A surprising factor to her personality is how disorganized she is. Despite loving fashion, her clothes are often piled on the floor. She loses her phone everywhere, can't find where she left her glass of water, etc. It's endless. Sometimes, her passion gets confused for being overly fiery- which can make her seem quick-tempered, overpowering, or sometimes even rude. Probably one thing that pushes most people away is her narcissism. Despite her social front, once they get to know her, they realize how full of herself she is. She's the type to carry around a mirror with her, always fixing her hair or her makeup. Herself and her looks come first, sometimes even insisting that coordi unnies focus on her before they attend to other girls. Slowly, she's trying to change this side of her because she knows other people don't like it, but it's extremely difficult to change. emmy's most obvious negative is her gullibility. It's lead her down some bad paths in life, and although she's better at seeing the truth, she's still very easy to prank or make upset. She can sometimes be an easy target for teasing or hidden cams because of this.
background Moon emmy was born in los angeles, caliornia to father moon seungyul and Minhee lee. As an only child, she grew up in a loving household. although they were never very well-off, they tried to give her everything. this included extra lessons outside of school, including ballet and vocal lessons. It was during these lessons that she fell in love with music. it didn't matter the genre, she loved all music. rap, classic rock, musicals. give her a beat and she felt alive. at age twelve, she joined a 'garage band' that did covers of female rockers. Sadly, it didn't last long. at age thirteen (2008), her parents decided to relocate back to korea. this was shocking for emmy, who was, by all means, american. Although her mother was a second generation american, she had visted korea many times in her life, unlike emmy. being introducted to a new country, language, and culture was exhausting. Slowly, she learned the language and how to live, but it was hard to make friends and fit in well. Her escape, once again, became music. Although she only understood half of what they were saying, she discovered kpop, and also discovered little clubs here and there where she could sing and dance while also making friends.
With a pinky promise made amongst one of these little clubs, emmy and four of her friends decided to auditon for real companies. She had never been the best student, and ever since she first listened to music, it had been her dream to become a singer. Her mother supported the idea, but her father wasn't on board. lucky for her, her mother convinced her father it'd be okay. At age sixteen (2011), she began auditioning for companies. While the big three turned her down, she got a call back from Cube entertainment and starship. after the secondary audition, she was accepted into starship. This was perfect for her since one of her favorite groups was sistar. She began as a trainee in the beginning of 2012.

Personality One strong trait of emmy is her adaptability. No matter the situation, she is very capable of adjusting her manners and outside attitude to accomidate.
