APPEARENCE & LOOKS: So appearence wise and according to a lot of his close (about his looks) stated, "There's a reason why we call him Geomin. His face is just one of many." Despite that, Geomi is pretty satisfied with his looks. So, f*** them. Geomi is happy with his looks. He has a thing where his teeth jut out and create a unique mouth  shape that everyone notices, even his parents offered to get it fixed, but he didn't because he loves it. Also, you might think that he's pretty light and is close to a girl group member weight, but according to his BMI, he's at a good weight for his height. He also has pretty fair skin, but with lighting, it can come more tan than he actually looks. Plus, since some girls want some OHSHC guys coming out of their life, and dismiss his looks as soon as he walks up to them, y'all don't get to see his hidden abs that he kept away for the "Lucky One" (EXO IS LIFE) to see. Also, pretty obvious, but he doesn't have the best of vision, so he wears his glasses.

FASHION & STYLE: Also, you may not know about his abs because he doesn't wear that much fitting because baggy clothes are hella comfy. I mean, he does have limited supply of skinny jeans, and that's about it. The only time that he dresses up, is when he has a photoshoot and/or some other special occasison that is required to dress up.

Confident - With being the bundle of joy that he is, he's pretty confident about himself. As you may notice, he isn't going to be the visual of the group if he makes it into the final line-up. Even his friends joke around that he's not handsome and probably won't make it into the group because of that. Sure, he gets annoyed with it sometimes, but he thinks a bit differently about their comments. He takes their negative comments and turns it into something positive. Like, "Yeah, I'm not handsome, but at least I have clarification that I made it for my talent."

Joyful - Well for starters, Geomi can safely say that he's like a vitamin towards the other competitors. Because he's been raised in a joyful places because he has always been a very joyful child since birth and can be described as, "the life of the party" which he gladly takes the title. Geomi thinks that if you're not smiling, you're obviously doing it wrong. Some people may think that he's a bit y'know "unstable" because he's always smiling, but what can you do? He thinks life's great, why not smile about it?

Charismatic - When he "Hits The Stage" you may ignore him and focus on the more handsome guys, but sooner or later, you're eyes slowly starts to wander to where he's standing. You can't explain what compells you into him, but there's something that makes him seem eye catching. You can just see the fire in his eyes, that just screams "I came here and I'm slaying the stage". He just has that fire inside of him that you can really see at first, but once that boy opens up his mouth, you just start to notice him and he might probably become your bias wrecker.

Humorous - The guys not the light of the party for nothing. Because Geomi has some wit that never fails to make someone laugh. He doesn't like an awkward atomsphere where you can just sense the tension in the room. So he just voluantrily becomes the moodmaker in the group, that makes the other guys comfortable and feel like, "yeah, we're not a team and this is a competition, but we can atleast enjoy with each other."

Persistence - With being put down a lot, considering his looks that make others disbelive in his dream of becoming a singer, he has to build himself up. He knows that he has no right to say that he's handsome as Lee Minho or Kim Woobin, but he can admit that he's handsome as the one and only Jang Geomi, because there's only one.  So, he continues on that he's not handsome and that won't lessen his talent skills. That's what makes Geomi go on with his dream.

Vehement - Yeah, Geomi does describe himself as the happy-go-lucky guy out of the guys, but once you hand him a mic. He goes all out, and means business. Many are pretty suprised when they see Geomi practice singing for the first time, because that's the only time they see the serious side of Geomi. To Geomi, music is his escape from the taunts and the road gets rough. Music doesn't judge him, and he's very grateful for that, and treats it like it was his own child. (If that makes sense)

Impulsive - Sometimes with his wittiness, he can say some things that can offend people by accident. Because he had always said that he doesn't even know half of the things that come out of his mouth. He doesn't have much self control, when it comes to his action, so he always have to think if it's the right time to say this, but ultimatley he fails and goes a long and says it. So it would be great if someone monitors him.

Vulnerable - Despite Geomi being confident about his talents and on the lines of his looks aswell, but not everyone can be happy and confident 24/7 (but if there are people like that, then a round of applause from me). Sometimes the comments comes to him so often, it's hard to not forget them and sometimes it's all that he can think about. There has been one time where he considered going under the knife, so he would become "handsome". It was a really a vulnerable time at that point. He pulled himself out of the gutter, and made the decision to be happy. He tries his best not to go back to the dark place.

Gullible - He's a a naive little guy. Ever since he was young, it was pretty easy to make him believe in something, which is the biggest downfall about him. His parents even said themselves that it was hard to not tell Geomi that Santa isn't real. He also has a pretty sketchy childhood, because he had trust people to easily, which bit him the the later. The boy should have someone to tell him what's actually true and what's not.

Stubborn/Perfectionist - Like a little kid, he's pretty stubborn. But his stubborness comes out when he's pratctsing. Because of his vehement attitude, when he doesn't think that he's not up to par, he practcies untl he thinks he got it down. And his process takes hours and some other boys do tell him to stop, or else his vocal chords would be strained. But he would always tell them, "just a bit more. I almost got this down." which will take another hour.

Indescisive - It takes time for Geomi to make a decision on his own. Because the question "Maybe if" follows him around a lot and always wonders the possibilities if he had done something different. Which always contridicts his decision making because he wants to make the right move.

ELABORATION:
Give Love : Jang Geomi was born in Seoul, South Korea, but when he was 3 years old his family and him moved to Canada, for his dad's job tranfer. While growing, he was the only child, but his parents taught him from the young age of 4 that he will always make friends if he just continues to smile. Also, his love for music started when he was young because his parents would always play Korean songs throughout the house to feel in the silence. So in his neighbourhood, you would just see him walking down the streets, smiling at the people who passed by. Also, almost had a few mishaps when he walked away with strangers a few times, (thank goodness his mom's mom senses kicked up and caught him).

Oh, Canada~ - Geomi didn't have any problems with living in Canada. Because he loved pancakes with maple syrup and his french fries with gravy and cheese curds. Because he started school when he was really young, and as kids (in my opinion) they didn't see any color and accpeted despite his race. So, he made a lot of friends and among his friends in class, he was labeled, "The Class Clown". He loved living in the land of the true North Strong and Free. (Credits: "Oh, Canada" Canada's National Anthem). Also when Gangnam Style became a thing, and his friends were trying to dance a long with it, he be like, "Just stop. Let me show you how you actually do it."

Come Back Home - Unfortunatley, Geomi had to pack up his parkas and tuques and move back home to South Korea when he was 16. Of course he was going to miss his friends, but what you do, right? He was pretty excited and curious at the same time of going to another scool and in another country. Because he was still an infant when he was born, he had no real memories of when he lived there. But he was lucky enough that his parents lived there for decades, and in the last couple of months living there in Canada, his parents taught him enough Korean that he could be comfortable speaking in school. Except for the swear words. (He'll learn them later in life). 

Here I Am - Geomi was pretty excited about moving onto a new life in South Korea. Geomi was made fun of when he entered the class as a new kid, but luckily not all people are s, and made him feel actually welcomed. Geomi embraced as much as he was, but let's be honest he did have incidents where he wanted to change he was - appearence wise. But luckily, the friends he made, made him feel he was most handsome as he is. (No homo). He didn't have much friends as he did in Canada, but what he do? Not everyone likes him.

This is What Dreams Are Made Of - Geomi always sings whenever he was alone. With the excpetion that when he was little would have mini-concert in his living room that he would pretend be a stadium, with his audience being his collection stuffed animals singing made up songs, with made up words. But what made Geomi want to become a singer is singing Big Bang MAMA performance in 2013. Because at his age (which was like 16) he thought he looked cool dancing onstage and singing and controlling the crowd. At that moment, he was like, "That's it. That's what I'm going to do."

Geomi told his classmates friends, that he was going to become an idol and some other classemates who over heard him and opposed his dream and ust laughed at him. Because with a face like his, just being in front of the camera is his own concern. Because there are prettier and more handsome people than him just in auditions alone. It discouraged him, because he knows he's not that handsome as the visuals out nowadays, but what chanegd his mind is when one of his classmates said, "Yah! Shut up! Daesung's eyes has more shine in them than yours!"

Chasing Pavements - Geomi has been to audition to audition and he always gets the same answer. Rejection. Geomi isn't as stupid as he seems, he knows why he doesn't get in - his face. He knows that idols groups need visuals and he just doesn't have it.

Geomi has always considered to go under the knife to have more of the "idol material". However a voice echos in his head (he's not crazy I swear) telling him that if he does it, he'll let the bullies win, that makes him instantly stop in his tracks and disregard the crazy thought.

Soon Geomi took a break from entertainment auditions. But he still performed in singing competitions because he knows the criteria is different and that the judges won't heavily judge his looks. Geomi won some and losed some, but he always gain experience.

Soon at his 30th singing competition, a man claimed that he works at BigHit and that he could get him a spot to audition.

This is it. This is the moment that Geomi has been waiting for. So you best believe that Geomi ran with his little, but big gummy smile and auditioned. In his audition video he showed how much he wanted it and they saw that as well and now he's under BigHit.

LIKES:
- Big Bang→ It is safe to say that Geomi is loud and proud VIP. Because ever since he saw them at their MAMA performance. He looks up to them
- Poutine → Majority of his life, he was raised in Canada. So, you have to expect that Geomi fell in love with the bowl of golden fries, with the overflowing amount of gravy, and the ooey-gooey cheese curds. That's his life, and he would marry it
- Daesung → Geomi's ultimate bias is Daesung of Big Bang. He honestly thinks that he's one of the most underrated members. Geomi thinks that they are alike such as their bright personality
- Girl Groups → He's a guy - going on man. I mean, he's been through puberty and the only way to describe this "like" is just referencing the lyrics of BTS "War of Hormones"
- Ballads, Rock and Korean Folk Songs → It may sound like peculiar playlists, but that's whats on his music playlist. Typically, not a basic YG trainee representee, but he has his own color. Ballads because his mom usually played it through the house in the mornings, his dad played rock music in the afternoon, when he comes back from work, and Korean Folk Songs in the evening. (Fun Fact: When Geomi was a little kid and had trouble sleeping, his parents would play Korean folk songs to help him sleep)
-  Smiling → We all saw this coming sooner or later. Sure, when he may been called the "Neighbourhood Idiot" because he kept smiling even if someone was getting scolded or called out, but he smilied because it's just natural.
- Working Out → There are very few pictures of him exposing his abs. Many people don't know about them, but the fact that not many people know about them, makes him feel a bit mischevious. Because the time will come when the guys will have to show their physique, and everyone will be surprised when they see Geomi's abs

DISLIKES: (min 5)
- Bullies → Of course, because of personal experiences Geomi has a strong disliking to bullies. He finds it ridiculous that people just pick on somebody else for no legit reason
- Winter → The boy grew up in Canada and you all know how that works out. Canadian winters are no joke.
- Math → Despite (and not to be racist) him being Asian, he is not that great at math. He hates numbers. He hates numbers with laters. He hates numbers with letters and symbols the most
- Cold Drinks → Geomi never cared about how he treated his voice, bu ever since he started to train under YG he has been more concious about what he puts on his throat and since cold drinks is a no-no. (Fact: Ever since he started training under YG, Geomi hadn't had a cold drink in years
- Plastic Surgery → Geomi has to admit that he did consider going under plastic surgery to make his appearence appealing to audiences. But what changed his mind is thinking that if he did change his appearence, than he would know that people would just like him because he changed, not for what he is
- Doing Nothing → Because Geomi has started to work out regurlary and now, whenever he's just siting down, or just doing nothing in general, it makes him feel like he's lazy not doing anything that will improve his skills
- Contact Lenses → At least if he rejects plastic surgery, than he would make do without his glasses and wear contact lenses. He just always thinks that if he wears contact lenses that they will get lost in his eyes somehow and would never get it out
- Doing Aegyo → Unless you want to lose your eyesight than I suggest that you should not ask him to do anything cute
- Candy → When everyone was a child they love candy. Geomi was no exception, but again with training to become an idol, Geomi has to mentally train himself to restrict candy to come into his mouth
- Drama → Life is life, not K-Drama. He doesn't like a tense atmosphere, because when there's drama you'll never actually realize what you could've done right because you went left

HOBBIES:
- Playing guitar →  When training in a well known company with other talented trainees, Geomi thought it would be a smart move to learn guitar to make him stand out a bit more
- Practising Girl Group Dances → Rather than practising boy group dances, Geomi would spend his time practising girl group dances because he enjoys them more (Don't judge him...)
- Studying Korea → Despite Geomi living in SK for years he still studies Korean even though s told him that he's a fluent level. Geomi still studies it because there's always more to improve on
- Learning new vocal tenhniques → Geomi is growing up in the generation of Kpop that the talent a whole new leve; He's allways curious on how he could improve and sound a little bit better than the others. 
- Cooking → Of course, Geomi is learning how to cook because his mother will be ashamed to have him as a son if he cannot recreate her kimchi stew. So Geomi is working hard to hone that recipe
HABITS:
- Keeping his mouth open → Due to his unique mouth shape, it causes him to keep his mouth open. He does try to close his mouth, but it just always end up opening it by himself
-Brain Farts → Geomi has his mini-brain farts anyway. It takes him a moment to realize what's going on, and also when he talks, he has sudden moments when he just pauses and continues talking moments later.
- Smiling → Geomi always has a fix smile on his face. Some find it a bit creepy and some find it cute. Geomi just shrugs and say it's his face that he can't control

- Doing girl group dances → Being a big girl group stanner, he knows his way of girl group dances and is not afraid to show it
- Kkap Dance → Along with girl group dances, he is also suprisingly talented at kkap dancing and is not afraid to show it
- Geomi was about to debut with the stage name Gummy which was suggested by Bang PD himself however he threw the name aside due to already being a ballad singer named, Gummy
- He has only confessed to one girl in high school, but he was rejected for obvious reasons
- He graduated from Hanlim's Multi Arts High School and does not have any aspiration to go to college because of his dream to become a singer
- → He has a dog (Bullmastiff) named Leo, whom he had since he was 10 years old. Leo is 68 years old now, but still has a heart of a young pup
- Geomi's ideal type is probably Lee Gukjoo the comedian because he likes funny girls. He also loves girls who are not afraid to order baby back ribs over a salad
- In Buffer many of the "fans" say that Geomi is the "visual hole" of the group 
- He wants to become a top idol vocalist
- Geomi is insecure about his looks not being on par like the other members, but he just smiles because he knows he looks the most handsome when he does that

- Fans of buffer say that Geomi is the most inocent ad purest of the group. They keep reminding the members to help maintain Geomi's innocent mind

Mother Dearest - Jang Sooyong - 35 - charming, positive, supporting, scary (only in mamabear mode  - Before anything else, let's give Mama Jang a round of applause for blessing us with Jang Geomi. You can say that when Geomi was born that he was her mother's priority and is the main reason why Geomi is the innocent man he is today. You can say that she raised him as a bunny protected from the jungle. Also when she heard that Geomi was being bullied in school you best believe that she went mamabear on dem and let's just say many yeyes were o her at the next PTA meeting at school...


Father Dearest - Jang Goon - 35 - optmistic, nuturing, calm, supportive - Just like his wife, Goon is another pocket full of sunshine. Geomi looks up to his father a lot because he taught Geomi the most important lesson in life - Smile through the hardships. Goon taught his son that when he puts a smile on his face even through the hardest and toughest times of his life smiling won't make it seem that bad.


Bromance in Crime - Son Daewin - 20 - cheerful, open-minded, cheeky, talkative - Geomi and Daewon have been friends since Geomi's first day in high school in SK. Daewin immediatley befriended his new deskmate and their cheerful attitude bonded them to the hip. Daewin has bee Geomi's number one supporter and defender in high school. He blocked all the bullies and made some comments back at them. Daewin cheered his friend durig Geomi's time as a trainee. He boasted that his best friend was gonna be a celerbrity soon. He was one of the many people who likes to take of Geomi. Also, sometimes Daewin tries to get Geomi tickets to any shows to see his favourite girl groups... and support him of course, but mostly fot the girl groups.

LOVE INTEREST NAME (BACK-UP): Red Velvet Wendy (15& Park Jimin)
STATUS: They are close childhood friends, but Geomi used to have a crush on her when he was younger. Now that they meet again later years, Geomi gained a one-sided crush back
PERSONALITY: Wendy has always been that "Girl Next Dorr' kind of person. What I mean by that is that she's easy to approach and befriend. she always tries to show the best of herself to her fans and to others. She has a bright personality and also has her cute moments (even though she doesn't think she's cute herself). However, the music business can do some scary stuff to you and Wendy is no exception. Wendy gets insecure like everybody else, when it comes to her talking, singing and of course her looks. Although throughout all the hardships she keeps things to herself.
FIRST MEETING: Geomi and Wendy met way back when she first moved to Canada. They were neighbours and close family friends. When she eight, Geomi was four and you can say Wendy took charge of him like a bigger sister. She always told him that she has his back as long as he has hers.
INTERACTION: Like stated above, Wendy took care of Geomi like a bigger sister. When she caught wind of kids bullying Geomi she came in like a wrecking ball to put an end to it. She demanded an apology and wiped Geomi's tears with her hands. You can also say that Wendy was the first female (besides his mother) to tell that he's handsome. That stayed with Geomi 'till this very day. That's also when he started to grow his small crush on her. So when Wendy moved away you can say that he was crushed to see his first love leave, but they pinky promise that they'll meet again soon.

"Meeting again soon" was more like 13 years later. Because they soon meet again when Wendy debuted i Red Velvet and Geomi debuted under Buffer. They reconnected after meeting backstage at Buffer's debut stage. Wendy was so suprised when she saw Geomi all grown-up and not the little boy she left back in Brocksville

As Buffer's activites started to get more busy RV's and Buffer's schedule started to overlap with each other and if Wendy and Geomi are on the same program they usually joke around when they were on break. Geomi old feelings rekindled. However Wendy was oblivious to it.
ENDING: I kind of feel that Wendy found out about Geomi's crush on her and confront him about it. Geomi being put on spot would be a mess. Wendy took pit on the boy thoough because Geomi is very open towards the public that he doesn't have much luck with girls and dated him out of pity. However Geomi caught wind when he was backstage of a music show and overheard Wendy informing her members that she's only seeing him because he never dated anyone. Then when they meet again, Geomi decided to break things off with her because he didn't want to be a burden her anymore. Yet, like always Geomi walked out with a smile on his face trying to stop his tears from going. (I"M SORRY GEOMI, I LOVE YOU!)

PERSONA: Buffer's Pure Idiot - I know, it's sounds a bit mean, but the story behind it is really cute. Let's be honest, majoirty of guys are a bit more... hormonal and they're grown men (most of them) so they make some r-rated jokes. Which is completely normal, what's not normal is that Geomi does not get some of the jokes. Because the members know how clean and Geomi's mind is when they say r-arted stuff the Leader of the group closes his ears and scolds the members trying to dirty his mind. Also, Geomi is innocent because he was on a vacation to Korea during the time his health teacher was teaching the class about the birds and the bees, so... he missed the important stuff. So he's pretty much clueless of what's going on in that section and the finds find it adorable that he's cluess at times, but also playfully protective about keeping his mind clean.

BigHit: Unlike most new trainees, Geomi was actually excited and was just itching to start training. Many of the other BigHit trainees that he must have some outstanding talent to get in. Because he wasn't the prettiest flower of the bunch (also lowkeyeveryone thought that he was a little bit out of it because he was always seen smiling. But boy when he started singing that made everyone shut the hell up. 

After 2 years Geomi has been in consideration to be a part of BigHIt's new boy group, Buffer.

- Is Buffer Geomi considering PS - A picture of Geomi leaving a plastic surgery facility leaked on the internet. However clarification by BigHit(when he was still signed) stating that Geomi was having problems with his jaw and was seeking advice from PS doctors if surgery was needed to fix his problem
