he's been raised in a time where no one seems to like or appreciate the Branded. He's spent his life hiding it and being told to never reveal it. Why would he be happy about it?
- He gets along surprisingly well with children. He never gets irritated with them and it's not uncommon to see him spending time at the local orphanage to help out.
- Has an extremely dry, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor.
- Knows quite a bit about ettiquette and formalities, especially when entertaining the upper class. Hangyeol just doesn't care to do it in everyday settings.
- When some of the more menial tasks need to be done...Hangyeol has the remakrable ability to make himself scarce. Is he up a tree? Under one? In a tent? Taking an extended walk? No one will ever know~~
- His alcohol tolerance is amazing. It's one part tolerance, one part moderating himself properly. He's had to carry his brother home one too many times to afford to be drunker than those aorund him. He just tends to get sleepy when drunk too, but there's a sweet point when he's r e a l l l l y drunk that he gets loud and rowdy just like his brother.
- Hangyeol feels a lot of guilt and fear over being a Branded. He always questions if he was the reason why his first family vanished or left him; or if he'd been a Beorc would his adoptive family be alive right now; or will Sunyoul come to harm if otherd should find out while this war is happening. Hangyeol is scared all the time that these things are true, even if he doesn't reveal it outwardly.

► THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE OVERHEARD...
- "...please tell me you didn't actually do that?"
- "Of course I'll help you-absolutely not. You get yourself out of this mess."
- "You owe me so much cake after this."
- "You saw nothing. NOTHING I SAY."
- "I cannot guarantee the well being of your stomach if you refuse to listen to reason and logic, and are determined that I cook."
"I can feel you're disapproval without even looking at you." "Good."
"Are ypou SURE you' don't have some cat blood in there?" "Does this mark LOOK like a cat?"
//// Everyone joins war for some reason. You can only hope yours is the right one. ////
flight or fight/ "Flight. If you can avoid a fight, you should. Sunyoul might think it's cowardly, but good sense is not the coward's way out."
dawn or dusk/ "The dawn. It means new things."
loyalty or betrayal/ "...betrayal. Between the two, this is the one you never see coming."
soulmate or enemy/ "Soulmate."
friendship or hatred/ "Friendship."
moral or immoral/ "Immoral. You have to watch out for those who abscribe to this."
blood or bond/ "Bond. What is blood but lineage?"
sub-human or laguz/ "Laguz."

what does your character think of changkyun? /

► "I don't." Remembering life in Dalbyeol, Hangyeol rmembers stories of the king formerly being something quite different from what they hear of now. He would rather not think of the king though. His thoughts and feelings towards him are conflicted and complex. He's sure he doesn't feel any loyalty to him, nor does Sunyoul, but he can't say he is against him. But then, Changkyun did proclaim people like himself should be wiped away from this world. Thoughts like this are reasons why Hangyeol would rather just not think of him.

are they afraid of the medallion bringing forth the goddess wrath again?  /

► "Stories tell of the chaos the goddess brought," Hangyeol leans back in his chair leisurely. He knows the stories. By now some of them are either heroic epics or cautionary tales. It's always chaos and misery until some hero steps up to triumph. At least, that's how the stories go.

"I'd rather not think about what it would be should the stories prove true. Am I afraid of the Goddess of Wrath emerging again? Of course I am. You're an idiot if you actually want somerthing like that happening in real life. I'd rather spend my last days reading a book of dragon stories under a tree, thank you very much."

would you turn your back on everything you believe in to fight for what's right? /

► Hangyeol contemplates this very quietly. He thinks on his parents, who were so willing to leave to get away from a kingdom they no longer believed in. He thinks of Sunyoul, who believes so firmly in the defeat of Hwail for justice. And he thinks about himself finally. If he had to choose what was right and it meant leaving them and their memory behind, could he do it?

"I don't know." Hangyeol wants to believe he will do the right thing. But theory is different from the actual thing.

would you save five strangers or one sibling? /

► "Sunyoul." He answers almost immediately, "Every single time. This isn't even a fair question to those strangers." He stops to look around and sighs in relief upon finding his brother laughing loudly with some other soldiers around him, "Sorry. You were saying?"

brand / Almost the color of smoke, located on the palm of his left hand. It appears as two wing-like lines that encircle a central spiral, and what looks like the head and neck extend as if looking upwards. He always has a glove on this hand to cover it. He doesn't know his heritage at all. His brother tells him he assumes he's descended from a Raven somewhere in his familial line, but he is just making his best guess based on the symbol and color. But based on his ability, it is more likely to be a Heron. Sunyoul usually concludes the debate with, "some damn bird."

His branded ability is cancelling magic from attacking those around him. He can essentially disperse the magic away from them into nothing, thus cancelling those spells. It's not flashy or elaborate: the spells just seem to fizzle away before making their mark. It's a powerful ability and can be the bane to other mages and magic flingers. But this comes at a price. Short term use has typical side effects: fatigue, possible loss on consciousness, general weakness afterwards. And its not a passive ability. He can't do it without actually watching or focusing on the task. As a child he could do it just by looking at others with limited success, but it made him a sickly child until his parents figured out what was causing it, and had him train to control it proper. Extended use, which has only happened a couple of times before he realized what it causes, will cause him to black out and he's unable to ve roused until his body/spirit recovers. When he wakes, he realizes he has forgotten some time from before. Usually this is most recent past and could be anywhere from seconds, to minutes, hours, to the longest being almost an entire day's worth of memory loss. It really depends on how he's been using his ability or maybe even the power of the magic.

uniform /
► When not in his comfortable attire, Hangyeol wears navy blue, nearly black, long coar with a high collar that folds down over a dark brown belting that secures the coat in the front near his neck. Yul's crest is etched into the golden clasp, and is the only indication that he is part of Yul's army. The coat does have a hood he can bring up should he want to. Beneath that he wears a golden yellow vest over his white long sleeve shirt. His trousers are dark brown, paired with a darker brown pair of nearly knee high boots and matching gloves. Both his boots and gloves have some golden detail. The gloves led up into  dark brown leather braces on his forearms that his jacket sleeves tuck into. These are fastened with four straps that also end in gold buckle details. He does have a specialized belt that not only holds his packs around his waist, it also have holster for his tome of magic. This allows him to place it away and free up his hands should he need to.  (Jacket and concept inspired partially by Robin.)

a typical day /
► If he wakes before Sunyoul, which is usually the case, he gets up to take a brisk walk around wherever he's located. He's generally in a good mood in the mornings, so he greets those he encounters during his walks. He makes his way to a more isolated area to give himself a good ten minutes or so of alone time to just clear his head and not worry about current events or situations. He then makes his way back to join his companions for breakfast. This is usually something sweet if available, though he's not that picky of an eater. His first order of business is to attend any official business and orders. If he doesn't have anything to do, he can be found finding a confortable spot to read or study his magic. If the day goes well, whether it's while completing his orders, or having time to himself, he'll find some place to socialize with his closer companions to  end the day on a good note. Maybe by hitting up a tavern. If the day went poorly, he will find a quiet space to just read or study more magic at his leisure.

//// This is the part where I look at you disapprovingly. ////
final words / Pay no heed to all the ravens...it just worked better aesthetically. ; ; I envisioned his ability to be something he will rarely, if ever, use and it is not a casual power. He'd have to be hard pressed to unleash it while they are in the Yul army. If it's too OP or not right, please let me know. I've got some other ideas I could do instead .

For a love interest, if you would like to take Saetbyeol and Hangyeol to what Anne and I call the "S Rank Support" please do so! If it fits with what you write or want to write! Hyelin could also be a potential love for Sunyoul if you wan to include that.
scene reqs /
► A campfire moment where Hangyeol shares a story with the others.
► A drunken night and Hangyeol either getting equally drunk himself or having to babysit the other drunkies.
► Sunyoul and Hangyeol discussing what has happened in their past, maybe while telling one of the other characters.
► Hangyeol taking his love interest up a tree specifically that he found that has a beautiful view of either the countryside or a city. It's his way of sharing his own secret with them.
► Encountering either the laguz that had rescued his adopted father or maybe Hangyeol's Branded father.
► Participating in a covert mission that ends up being quite ridiculous. Like a poorly executed caper.
