This rant is primarily about tags on Pinterest. A few here and there on tumblr or elsewhere but ... mainly just Pinterest. 

Whenever I search for EXO I get all sorts of things that has nothing to do with EXO, primarily BTS memes. I don't mind BTS but I'm not their fan and their memes are not the kind of thing I'm getting a kick out of, sorry. 

And it's especially not what I'm looking for when I'm searching the tag EXO. 

I don't know if Pinterest has some sort of crazy stupid algorithm that makes zero sense but I sometimes (although rarely but sometimes) see it elsewhere as well and it drives me nuts.

Look, what's the point of tagging both BTS and EXO in a post that has nothing to do with one of them? 

An EXO meme should be tagged EXO only. A BTS meme should be tagged BTS only. 

I know it may get you more views or something but how worth is it if all you gain is annoyance because somebody thought they were getting one thing and you're serving something else completely?

In story terms I see it more often as ship-tags like some people tag every damn ship to their story and readers will then learn it's not what they signed up for. It's annoying at best. 

Stop it. 

Tag correctly and avoid being a nuisance to people who don't want to look at your content. T_T
