Nari is a girl with a cute face that can be seen as unreadable if she doesn't have an expression on her face sometimes. ▸Nari is a very childish person. Most of the time it is acceptable and cute but sometimes it can be difficult. She gets especially childish when it comes to games that she plays or if she can't get certain things she wants. It is a trait she is fixing since she can't be like that with her job. Nari can be a clumsy individual. Although she did learn gymnastics and practices dance on a daily basis, she can be clumsy away from that. she has even fallen going up and down stairs before. ▸ Nari was the only child in her family. Nari was born to her mother and father Yein and Aron Oh. Her mother noticed that as Nari started to grow up, she had a fondness of dancing and singing whatever words she knew of at the moment. She liked to copy the moves she would see on tv from idols onscreen, cartoons she'd watch or music videos that would be shown often at home. Her family found it cute and endearing that they would record it for memories. By the time she was starting to talk full sentences, she told her parents she wanted to dance. It was then that they signed her up for dance classes/school close by to home. They taught her multiple dance styles and she showcased some during the recitals they would have. At around the age of 4, (when alll this was happening), her family and her were watching the Olympics on tv. She was facinated with the gynastics portion of it and asked if she could try it out as well. Her familyasked her if she wanted to stay in dancing or gymnastics and she asked if she could do both. Although they were a bit strapped for money, they wanted Nari to be happy so agreed to it and her father in turn got a part time job to help with the payments for a bit.
▸Nari was in gymnastics for a good 6 before she decided that she only wanted to learn dancing . Her parents were glad since they could focus on their resturant without having her father overworkk himself. She didn't know about his part time job he was working to help with payments for the training but they decided it was best if Nari never knew about it. They just wanted her to be happy. As time went on, Nari loved all the dance styles but was a big fan of Bgirl/bboying. She even entered some competitions for bgirl which she won either 1st or 2nd place for herself and the dance company she was apart of called "Seoul Dance".
▸It was during her middleschool life though that she wanted to join a company and fulfil her dream of becoming a dancer and in tern an idol. She learned that she loved singing as well and felt like it was a calling to her after recording herself one day and being able to envision herself on stage performing for a living. It's something she has wanted to do for awhile subconciously and now she was goign to go through with it. She told her family about it and although they were worried about it, they supported her like they always did. They took her to auditions when they were able to and if not, they would always make small dinners for whenever she got back. She met her friend Sakura around the start of middle school and whenever her family wasn't able to accompany her, Sakura was always there with her. She would be her small cheering section and if she was cut, sakura would still keep Nari's mood up. Eunji, her cousin from her mother's side would come down to visit her and come with to cheer her on at auditions as well. Sakura became great friends with Sunji and would always have conversations with her while they waited for Nari to come out. They had littlel girls day from time to time (when Eunji could come down to visit) to help Nari feel better if an audition didn't go her way but mostly, to just catch up with the two. . Although Eunji did want to become an idol one day, she didn't think about auditiononing till later on. Once she saw and heard all the stories of all the hardships that Nari faced, she wanted to practice on her own before even thinking of auditioning.
▸One of the few times she wasn't able to go with Nari to an auditin, she met Jaehwan. She didn't know it but he would become one of her closest guy friends. They met at SM and were in line for a good 2 hours before getting to audition. During the wait, Jaehwan and Nari began talking and getting to know one another. All their talking helped them lose all their nerves and they felt ready for their audition. Although they didn't make it, they both exchanged numbers and info with one another to keep in touch. They ate together before going their seperate ways for the day. They kept in contact though and Nari introduced Sakura to him. They became great friends and even created a chatroom for them as a trio and Jaehwan and Nari had one for themselves.
▸A few years later, Her cousin Eunji debuted in APINK. Nari called her cousin up to congradulate her and celebrate (if they had time). Nari and her family were there for her first showcase as well as their first concert that was sold out. She was so happy for her cousin that in a way, she became her goal. She wanted to be able to debut like them (apinnk) and gain fans as well. When Nari hugged Eunji after she came off stage, she cried with happiness for her. "I'm so glad you debuted! APINK is going to be famous" Eunji couldn't do anything but cry along with her and say thank you to her. She told her that when she debuts, they will stand on stage together and do a song in the future as well. They made a promise for that to happen. They kept in contact as much as they could with Eunji's busy schedule where they would talk about everything and anything as well as giving Nari advice to help her out.
▸It was just a few years later that Nari went to Starship to audition. They hadn't had an open audition in awhile so when the time came, she leaped and waited in line early for her chance. Jaehwan ended up going with her since they wanted to be part of the same company. They both made it to the 3rd round and were waiting for the news to see if they made it or not. Nari made it but Jaehwan didn't. She didn't know how to feel but Jaehwan was excited for his friend. He wanted to take her out to eat to celebrate but felt like it wouldn't be right. Nari invited him and Sakura to a celebration dinner that her family planned out once she informed them on the news. Jaehwan told her that they have to promise to meet each other onstage one day when they both debut and Nari agreed to it.

trainee life — Being a trainee for 5 years and 3 months, Nari began to learn her strengths and weaknesses in Starship. She began dancing even more (if that was possible) and getting better at bboying/bgirling.She even began learning how to add her own individuality while doing girl group dances and choreographing her own dances for every concept the company would ask of her to perform for her monthly evaluations. During this time aswell, She and the company wanted her to start learning to compose songs since she would be a lead singer for their upcoming debut for their company. It was a long proccess but she began enjoying writing verses for songs (she even helped write raps for her friends and members if they asked) to help get emotions off her chests. While being a trainiee, Nari was asked to be in a few mvs. She was in two from her company Starship as well as 1 from Jellyfish. history —Minhyun and Nari met because of Jaehwan.Her and Jaehwan had been talking for sometime and during their free time (hi mduring the pd101 show) they met up at a cafe out of town to hang out and talk like they usually do. This time though, Jaehwan said he would bring a friend because he said he felt like they would get along. Unbeknownst to Nari, it is because Jaehwan though Minhyun and her would be great for one another. Jaehwan told Minhyun about her and he wanted to meet her. He thought that If it wouldn't be as a romantic partner, than as a friend that he could get along with.
Nari waited at the usual cafe "Forest Cafe" and ordered her drink and small snack as she waited. She started playing an app as she waited and started to zone out slightly as she began playing. Jaehwan saw Nari from outside and went in with Minhyun following right behind hiim. As NAri bit her bottom lip trying to finish the level she was at, Jaehwan put his hand on her shoulder and scared her. She jumped instantly and could only glare at him as he began laughing and making fun of her getting scared by his shoulder touch. She was about to get mad at him and start saying some choice words at him (which he knew was all in fun since she was frightened) when she noticed someone standing next to Jaehwan and seeing the spectical that just happened. Nari pushed her feelings of anger away for a moment to ask Jaehwan about who this person next to him was and why he was there. She thought he looked familier but couldn't put her finger on it."Oh, This is my friend Hwang Minhyun. Minhyun, this is Oh Nari." As they shook hands and said nice to meet you , it clicked. "You're from Nu'est right?" She had been a fan of Nu'est for awhile and seeing him in person was a shock. She just said it out of the blue since she became flusttered and let out a thought she never thought she'd say to him. "Wow! you're even more handsome in person. Almost like an angel." She was embarrassed and said sorry but he could only laugh and pet her head saying it's alright.
That moment was the start of their friendship. She biased him before but after meeting him and befriending hiim, she fell in love more. She loved his eyes. They were sharp as she liked as well but showed more emotion if you looked at his eyes closer. His lips was something she liked. She never looks at lips on people but on Minhyun, it was inevitable. It just was cute and perfect in her eyes. She fell in love with his personality and how pure and caring he could be. He cared for his friends more than he cared about himself most of the time. She also loved his voice. It just had a calming affect on her whether it be when they talked, he sang to her or she heard his songs herself. It just had a calming affect.
Interactions & Closeness — Although they both opposite each other in some aspects of their personality, they complete each other as well. Because of Jaehwan, they met and were able to keep in contact as well. They would talk to one another on apps from kakao to snow (since they could use filters to look adorable or wierd), as well as sns sometimes . They would help promote one another (although minhyun needed no promotion as it was) . They were in constant communication everyday. (as long as they could at least).
In person though, they had to keep their distance sometimes because Minhyun was always being interviewed, watched and etc. It was only backstage when they could let their guard down and just be talkative with each other. They would sit next to one another and just talk as if they hadn't seen/talked to each other in forever even tho they sometimes just talked that morning. They would be seen taking photos together and being slightly touchy (you could only tell if you were with them the whole time).When they would wait for announcements to see who was 1st place, they would talk to one another and tell jokes quietly just to see who would break first from their reserved appearance on television. Other times if they were ever in the back section, they would catch confetti and try to inconspicuously throw it at one another to see their surprised reactions.On variety shows if they were on together, they would say they were friends for awhile and just say how they were introduced. It would either be left at that or they would ask how close they would be. They would say they were close friends and during the show, it would show since they would make one another laugh, tease one another and such. They do clarify they are only friends so they dno't get antis or any hate. After a long day no matter what, they will send each other good night texts before heading off to bed and would send good morning as well.

Minhyun and Nari would be in constant contact to the point that Jaehwan got annoyed of Minhyun talking to him about his best friend. It got to the point that Jaehwan began playfully threatening them about exposing their crush on one another unless one confessed first. Minhyun had wanted to confess and him bothering his friend about it made it an easier decision. With Jaehwan's help, he would confess to her in a cute yet romantic way. btw, example of text that Jaehwan and her send one another involving the slight exposing of the crush theme (scroll up on the photo and yes, that is her text wallpaper that only she could see).

— Yoko Minhyun | Since Nari is a big fan of Anime in general, she is a big fan of yu yu hakusho especially. Yoko Kurama and kurama is her favorite character in the show and since he is a fox there, she found some similarities between Minhyun and him and gave him the nickname Yoko Minhyun. All Minhyun did was chuckle at it since he has seen the show before as well and agreed to the nickname. He calls her Yoko Nari as well to match
— angel |Nari has stated to Minhyun before that he looks like an angel (many a few times as a slip of the mouth.) he just chuckles at her words and pats her head before saying thank you to her.
