Positive : Erika has a good imagination and comes up with good ideas, she usually comes up with symbolic meanings for stuff too, she seems to find a way to make up a story or meaning behind everything. When doing something she enjoys, she puts 100% effort into it and never slacks, even sacrificing herself to get the results she wants or expected of her rather than producing sloppy work at her own convenience. Chaos doesn't faze her and she always carries herself calmly, and won't be the kind to get excited over small things or scream and yell when she's angry. She always stands by her loved ones and prioritises them over anything else.

Negative : Erika is easily upset by criticism but only shares her worries with a few trusted people. BACKGROUND:

Erika was born in Numazu, a small seaside town in Japan. She was the only child of a widowed mother, who owned a hot spring inn. In her childhood and early teen years, Erika often helped out at the inn with simple chores after school. In elementary and middle school, Erika tried to make friends with other children but never managed to form any permanent relationships. Thinking there was something wrong with her, she started to keep to herself and only talk to people if they talked to her.

When Erika was in her first year of high school, her school was on the verge of bankruptcy, and a second year student had the brilliant idea of forming a school idol group and joining an idol competition in order to gain attention for the school and hopefully garner potential students, and Erika was recruited to be part of the school idol group Amuse, along with seven other students. Although Erika never managed to pick up dance, she ended up becoming a pretty good singer after being in the group. One of the Amuse members, Kieun, a Korean-Japanese girl who transferred to Erika's school, ironically, because her school in Tokyo had closed down due to the same problem, turned out to be Erika's next door neighbour.

Alas, Amuse's attempt to save the school failed, and at the same time, the business of the inn started to head south as well. It was a painful decision but Erika's mother decided to close the inn just before Erika started her second year of high school and move to Tokyo. After the mother and daughter pair moved to Tokyo, Erika's mother got a job as a ramen chef in order to support Erika's studies, as she wanted the latter to at least finish high school. Now that her mother often was not at home due to her working hours, Erika started hanging out in Akiba and Shinjuku after school, usually hitting arcades. That's when she started hanging out with older girls and boys and drinking, smoking and sleeping around. Her mother, too tired and busy with her job, didn't even notice at all, even when Erika got her tattoo and piercings or her grades started slipping, or when she came home at odd hours smelling like alcohol and cigarettes. She didn't even know that Erika had dropped out of school and started working at a maid cafe, and thought Erika had gotten into cosplay when she saw the maid outfits at home.

It wasn't long before Erika became pregnant, at the tender age of 18. She didn't know what to do, who to trust. Eventually, she was caught by her mother packing her suitcase in an attempt to run away from home, and tearfully confessed everything. Of course, she received a heavy scolding from her mother. However, to her pleasant surprise, her mother encouraged her to have the baby rather than getting an abortion and try to get a job after she gave birth.

Now that she was responsible for another human's life, Erika decided to make a clean break from her "friends" and gave up drinking and smoking. It was then that she found out Kieun too had moved back to Tokyo and gone to another school, and the two friends reunited. Kieun had also became a fan of K-pop after hearing Gfriend's song Rough in one of the shops in Koreatown, where she lived. Kieun had even started a YouTube channel where she posted a dance cover of the song, and encouraged Erika to start a YouTube channel too. "But I can't dance with my growing belly." "You can sing!" Erika then decided to start a YouTube channel, and did Rough as her first vocal cover. She was criticised by many netizens for her bad Korean pronunciation, but Kieun offered to help her with it and encouraged her to continue. Having a lot of free time as she was often at home and had nothing to do, Erika ended up getting into several K-pop groups when she randomly watched their MVs and at the same time, did many vocal covers.

Through her YouTube channel, Erika was scouted by Cube Entertainment. Sure she was a little chubby looking, but there's nothing diets, exercise and plastic surgery can't fix, right? Only when she arrived in Korea did they realise they made a huge mistake when they saw her bulging belly.

TRAINEE LIFE: Cube was too proud to admit their mistake in recruiting the then heavily pregnant Erika but decided to train her in singing first and then train her in dance after she gave birth. Erika wanted to make friends with the other trainees but was afraid of how they would judge her, who even tries to become an idol when they're pregnant? It was a matter of time but she eventually trusted a few of them and realised they too had their own struggles.

Being small in size, Erika's growing baby ended up exerting a lot of pressure on her backbone and hip bones during her last trimester, and she had to undergo a C-section when she was eight months pregnant due to her gynaecologist's fear of her dislocating her hip joints if she carried the baby to full term. Training at the same time as caring for a newborn was hard, and Erika was just about to quit until Kieun decided to be an idol too joined Cube after graduating from high school. Against the odds, Erika debuted as a member of GGSN.

✩ "GGSN's Erika is a single mother?" Erika had been trying to keep her daughter a secret from the public but another group member had accidentally recorded Hana calling Erika "mama" on her instagram story video. Knetz went crazy over this and bashed Erika all over the internet. This scandal is true, but Erika admitted about her daughter and her past after the scandal.

✩ "GGSN's Erika was a bad girl in the past!" Naturally, when Erika had to admit she had a daughter, she had to tell everyone how she ended up becoming pregnant, and confessed that she had been sleeping around as well as drinking and smoking. This scandal is true and she's ashamed of it but she says without it, she wouldn't be who she is and have had Hana, the best thing in her life.

Positive : Kieun is very confident in herself, always presenting herself at what she deems to be her best and saying things like "I'm cute", basically always "self-praising", and she tries her best to see herself positively. You'll think Kieun is a shy girl because of her sweet looks, but that's not the case at all. Kieun loves talking to people and getting to know them and forming personal relationships with others. Kieun also seems to get people to befriend her and love her effortlessly, and that's how she and Erika first became best friends.

Negative : Nevertheless like Erika, Kieun is easily affected by criticism, although she keeps it to herself and only grieves to a trusted few. Kieun also has the tendency to do things without thinking, only to regret when faced with the consequences. Kieun also loves making plans, but has a tendency to want to give up when she finds them no longer enjoyable or the maintenance too tedious.

HISTORY:

✩ As they lived right next to each other in Numazu, Kieun and Erika would walk home together after school almost every day, and spend lots of time at each others' houses. They even spent nights on their respective balconies talking to each other before going to bed. The night before Erika moved to Tokyo, the both of them wished upon the brightest star in the sky that they would meet again someday.

As cliched as it sounds, their wish came true, and Erika and Kieun reunited in Tokyo. When Kieun found out Erika was pregnant, she thought the latter had gotten married early. Despite finding out that Erika had been involved with bad company resulting in her becoming pregnant, Kieun did not mind at all and even jokingly said she would be the baby's second parent. The two were unfortunately seperated again when Erika became a Cube Entertainment trainee, but still promised each other they would meet again one day.

Kieun realised she liked Erika after the latter had left for Korea, and decided she would make good that promise. After graduating from high school, she auditioned for Cube Entertainment, and was accepted, and the two were finally reunited.

INTERACTIONS:

✩ Before they started dating : Unlike how Kieun usually goes around telling her emotions, she tries her best to hide her love for Erika, but tries to "drop hints" once in a while by praising the latter without context, doing her small favours or buying her small gifts. This leaves Erika bewildered most of the time and wondering why Kieun does so. They're still best friends, but Kieun's behaviour is starting to make Erika feel weird, and the latter doesn't suspect anything since the former mostly does the same to every other labelmate.

✩ After they started dating : They have different schedules and live in different dorms, but try to drop in on each other whenever possible, and there's always texting and social media. Kieun sometimes leaves lollipops for Erika along with handwritten notes of encouragment, and sometimes even Minnie Mouse gifts. Erika too, sometimes writes notes to Kieun and leaves gifts for her, usually cookie-themed ones.

STATUS: Best Friends (later dating)
ENDING: Eventually, Kieun roped in some other girls from Cube to prepare a confession gift for Erika. "Why didn't you just tell me?" "I thought you wouldn't want to be my girlfriend." "We've known each other for so long, why did you think I would say no?" The two ended up dating happily, they're also planning to move to America and get married once their contract ends.

LAST COMMENT: I was reluctant to not use Aragaki Yui as her fc and age her down but now I actually don't mind her being younger and having a different fc if the age range requires it! I hope you didn't mind me choosing the same backup plotline for her and Mia because I couldn't think of anything that suits her. Also, I didn't know where to add it but Kieun sometimes calls herself Cookie, which comes from her surname "Ko" and the "Ki" in Kieun, which she thought sounded like "Cookie" when pronounced together (which also explains Erika giving her cookie themed gifts). You didn't state who you're using for GGSN's discography twins but if you're planning to use Gugudan or Twice I will update as appropriate. Finally, I forgot to mention in Mimi's app but I'll add Yujin and Katie once their example apps are available!
