Most people would think Seungmi is antisocial as she usually avoids talking to people. However, if she sees someone at the side with nobody to talk to, she will be friendly to them and try to talk to them so they don't feel left out. Still, while trying to get to know more about new people, Seungmi is reserved, she doesn't talk about herself much. Furthermore, when people don't appreciate her curious nature and don't want to get to know her, they'll dismiss her as being invasive. Which upsets her a lot as she is sensitive. And you'd better not upset Seungmi as she has a bad temper and won't hesitate to go off when she gets mad. #TalkGetHit. Most of the time though, Seungmi tries not to mind unconstructive criticism, but it's when people attack her members that really makes her mad, she's only being defensive because of her loyalty to her members or loved ones and how much she cares for them. They do know too that Seungmi has a good heart, but she can be a bit too impulsive at times, acting on her emotions or shooting off without thinking. Seungmi's honesty in such situations result in others dismissing her as rude, but she does show the same honesty when she gives praises, especially to her members, and she honestly prefers praising than criticising. After all, she tries to be cheerful despite being hurt in the past and always look on the bright side of life.

Seungmi is 152cm tall and weighs 40kg but she will be 159cm and 46kg when she is fully grown. Everything else is the same as her fc.
Basically, Seungmi loves pastel colours. She usually dresses in fairy kei but she recently started wearing lolita and incorporating some gothic elements into her style. Depending on her mood, she'll also wear either her black spiky sneakers or cute pink sneakers.Refer to here for her general style.
Daily : Seungmi's daily style is the most ostentatious, with her wearing lots of accessories on top of already ostentatious outfits.
Dorm : Seungmi does opt for a more simple look in the dorm. Bright colours and cute motifs will still be seen, but she forgoes the accessories and opts for more comfortable pieces.
Airport : It's Seungmi's dream to walk into an airport and shock everyone by wearing an ostentatious outfit and lots of accessories, but it seems that dream may never come true. Her members always advice her to wear comfortable clothes when flying, and she reluctantly does so. Nevertheless, comfortable doesn't mean boring for Seungmi, and when she flies, she's usually wearing jeans or shorts with a cute top.

Stage Name / she chose "Minnie" as her stage name due to her love of the character and as a pun on "Mini", and because it has "Mi" in it.
Languages / she speaks fluent English and Japanese, she can speak a little Korean but she is not fluent yet.
Because Seungmi barely knew Korean, she could barely understand what other trainees and her trainers were saying to her, and often replied them in English "I don't know what you're saying", which earned her her fair share of scoldings. It was just like school in America at first, with other trainees laughing at her and mocking her.
One of the only trainees who was nice to her was a girl called Yoonji, who would talk to her in simple English and coach her in Korean, singing and dancing. Seungmi later found out that a fellow trainee was Yoonji's estranged sister, and wanted to reconcile with her. However, the younger sister, Sooji, like Seungmi, blamed Yoonji for something that upset her greatly. Seungmi thought, if at least Yoonji wanted to reconcile with Sooji, the latter should accept. After all, Seungmi's own elder sister didn't seem to care that she didn't want to even hear her name.
However, with Sooji being headstrong and already disliking Seungmi, it seems like it will be a tough fight to reconcile the sisters. It doesn't help that Seungmi's old friend Erika joined Big Hit later, and didn't get chosen to be in the new girl group which resulted in them training seperately. Seungmi had liked Erika since she was a child even though she only realised it much later, and felt threatened when she saw Erika being close to another trainee.

Seungmi's parents were Korean-Americans who decided to settle down in Japan (her parents are weebs, that's why she became one lol). Before Seungmi, her parents had one older daughter, Seungah. In fact, Seungmi would not have existed if not for her parents getting too drunk one night. Seungmi's family spoke English at home and both she and Seungah were sent to Japanese schools. It didn't seem bad at first, and Seungmi's life consisted of just school, watching anime and hanging out in Harajuku and Akihabara. The last of the three were how she discovered and fell in love with Harajuku fashion and cosplay. Seungmi was happy, with hobbies she enjoyed and a sister she loved.
However, everything changed when Seungmi was twelve years old. That was the year her family moved to America, because her sister was accepted to a university there. When Seungmi started attending public school in America, the kids made fun of her for her dress sense and not being able to speak Korean despite being Korean. They would make fun of her, constantly asking her to "say something in Korean" and cheering and clapping sarcastically when she muttered basic phrases which she google translated. The only person who was nice to her was a girl called Doori, the only other Asian in her class. Doori offered to help Seungmi learn Korean and learn about her "real" heritage.
Seeing how earnest Seungmi was to discover her heritage, her parents decided to take her on a trip to Korea during her summer break when she was 14. That's when she was noticed by a scouter from Big Hit Entertainment, who was looking for more female trainees. Seungmi's parents agreed to let her audition for Big Hit as they believed she truly wanted to experience life as a Korean, and they decided she could still do it when she was a young teen, and Seungmi forgave her parents for moving her to the US with Seungah. However, speaking of Seungah, she still blames Seungah for the bullying that happened to her, and still refuses to talk to her elder sister.
(She blames Seungah because Seungah was the one who chose to move to the US and wanted the family to move with her, and she now understands her parents obliged because they're her parents. Seungmi is also currently attending high school in Korea, she has no plans for college now.)
Once upon a time, Seungah and Seungmi were best friends. However, thanks to Seungah choosing to go to uni in America, Seungmi and Seungah don't talk anymore because Seungmi feels that Seungah was responsible for the bullying that happened to her. Deep down, Seungah does still love her younger sister lots and secretly supports TNT.
Seungmi got to know Doori when the former moved to America because the latter was the only other Asian in her class. Through Doori, Seungmi also got to know K-pop, especially Big Hit. Doori's parents will only allow her to audition for a company once she finishes high school, and Seungmi is eagerly waiting for that to happen.
Seungmi and Sooji tick each other off a lot at first because of Seungmi being impulsive and Sooji being stubborn. It later became worse when Seungmi found out about the elder Choi sister, and Sooji refusing to acknowledge her, with Seungmi being on the "you guys should make up" side.
Gorgeous yet mysterious, that's what Seungmi thinks of Yoonji. Both are very quiet and reserved and still getting to know each other, and fighting their way to gain Sooji's acceptance.
Daeun and Seungmi have a very similar personality to each other, which is always either good or bad. When it's good, they're talking happily to each other but when it's bad, they can quarrel until the building falls down. (I want it to be more bad at first but slowly improves)
Erika was one of Seungmi's neighbours during her childhood, and they often went to each others' houses for play dates. As a child, Seungmi considered Erika her "best friend of best friends", but she didn't know her feelings then were a crush. Seungmi thought it was the best thing to happen to her when the two met again as Big Hit trainees. However, with Erika not being chosen for TNT and having few opportunities to meet up with Seungmi, it seems that Seungmi's love for Erika will be unbalanced. (In other apps I wrote that Erika had a baby but it doesn't apply for this story, because Erika was at least 19 for those apps)
Seungmi has never talked to Chaehee before and never wants to, seeing that Chaehee may be about to steal Erika from her.
