Yes, she's not all that great in Korean. But also that language is freaking hard to learn! Even though she managed to somewhat get with the language over the years, her intonation still sounds very hard and harsh which intimidates most of others she talks to
.

looks isn't everything. but to us it counts 90%.

   appearance
On screen a bunch of pretty girls is happily waving into
the camera, cuteness overload. Just one of them sticks out like
a sore thumb. From the very first glance she looks out of place.
Because of her natural appearance, so to say. She's a foreigner
and one can tell way too easily, whereas the stylists must have
put lots and lots of effort to make her somewhat fit into the row
of female K-idols. Still, even the vibe coming from her is different.
While the others seem to have a natural cuteness surrounding
them, this girl has something oddly mature on her. Maybe it's
the way how her 'I'm so done with this'- attitude shines
through the masked, half-assed smile or it's just because her
facial features as much as her body structure scream woman
while the Korean members are put back to sticking to the
girly image.

Long story short: Becky stands out in basically every visual
department, even though she wishes she wouldn't. At the height
of 1,74m she's taller than the average Korean woman and since
she's half caucassian, she tends to look a lot less healthy when loosing weight. Her limbs start to look oddly unfit to her body and her face also will look a lot more like a skull than with the full-Korean girls. May it be because they used fillers to touch up the skull head look and Becky didn't but anyway, it will stand out not all that positively. That's also the reason she'll make sure to eat even if it's in secrecy. Becky doesn't really care what all the staffs, the manager or even the CEO'd say to her. Eating is a MUST. And she didn't live in the UK for almost all her life, being told eating is healthy just to give up on it entirely because some crazy Koreans say that's how a girl has to loose weight. Becky thinks her 56kg are already too less for her height. You want her to go down to 50kg? Well, she wants you and your sick view on world to go to hell.

   fashion style

Koreans like it girly. Cute, short skirts added to big pullovers, nice blouses and
very natural looking make-up. Add a pair of even cuter looking shoes and your
pic of the day is ready to be taken. Yet, this is everything that Becky's life is not
about. She finds it very confusing how grown women are trying to act and
dress like mid-schoolers and will throughout reject to dress the same. Well, at
least when she gets the chance to veto her way out of it.
In the rare moments of free time, Becky will prefer dressing in more mature
clothes. A nice blazer or a comfortable, elegant pullover are all she needs to
hit the streets of Seoul. Want her to go full out and be a happy camper? Then
get her a set of grunge clothes. Hip-Hop style is something she can tolerate but
would probably only wear if forced to. You do you, boo. I do I. At least it's
better than pretending to be a child. Becky likes to stay true to her real colors, hence the reason she always eyes mainstream victims with the most judgmental eyes ever. And she doesn't care if she gets the same stares back for dressing differently. She'd still paint her fingernails in pitch-black or sparkly silver, get her black pants and a blazer and show you her middlefinger... ring for trying to appeal to the masses. Pretending to be someone else from who you really are, is colliding with her point of view way too often. Especially ever since she came to Korea. And the duty to obey to those bizarre Seoul fashion trends are haunting her every day, even after pealing off those layers of unwanted clothes, sliding into the comfort of the beloved dormitory sofa in nothing else than a slimfit leggins and a blouse. If you take Becky out shopping with you, she'll frown upon 95% of what she can find on Seoul's shops. If you get her into a grunge shop however, you'll have a hard time getting her out of it again. In general, Becky's style goes from elegant chic to rebellious grunge. If she feels like it, she'd definitely combine those two styles at any given opportunity. About her hair? It's either up in a very simple ponytail or she just leaves her hair be and adds a beanie to it.

i am who i am. but why do people tell me to be different?

The story of how Rebecca Bowling became the Leader of a K-Pop girlgroup

let me tell you a story

Once upon a time, there was a British girl that desperately fell in love with a Korean exchange student. Those two married and had a daughter they raised with much love in hope that she'd be above discrimination of gender, ethnicity and ual preferences, facing all these dificulties as a multicultural couple just a few times too often. Yes, Rebecca Bowling grew up in an environment where she learned that every individual should be exactly that: individual. Same couples holding hands, mixed-race children, women with the same professions as men, that's how little Becky was taught life should be. And that way of living is deep anchored in her very being and basically everything she thinks defines her. So dressing differently, having her hair whatever style she likes and walking with her head high up, meeting eyes with each and everyone was the way she encountered life.
The response was not always positive, however. Way too many people weren't as open-minded as her. And those people laughed and trampled over her. That's exactly how much you can do when you're a nobody. Becky soon understood this principle of life and knew that if she wanted to change things, she had to become someone to do something. Like Johnny Cash she wanted to make an example of how people should act towards each other, how they shouldn't be as judgmental as most people these days are. To Rebecca the best way to do exactly that was music. Music was a way to touch masses of people (and heck, most mainstream music nowadays is such bs, can you see her shaking her head right now?), so from very young she started to focus on her voice, singing and of course the writing of meaningful lyrics.
For a long time her parents watched their child with much agreement and even pride. She overdid it a little still when she joined an activist group at the age of 18 and did things that... weren't all that legal. You wonder what? Well that will forever be Becky's dark, dark secret as now that she's an idol nobody shall ever know about this (let's just pretend she never almost ended up in jail). Anyway... her parents soon questioned their way of raising their daughter and wondered how they could get her out of her a little too radical ways of thinking. So what they did was sending her abroad for a few months. At least that was the original idea. Rebecca never went abroad and her parents thought that spending a few months in an environment like Seoul, she'd grow a little out of her views of the world. Maybe her father's sister could do something about her.
Rebecca felt betrayed. So betrayed. Being sent away by her own parents to her felt like the worst thing her parents could ever do to her. She felt as if she was an abandoned puppy that was too hard to handle, thus given away with ease. And oh boy, how much she hated Seoul. Seoul to her was the worst cultural shock ever. All those same faces, all those same bodies, all those same clothes. Not to mention how people were constantly talking to her. "You should loose weight. You look chubby.", "You should do something with your hair.","Why don't you change the way you dress? It looks horrible.", "Have you considered plastic surgery?".
It wasn't just her aunt. It was almost everybody who did exactly that and when Becky also noticed how people were living, how they were stuck in what was called 'Hell Joseon' by Koreans, she wondered how people could live that way. Two months she endured, suddenly appreciating much the multicultural salad bowl that London was, even though there were still too many who weren't tolerant enough towards minorities. But everything was better than Seoul where foreigners were frowned upon, where female foreigners were way too often seen as nothing else than ual objects, where loyalty and love for a person's character and not their looks were parts of a foreign language that nobody was willing to understand. Seoul was Becky's nightmare. But it gave her opportunities.
Two months had passed and Becky already packed up her things to return to her parents' arms when her aunt suddenly came up with the idea of Becky attending a Korean TV show called "I can hear your voice". As it occured, a friend of her aunt was working for the program and they were looking for foreigners who were able to sing. Becky suddenly saw her chance to change the world right in front of her eyes. She could try to become a singer in South Korea and make a goddamn awful country more open-minded to everything she believed in!
Long story short: She attended. And she became a viral hit as 'The English-Korean Girl that surprised everyone.' After becoming a Korean viral hit everyone suddenly wanted her to star in their variety shows. Due to the lack of her Korean language knowledge and also not being a variety person Becky couldn't see herself doing this kind of things, however. But that wasn't something that should stop her from her plans. Because thankfully the scouts were running over her place just too soon and Becky officially became a trainee in 2016.

let me tell you about myself

How I would describe myself:
mature, fighter by heart, ambitious, deeply in love with justice, not girly at all, persistent
How others would describe me:
rebellious
I rather call that disobedient, done with life ehhh... yeah, okay, I can live with that, moody What?, pretty much an outsider HEY! I only hate hanging with marionettes!, madame knows-it-all, can't shut up for god's sake Amen.

You still havn't had enough? Alright, then let's make a little clearer who exactly Rebecca Bowling is. Rebecca is a radical thinker, through and through. She calls herself open-minded but in fact has her problems with people who don't share her opinions. She actually cares a tad too much what others think and do. Not that she'd ever care what others think about her. It's just... very much in general what matters to other people. Becky is like a very persistent vegetarian who blames and shames others for eating meat. She's not a vegetarian, she does understand their points, though. But don't they overdo it sometimes? See. She'd totally judge them for being so pushy when in fact she's just the same. Still, she's doing this for the sake of justice. Her motives are pure, her being persistent the will for the good of everyone. This fighter heart can't be tamed. And if it's to be taken negatively in any aspect, she'll just let the complaints rain on her. She'd still never think of herself being too much, being too pushy, being annoying. It's the others who are too closed-off.
As you might already have noticed, Becky is one to think that she's very mature. She might even be right about this. Compared to many others of her age, she has a very different mindset and way to approach things. She is very thoughtful and wouldn't end up in rash reactions - except for if you touch her holy beliefs, she'll fight you then. Or if you treat her like a kid. Never treat her like a kid. Because you don't want to witness her fighting you like a very, veeeeeery stubborn kid. Believe me, she WILL fight you.
Truth be told, there are way too many things that will cause her to fight you. Call her a foreigner? She'll call you out for being a racist . And she won't stop. Like a raging mother hen she will follow you, hack on your toes and screach angrily because you dared to come close to her little, beloved chicks! She catches you gossiping? She'll call you out on that, too, just to run to the next person to complain about you and end up gossiping herself. Totally. But isn't that a different story? After all she'd tell you straight in your face what her problem is (To answer the question: No, it's not). Remember when I told you she's not that rash in acting? After this... oh yeah, I might take that back. And maybe she's not even all that mature. She'd still tell you exactly those two things: That she's mature and thoughtful. Yupp... even when others have to hold her back multiple times, so she's not running after the Showmaster to tell him what kind of discriminating, superficial piece of he is.
From other people's point of view, Becky comes off as a very exhausting, rebellious person who always carries that 'so done with life' expression. She'd tell you, that the so done with life part is true. But for the first part she'd sit down with you and discuss until the morning. She'd tell you that she comes off as rebellious because she doesn't obey to what people force her to do. Like telling her to be different from how she is now. Heck no! She's not here to be a people pleaser! She's here to open everyone's eyes! you big time, she will never change! And you can bet your on it, that you better keep every approachable mic out of her reach during interviews. Yes, interviewers love her. She's a handful and a scandal to wait for any time. Because everything she says on screen that exceeds the words "I'm Becky, the leader." will be controversial for the Korean audience. Most of the time she's not allowed to speak... unfortunately. She has so much to say!  Too much, even. To her surroundings this can be one of the most exhausting things about her. She talks SO much and most of it is just commentary on what others do, what others say and what she thinks about it. She's resident Madame Knows-It-All and it's annoying. Not that she'll ever notice herself. She finds it very fun to educate others on the 'western point of view'. Just that her point of view doesn't cover the overall western world.
That certain western point of view also makes her question Korean honorifics. Honestly? She hates them (like so many other things). Becky just can't see the point of being polite to someone who doesn't deserve it. No matter if that person was born during the stone age or if that person is the Korean president in person. If you're a freaking , she'll do being polite to you.
Overall, there's so much she thinks is wrong in Korea and it's safe to say that she doesn't like it. And because she doesn't like where she's living, she tempts to end up very, very moody. She doesn't conceil her feelings, ever, so others end up victimized by her mood swings. The result? People avoid her and she ends up an outsider.

Others about me in short:
A rebellious teenager who needs to be tamed.
Me about myself in short:
A mature girl that stands up to her beliefs.

   yeah, that's not it...

On her white horse, Becky thought she'd ride through idol life, being one to set a completely new statement that would change a nation. Oh yeah... that was a bit naive. Because being an idol was far from what she had imagined, even to her worst imaginations. Freedom has become a rare good. You want to eat what you want? Hah! You wished you could. You think you're allowed to write your own lyrics? EEEEEEEH! You missed the opportunity, BigHit is far too deep in the slump of success where they want to succeed, not to let their artists do what they want and risk being a burden to the company that costs only but doesn't bring in any profit.
Becky was brought in to BigHit because she was already a known face, even if it was just for a bit. The nation loved her, she was the lost half-blood daughter that could set the image of Korea being more open-minded by bringing in more and more halfies. Seventeen had its half-Koreans? Nobody is talking about them anyway. There's Somi? Yes, and she brought JYP enough attention, the nation even loved her foreign dad! Bang Sihyuk wanted the same for BigHit. A fresh wind that would grab the attention of masses. And how to succeed in this plan if not with a person that already had what he was looking for? And her voice, yeah, she got that voice that awed everyone.
But that voice is unfit for idol groups. Lee Hi, Ailee. People with those strong, outstanding voices don't fit well with the girly, high-pitched trained voices of girlgroup singers. Good thing still that the BigHit coaches were positive about forcing Becky into exactly that singing corner they wanted her to be in. Use your falsetto, sing higher and we add some autotune, then we're good to go. Becky hates it. Going full out on her singing? Thing of the past. She had to abandon everything she thought she could do before signing a contract that destroyed everything. One day, though. One day she will go solo and rip the audience and the company's asses for what they did to her. She already currently does with the singing coaches, being a rebellious bother to them, but when evaluations are up she can take a step back and for once do what they want. Just to not be kicked out of the company. Even if it hurts her so much. At least she can mess with the coaches during her singing sessions and use them as a ventil for her anger with everything that's going on.
You might wonder now how a person like Becky that promises so much trouble got to be the leader of the group? Business. Simple. The truth is that BigHit had no idea how to use her, so they could exploit her enough. Variety was out of question, they were too scared of her acting up in front of the whole world, her temper after all got very infamous at the company. Giving her too much center positions also wasn't a great idea since her dancing was by far not as outstanding as the one of the dancer line. What else 'meaningful' position could they have given to her then? In the end someone came up with the idea of shouldering Becky with the responsibility of being a leader, assuming that it would calm her rebellious side (... hahaha, nope). Yet, she has some points that speak for her as a leader. As she's absolutely no-nonsense, she's not taking any of the the others come up with. You want to act up? Guess, who'll beat up your pathetic afterwards. Okay, okay, she won't use physical strength, don't worry. But she'll totally destroy verbally. Most of her co-members are intimidated by her anyway. May it be the way she talks Korean or her strong opinions. Might be the reason why others follow her commands almost everytime when she pulls the authority card. People know they shouldn't pick fights with her. Fights with her are... tiresome. Because she's never backing off. Never.
Again a long story short: Becky doesn't really like idol life. Too many boundaries. Too much obligated changing. In times when nothing goes her way, she starts regretting leaving GB for the sake of being an idol. But then the little things keep reminding her why she's doing this. May it be love. May it be a little stitch of injustice she experiences once again. May it be the people she calls her friends. It's all a big whole, playing together that keeps her jumping up that white horse again to fight those demons called oppression and superficiality.

To put it into P!nk's words:

LA K-Pop told me:
"You'll be a popstar.
All you have to change,
is everything you are."

The scandalous things that show who I am

   things she would never admit

★ Sometimes, just sometimes, you can find her bopping her head to the latest K-Pop hit, even though the lyrics are the biggest bs ever. Red Velvet is singing about how it's okay to be jumpy in relationships in Peek-a-boo? She still finds herself humming to it and she'll slap herself for doing it. Becky is extremely critical about music, but if there's that freaking ringtone worthy melody, she'll be the first to know every single note of that annoying melody.
★ Talking about being critically into musics. She'll definitely appreciate K-Pop rappers if they know their . But that mainstream music is hell to her and she'll definitelly tell EXO that Growl sounded like 'Marching Nazis'. Even if it's bad-mannered and very insensitive. Somebody has to voice it out just once!
★ You might notice in the next section that Rebecca Bowling is a hopeless romantic. She dated guys before for the mere reason to explore adolescence and love but never really fell in love for real. And those freaking K-Pop songs about pure love (which aren't great or close the reality at all!) made her prone for those sick feelings that she doesn't want to feel. But heck, they get her into this sugarcoated mood of unicorns farting rainbows. Eww!

things she doesn't notice about herself

★ She'd love to claim she's bi. Or at least pan? Anyway, she'd much prefer if she wasn't bound to her freaking body screaming for males. Why body, why?! To her it'd make a lot more sense if people could choose their uality. But that's not how it works. The body wants what the body wants. She'd still totally date a girl just to prove she doesn't care about gender... just to figure that she's into guys and it will destroy her.
★ Never tell her straight to her face but Becky is a hypocrite. She wants people to be more tolerant towards each other but is the most intolerant to those who are intolerant, too. Do you know what happens when you try to fight fire with fire? Right. Nothing good.
★ She's getting very, very aggressive if not fed properly. Yes, give her food! If you don't give her food, she'll turn into the worst angry tigress on earth.
★ Becky is becoming more and more absorbed by Korea. Living for so long in such a very strong biased country is hard and uptaining your own beliefs even more. As an idol Becky often has no chance than to obey and that breaks her step by step until she gets broken entirely and will simply succumb to what the harsh Korean regime of beauty standards and opinions, as much as behavior tells her to. It will break her to the point that she doesn't know who she is and you can bet your on it, that she'll suffer depressions, confusion and a super huge crisis from this.

   things she's proud of

★ Becky loves P!nk and knows all her songs' lyrics by heart. Even those really bad ones when she debuted. She also likes independent Brit-Pop musicians like The Wombats.
★ If there's something she really is proud of, then it's her voice and her piano skills. You want to change something about the way she sings or plays? She'll fight you!
★ Eating Korean food the entire time can get tiresome to foreigners. And to some degree she's a foreigner, especially when it comes to food preferences. Becky never ate Korean food back home in London. So she'll very much appreciate any kind of AUTHENTIC foreign food she gets in Korea. But oh boy, is it hard to find real authentic foreign food there...not even pizza tastes the same. The chicken is quite alright, though.
★ When Becky is really stressed she often hits the arcade place nearby. She holds an amazingly highscore in most games and has a collection of stuffed animals she managed to get out of the claw machines that can be found everywhere around Seoul.

    she says

"And that's exactly how you guys ended up occupated by Japan."
  "Well... you, too."
"Have you ever considered yourself a racist ? No? Time to overthink that
  once more."
"It's alright you want to teach me how to sing when you can't even sing
  yourself. Autotune fixes everything, right?"
"What do I need to shake my for? I have a voice that hits higher notes than
  Mariah Carey."
"I'm not moody, I just have days where I'm less likely to put up with your crap!"
"You're almost as bad as Kim Jong-Un, you know that?"
"I can't believe I'm considering Donald Trump more intelligent than you right
  now."
"And one day those plastic bags will kill you."
"So what, there are girls liking girls and boys liking boys. Does it kill to see them
loving each other? Yes? Can someone bring me a girl to kiss right now, I need
to murder this imbecile person over here!"
"What... Americans are not allowed in this club?! I WANT TO TALK TO THE OW- WAIT! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME TO?! STOP!"
"In Europe things are different. In Europe..."
"Ignorance. Ignorance everywhere."
"Diiiiiiiscriminaaaation proclamaaaaation."
"You know that discriminating others don't define who they are. It defines who you are."
"Go to hell."

Family

— Jennifer Bowling | Mom | 45  | works for local newspaper
Becky and her mom aren't that close. They barely talk after Becky was sent to Korea. But even before that they never were ones to talk a lot. Maybe because her mother never understood Becky's extreme ways. She might have been the one who taught her to fight for sameness but sometimes she wonders if she should have just let her daugher grow up without that kind of influence on her thinking.  Nevertheless, Becky's mom is still Becky's mom and she loves her dearly. Even without all the talking. It's the unspoken love you share with a person that you can't relate to at all but that just... well, ugh, come on, love doesn't need to be explained!

— Kang Haemin | dad | 48  | bookstore owner
Haemin spent almost all his life working. He never really spent a lot of time with Becky and let his wife take over the parental duties. Becky used to think that it was very romantic of him to stay in London for his mother. But now that she lives in Seoul and knows how Koreans see foreigners, she sometimes wonder if he just stayed for the sake of marrying a foreign woman because he was sick of the very demanding Seoul women and not because he actually desperately fell in love with her mother. Becky doesn't want to judge her dad but something about this irks her now. They're happy together, still. Or that is at least what she wants to believe. So no need for an intervention. Right?

Friends

— The Halfie Squad | Chatroom Friends | Idols
The Halfie Squad is a Kakao Chatroom in which some of the halfie idols of KPop gather. They don't necesserally know each other personally but due to the existence of this chatroom, they text a whole lot and complain about Koreans pretty often. Not seldomly a few of those idols come up every now and then to have a chat with Becky when they meet her at a show. But she's not very close to any of them. After all she got added to the group all of a sudden after talking to Vernon just once.
Members of the Halfie Squad:
SVT's Vernon, Pristin's Kyla, Jeon Somi and Samuel Kim

— Amber Liu | Becky's Hero | Idol
Amber is Becky's personal hero. She loves everything about her and followes her on every possible social media ever. She gets weak when Amber's around and if asked who her ideal type is, Becky 99,9% answers it's Amber (the remaining 0,1% she thinks Jin but that's her secret, okay?).

to me you are destiny.

You know... this section...is dedicated to a very special person.
But shush, it's a secret!
Alright, let me tell you something about Kim Seokjin.

When I came to Korea everything I could think of was "Wow, this ."
 But then... you happened.

It was the first day at BigHit, actually, when Becky was fated to meet the person she declared as her very own match made by heaven. Of course, BigHit was playing its cards just too well when they wanted to get her to sign that contract that would bond her to them and nobody else. Everyone was thinking the same. She either had to sign with them or simply rot alone without a contract. Becky wouldn't even have agreed to checking out just one of the agencies. She had done her homework well enough to know that contracts of idol entertainments were no fun. Or at least they were running over every human right that she found way too important to throw away to stick with just a single slavery contract that would determine the rest of her entire life. But hormones, oh the hormones. She didn't reckon with the hormones.
It was 2016 and Becky had just blown away everyone's mind during 'I can see your voice'. She had the chance to check out all of the companies, even SM and YG had run over her aunt's house, sending out very persistent scouts to talk to her family and get her to join one of the big name companies. She didn't give in. She wanted to  be the rock that all those ships would crush into. But her family started to pester her, too. "Just go and check out one single company. You don't need to join them. Just go and take a look, pretend you're interested and then turn them down. They won't ever bother you again after that."
Becky gave in. And Becky by default, decided to check out BigHit. SM was too much into the visual aspects which Becky noped out immediately. YG was heavily hip hop-biased, something she just wasn't about. And JYP. JYP had groups that made her cringe so hard, oh hell no. BigHit seemed a little more open-minded, so why not them? Because they were evil masterminds.
When Becky entered the main building, she didn't know that BTS was at the building, too. And she was 'accidentally' put into the same room as them during lunch time. And 19-year old Becky couldn't resist the power of Bangtan. Or better said Bangtan's eating maching. Jin came, Becky saw, Jin conquered.

Jin was shoveling food into his mouth messily, grunting and making all those sounds that Becky usually found oh so annoying when having to eat together with Koreans. He just ate so beautifully, this angel. How could she find someone so pure, so... perfect in idol hell?
Oh yeah, hormones didn't do her good. She didn't even know this person, she had no idea who he was in reality. She just saw him eating there and superficially fell in love with him on first sight. Becky hated herself for it SO MUCH. Love at first sight? Nothing else than falling in love with looks of someone else. Shush, hormones, you little s. Who needs you anyway?! What did you do to her?! She refuses! And also... she doesn't.
Even though Becky had never been into idols and all the fangirlism,  she started looking up Jin's profile, masses of videos and fell in love with his dad jokes, his obsession with Super Mario, his sassiness when he had those moments, he declared he was the resident princess and his 'I know I am fabulous' attitude. There was so much wrong with the things she fell in love with but she couldn't help but become a squealing mess in front of her PC. Don't judge her, okay? She judges herself hard enough for this.

People in love are crazy ers... why am I one of them?

Love is making Becky so sick. Sick of herself. Whenever she's around Jin, she starts turning into a mindless chicken that just can't proceed. She looses the ability to speak, think, move, whatever. Her legs turn into jelly, her tongue won't obey anymore, it's horrible. And how come every time he talks to her and she could actually show him that she's of the clever kind, she happens to say embarrassing, dumb things?! There was this one time even when she drooled right in front of him and half of Bangtan was laughing their asses off because the saliva was dripping off her chin. EMBARRASSING!!!
But Jin doesn't even need to be around to make her world spin. It's just the mentioning of him that already drives her crazy. Jin? What is with Jin? When people tell her something about him or she reads about him on the internet, she even turns out to be jealous, especially when there are scandal rumours about him dating idol X/Y. How dare they pulling her beloved Oppa into such nonsense?! NO WAY HE'S DATING THAT...ARGH!!!
Becky knows that this all is absolute immature bs. She hates herself for it and will try to fight all of this. But oh damn... did you see the newest pictorial? Jin is so perfect.../swoons

Oppa... can you imagine being with someone like me?

What would you do if you fell in love with a labelmate? Right, you would totally start to figure the chances to get with that person. Becky doesn't know how to impress Korean guys. So what she does is researching. Researching Jin's ideal type. And then trying to be exactly that. He likes Scarlett Johansson? How much can she look like her? He likes a girl who can cook? She'll start learning all his Korean favorite dishes. He likes puppy like persons? Okay, let's see how much she can pull the cute side.
She even checks out how Korean dating works. 22 days anniversary, 100 days, 200 days, Pepero days, she now has them marked in her calendar. Korean dating texting works with asking if he already ate, telling him what you're doing 24/7, listening to what he's doing 24/7 and texting without break? WHY DID HE STOP TEXTING ME?! From the very chill European girl she step by step gets drawn into the world of Korean dating and its changing her without her notice. Don't pop her bubble. Don't tell her. She believes strongly that she doesn't change. It'll destroy her if you point out that she just dressed up in a super cute floral dress, put on those way too girly sandals and her hair is up in a bun to impress Kim Seokjin. Don't tell her. She might just die.
She might also die if Kim Seokjin ever acknowledges her existence, talks to her, exchange numbers with her, dates her, marries her... okay, this is going too far. But yes, she'd totally love it. Yet she probably wouldn't survive it. That's what you get for crushing on someone who you idolize.

Last Words

comments/suggestions — I hope that the way I applied is okay... I know I used this app a lot different from what you planned originally (like with the Trivia section that I changed entirely, but I think like all the things required from there are to be found everywhere in the app... like for dislikes the app is full of it. I know you need to look for them again and it makes things a lot less handy, buuuuuut... I hope it's okay that I changed a few things to make the app not too boring with repeating facts over and over again). Also I hope I didn't go too overboard with my idea of this character.

scene requestsI will let you know if Becky gets chosen and the story starts :)
