"before she became school president we already knew about her because well, first things first, her mom's the pta council leader and starts every goddamn speech by talking about her genius daughter - also the woo family has made lots of donations over the years, so. so yeah, some people are jealous of boram and her background, but no one can ever actually hate her because none of us can find flaws. it's scary. she's never lost her temper and is so nice it's scary. and then there's the fact she never misses her deadlines and the student union this year is pretty much the best one we've ever had... "I'm going to guess no one has anything really bad to say about boram, because as her longest friend since childhood, I don't have much to tell you either. she is as nice as she presents herself, which I honestly don't understand when her mother's like that, but she is just that nice and kind to a fault. but then there's this thing she does aka building up a goddamn fortress around her inner thoughts and protecting herself from pretty much everyone, but then she gets really hurt when people don't understand her. it annoys even me to be honest, how she's overly sensitive to everything and cares so much about what other people think of her. because let's be honest, no one is going to see that one tiny faded pimple on your chin. no one. just post the picture. you're pretty as hell. stop calling yourself ugly and useless. just post the picture and let the likes roll in as they always do." —  park woojin, senior and best friend. 

"while boram is definitely one of the best student union presidents I've ever come across due to her emphasis on the welfare of students and how she readily accepts everything headed her way, I know principal song is stewing over how boram always butts head with him. you know how our school wants students to cheer for athletes at sports events but won't let students leave during school hours to do so? yes, it's a stupid rule, but principal song refused to budge, so I never said anything. count it on boram for her to practically yell at the principal of all people to change the rule." —  jeon taehyung, teacher.

boram's family background is definitely worth mentioning. her dad, woo jinwook, is the current ceo of woo pharmaceuticals and her mother, heo aerin, is a doctor. her older brother, woo seunghyun, is being groomed to take over the business, and aerin has taken great pleasure in making sure boram follows in her footsteps. ever since she's been a child, boram has been forced to take tutorial classes after tutorial classes in order to get the grades her mother wants. her hours after school are no different from actual school hours - the only time she ever rests is when she's sleeping, and even then she gets nightmares a lot. 

the first time she felt that she was different was when she was four and a flower girl for a family friend's wedding. she saw a girl of similar age ( she still remembers her name, shin ryujin ) and found the girl ot be gorgeous. after a few rehearsals together she happily told her mother that "ryujin is really pretty, I like her!" her mother's expression darkened and boram dropped out of flower girl duties. by the time she was eight she knew she wouldn't be accepted and thus when her mother hesitantly mentioned "do you remember ryujin? do you remember saying you liked her?" she knew to laught it off and say that it was just the things children said. 

boram's life is a blur of responsibilities and stress. her school life and after-school life molds together to form neverending classes, and she arrives home at eight thirty to eat dinner alone, not even daring to go on her phone because the housekeeper is a snitch. after dinner, she takes a quick shower and settles in front of her desk, first finishing whatever proposal she needs to type up, then her homework, then studying till midnight. at midnight, she downs a whole cup of black coffee and powers on for two more hours before she calls it a day. she wakes up bleary-eyed, and as she stares at herself in the mirror as she ties her ponytail, she sighs as the day starts again.

a member of the student union, debate team, biology society, model united nations, the iota club is like her sanctuary. she tells her mom she's at 'robotics club' meetings when really, the time she gets to spend with her friends just kicking back and laughing and gaming is the only time she gets to relax and unwind from her full schedule. other times though, you'll see her hunched over notes and homework in the classroom as she furiously scribbles away, not wanting to waste a single second. 

weekends aren't necessarily better because she's also got tons of lessons lined up, but sometimes, just sometimes, she'll skip one or two classes so she can hang out with friends and grab a chocolate chip cream instead of a black coffee for once. she's also now started teaching a cute lil 6 year old boy maths and english for some extra pocket money - she said it'd sound great in interviews and her mom saw a point, which is why boram has two hours every week with what she thinks is the cutest little boy in the world. not really stress relief because the boy isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it makes her happy.

💙 actually has really ty handwriting. it doesn't matter what language she's writing in, her words are an eyesore. they're tiny and pushed together and no one wants to read her essays, which is why no one asks her for her homework.
💙 her hair may be one of the things people are jealous of ( so brown! so soft! so curly! so luscious! ) but honestly her secret is she's usually too lazy to wash it frequently. in fact, the longer she hasn't washed her hair, the better it looks. that's why boram practically lives on dry shampoo.
💙 loves, loves, loves working with children. she tells people it's because they're so adorably innocent she wants to protect each and every one of them. she knows that deep in her heart it's because she wants to experience their childhood by being close with them because she never had hers.
💙 really likes chow chows and has pretty much made it her goal to get one as soon as she's independent and financially capable. click into her following list on instagram and you'll see her following a huge number of chow chow accounts and the hashtag as well. will stop and pet any chow chow she sees on the streets. 
💙 her instagram is @woooboram_ and she has around 1.2k followers, with each post averaging around 300-400 likes and each story averaging 2k views. yes, she seeks validation from social media because her perfect image takes a toll on her and she's hung up on keeping it. she cares about her image so much she oftentimes posts stuff that will make her life seem like #goals on her stories but doesn't respond to peoples' texts.
💙 has really ty response time because she thinks texting is a hassle and she doesn't have the time for it, while it only takes a few seconds to post something. that's why she takes hours to reply to someone, sometimes even days. also tends to use full sentences and proper grammar.
💙 her reaction to any situation is the same. a placid, tiny smile on her face as she tries to stay calm and think of a solution. smiling is her way of forcing herself to keep a clear mind and to chill the out. 
💙 has a whole wall in her bedroom dedicated to polaroids. she writes down the dates on each and every one and asks the other person in the picture to sign it. 
💙 doesn't really have hobbies bc she's never had the chance to explore any but would probably choose gaming because... that's the only thing she gets to do nowadays really. or ever.
💙 many think that the stress she has on her shoulders would cause her to have... subpar mental health, to say the least. however, boram's been brought up facing lots of duties so she doesn't break under stress easily. there are times when she has breakdowns and starts crying in her bedroom in the middle of the night, but most of the time she's alright, and doesn't feel any constant unhappiness or emptiness. just stress, but she's able to turn that into motivation.
 💙her parents aren't terrible people. in fact, when they are home, they joke around with boram and are very pleasant in general. they're just demanding and have high standards, which boram knows is because they want the best for her, so she doesn't detest her parents for forcing her to be tip-top. however, she hates the fact they're almost never around.
💙 boram and her older brother ( by five years ) were closer as children, when seunghyun would cuddle with a toddler boram as they watched television together. time has made them drift apart, and both are always terribly busy, but whenever seunghyun hears boram crying in her room, he walks over and hugs her till her sobs subside.
💙 because boram is alwaysup  in everyone else's businesses, she knows how to use her family background into her favour. why do you think jinho's bullies backed off? other examples of her using her background to the fullest would be how she asks her father for donations to the student union's budget. 
💙 habits include picking at the dry skin when she's frustrated, obsessively tightening her ponytail when she's nervous and biting the insides of her cheeks when she's furious. so no, she's not coughing up blood, she's just angry.
