— Because I have lost my amazing writing abilities, I shall give you a brief outline of his appearance. Lee Junseok has fluffy chocolate-coloured hair that is arranged neatly on top of his head, which is always carefully styled. He has brown eyes that are normally sharp, but softens when it comes to his family members and/or his bandmates. He also has plump red lips that he likes to draw his tongue over on stage seductively.

Junseok, being a main dancer of the group, has a slim and lithe build which is thanks to hours and hours of dancing. He also has long limbs that are really useful when dancing.

— Junseok does not care about his appearance at all. Literally. He sees whatever is in his wardrobe, he puts it on and walks out like it's his own house everywhere. (And somehow he still looks fine as ) Well, one thing he absolutely needs to wear when he goes out is his beanie. And a flannel jacket.

Compared to his fellow main dancer, Junseok is an angel. He's nearly the exact opposite of Jineul, what with his kind and gentle personality. He is usually kind to everyone he meets, never faiiling to impress everyone with his manners. He's also a gentle individual, and usually never loses his temper. 

Being a helpful boi boy, he often helps out at the dorm, which significantly lessens Yixuan's burden because Lord knows he already has enough to do, what with having to take care of his 'kids'. To Yixuan, Junseok can be considered the oldest son even if he might not be the oldest.

Junseok is also caring, and sometimes specifically goes out of his way to help others, such as his bandmates or even the staff at Pledis/ This makes him quite popular amongst them too. 

Moreover, he's outgoing, which means that he often takes the initiative to know people, and is friendly towards strangers when he thinks they need his help. 

Being ambitious, he aims for the top, and being determined, he always finds a way to crawl back on track, despite being at his lowest. However, in this determination of his, there is one slight flaw - his competitiveness.

Due to that, sometimes Junseok himself doesn't even realise when he decided that he would settle for nothing less than perfect. Meaning that sometimes he uses ruthless ways to achieve his goal and be the best, sometimes accidentally outshining his fellow main dancer, Jineul, and leading to fans saying that hey, one of you should leave. 

Believing that he was never a handsome individual to start with (despite numerous protests from members and fans alike), everytime he looks in the mirror, he belives himself to be inferior in terms of looks and becomes insecure with his own body. 

Also, Junseok is quite distrusting despite his outgoing nature. He doesn't trust people easily, regardless of whatever antics or friendly greetings they come up with. In a way, this is quite safe as he won't blindly trust people, but sometimes this stand in the way of his friendships as well.

And this in turn causes his closed off nature. While he is outgoing and friendly most of the time, Junseok becomes closed-off when he is moody, shutting himself in his room or in the practice rooms until further notice. 

Lastly, he is extremely possessive, and would not 'hand over' anyone he likes to other people. Due to this, he gets jealous extremely easily. This causes a lot of misunderestanding too, such as, oh, you know, when he wants to hog someone for himself for the whole day but then that guy is busy and so he gets slightly pissed and the other think he is mad at him or something. 

background. Junseok's childhood is literally nothing special. Born to Korean parents, he had lived in Gwangju ever since he could remember, andddd that's it. 

Except it isn't. 

When he was in middle school, his parents suddenly divorced (yay) and his mother moved to Britain, taking him with her, and therefore he spent the rest of his schoool years in Britain, going through high school.

One day, he got introduced to Kpop through one of his close friends, and it was the time when 'Nobody' was at its peak. After that, he started to listen to more of Wonder Girls' and other groups' songs, and it was then that he decided to maybe - just maybe, persue that as a career. 

Heading back to Korea to live with his sister, he started university, though attended violin classes in his spare time, even agreeing to performing in Hongdae with some of his friends who thought it would be a great idea to spend a Sunday afternoon.

There, he got scouted by a Pledis manager, and started his trainee life....or is it?

— Ice cream. Despite being...what, twenty years old? he still gets excited over the notion of ice craem like a five year-old, and often it cheers him up a lot during one of his moods, so Jineul tends to wheedle Hyunwook to do it when he sees Junseok being upset (because despite everything, he still cares for him...maybe?) His favourite flavour is cookies and cream.

— Mystery novels. When he's not practicing or sulking or playing games, he's usually reading with his glasses on. 
— Gaming. He's extremely addicted to games, especially Overwatch, and he sometimes stay up to play. Due to his competitive nature he often says he'll give up when he loses, but he hardly ever.

Some say Junseok inherited his kind and gentle nature from his mother, and that's actually true. Due to unknown reasons, Hayeon and her husband divorced, and because she is an extremely good family lawyer, she won the case, got most of the shared property and moved to Britain to escape the hectic life of Korea. Because she was his sole guardian for quite some years, Junseok grew extremely close to his mother, and respected her a lot.

Because his father was a strict person, Junseok didn't really like him, especially when he spent the majority of his son's childhood away, leaving him with his mother. Therefore, while he was ashamed to admit it, he was secretly glad when he was going to live with his mother instead of his father. After the two parted ways, they never saw each other again.

After moving to Korea for university, he stayed at his sister's place. Since Mina is a fashion designer, she often likes to dress Junseok up, which annoys him greatly. Since she is currently studying under a famous fashion designer that Jineul absolutely adores, he pesters Junseok to allow him to meet his sister.

Hoshi was the first actual friend that Junseok made during his trainee days because both of them were the dancers of their group. They get along well, though their relationship somewhat became distant after Seventeen debuted because Hoshi was so busy.

One of Junseok's friends at university, and one of the members of the group that Junseok performed in Hongdae with. After Junseok got scouted, Seyoon became a trainee shortly after. Due to their trainee scedules, they couldn't meet up often, but they are extremely close, what with sharing the same university and dorm room when they were studying.

— He was scouted when performing in Hongdae, and started training in Pledis ever since. Due to him having experience of modern dance and ballet, he quickly became one of the best dancers in his group, though his singing still needed help. While he was still a trainee, as not to drop behind other trainees too much, he had vocal and rap practices in the day, and sometimes get only three to two hours of sleep in order to keep his dancing up.

— At first, Junseok and Jineul were extremely good friends, maybe even best friends, since they're in charge of the same position - dancing. Rather than creating choreographies, Junseok had help Jineul perfect his by fixing parts, and together they were inseperable during trainee years, and even in early debut.

However, things underwent a large change when the fans started comparing them. Some were saying that, with Jineul's swag and powerful popping, there's no need for Junseok's graceful dancing. Some were saying that Junseok's dancing completed with his knowledge of modern dance suits the group's songs more, and that Jineul can, for lack of a better term, off because he's not needed. A small minority of them insisted that both of them are needed. 

And it was then that everything went downhill. Junseok, having had feelings for Jineul before, realised that there is just no way for them to have anything deeper, let alone mend their friendship. He knows it isn't Jineul's fault, and part of him wants to confront Jineul about the whole issue and talk things over. But another part of him, the competitive part of him, insisted that it might be better for Jineul to leave, because then he would be in the spotlight. 

And thus the tension between them continue to grow, especially during instagram or vlives, even fansigns, when fans started to hint at the departure of one of the main dancers.

first meeting. 

— They met during their trainee period. When Junseok was practicing at a dance room one day, Jineul happened to stumble upon him and was mesmerized, because he himself had done ballet and heck, it was more graceful than anything he could manage. So being the person he is, Jineul walks up to Junseok and introduced himself, and unfortunately realised how cute Junseok is, and stumbled over his words. Oh, he might've used some puns as well, but let's ignore that because we know how bad Jineul's puns really are.

Anyways, it was enough to set Junseok off laughing, which Jineul takes for a good sign. The two then practiced together, pointing out mistakes and flaws - which Junseok actually accepted, considering how competitive he is.

— They were extremely close during their trainee period. They trained together, ate together, and Jineul even showed Junseok pictures of his family. Tbh, they were practically inseperable. Being both extremely good dancers, they choreographed dances together, and even now, there are a lot of pre-debut videos online in Pledis' account, though neither of them mentioned anything now. 

Moreover, Jineul likes mothering Junseok, which he laughed at at first because Jineul, you're younger than me. However, he realises that it was quite cute because it was nice to have someone fuss over him, especially since it meant someone caring about him. Eventually, he started opening up to Jineul. :)

When it was announced that the two would be in the same group lineup, both of them were ecstatic at being in the same group, and damn we can even room together. 

Eventually, they did end up rooming together. Though that just made matters worse when the fans started talking, so in the end one of them roomed with another member.

— Tension, bitter silences, verbal arguments, even stupid dance battles were done after the discussion of who should leave the group. In Junseok's end, he knew that it wasn't Jineul's fault; however, he also knows that, if he doesn't work hard, he might end up being kicked out, so he's extremely confused and conflicted.

Part of him wants to hug Jineul like when they did before (because Jineul is a big fan of skinship) and make up, and explain sternly to the fans that CNTR10N is a group and they're part of it, so don't say that one of us is unneeded. 

Honestly, it's driving him crazy. What's more, Junseok usually lets off steam in the dance practice rooms, and Jineul does that too, so sometimes they bump into each other. With the large amount of dancing the two does, their fellow members think they're training to compete against each other, so they're even more worried.
