Background:
Yebin came from a nice home with parents who loved her at first. But as it usually happens in cliches, being rich always comes with a price.Parents who show up once in awhile and being raised by a nanny who loves you does have it's perks sometimes but other times, it would get lonely. She was a vibrent child. She likes to make friends and since the lack of affection from her parents made her want to have friends around her more, she exuded a charm that helped bring people to her. Although it seemed okay at first, eventually some bullying ensued because of how well off her family was. She got bullied for some time as she entered middle school but did her best to make sure it wouldn't phase her. Without her friends by her side, i don't think she would have been okay. She would spend holidays at home with her nanny who became like her real mom. If she wasn't able to stay with her nanny over the holidays, she'd have her closest friends over or she'd stay at their place.
Once they entered high school, the tables turned. She was no longer bullied by others. She was one of popular kids at her high school which she never understood why. Everyone started being kind to her but she never trusted most people after what happened in the previous grades. She kept to her small group of friends until she met her high school boyfriend. Her friends tried to warn her that he had a reputation of leading girls on and leaving them once he got what he wanted but she always tried to look at the positives of everything, even people. Everything was going well until she caught him cheating on her with a girl from her class. She caught them afterschool in their English classroom together, as she went to go retrieve her books for her homework assignments. They heard her coming in and they stopped but the damage was done. She went into the class room, got her things and left in a hurry. She promised herself that day that she wouldn't cry over a guy like that again.
Being from a city that is full of guys who like to charm their way into girls hearts, Yebin wanted to flip the script. She wanted to be the one who charmed her way into guy's hearts and leave right after. Since she was leaving to college, she decided to have a fresh start there. She didn't know it then but during her freshman year, she would become a party animal. While she did keep her grades up, she would be going to campus parties almost every week. She eventually did gain a reputation during this year which stuck to her throughout her college years. She didn't mind that if she was honest. She was just living her life but when if came to her friends and those close to her, those were the opinions that mattered most. She always stayed true to herself when it came to how she was with her friends.
Although she was starting to live her life, she wanted to get a part time job since she never really had one. She applied on campus and off until she finally get a job offer at a coffee shop close to campus. She enjoys coffee so she felt like it was home. During one of those times at the coffee shop during the beginning of sophmore year, she always wondered what she wanted to do in life. Her friend Iseul was actually the one who helped her figure out waht she wanted to pursue. She always liked dancing since she was a child and would like to go out to dance even now. She just never thought about doing it as a job or professionally. While one of their daily talks, Iseul brought an application for Yebin to fill out for a upcoming studio called LJ dance studio. She filled it out on a whim and went with Iseul after work to turn it in. It wasn't till the following week she recieved a phone call to come in for a interview and to show a 30 second preview of her current skills. That week was one of the few where she stayed in and booked practice rooms to try to choreograph and perfect her dance. The day of the interview came and, to her disapointment, she was told she needed to work on her moves a bit more. They did hire her though considering they needed someone who they could see grow as the days went on. It wasn't what she expected but she did her best to practice and follow what the dance instructors told her to fix. Since the studio wasn't going to open for a few more weeks, the instructors wanted to help all their current employees with what they were lacking. Inbetween the setting up for the opening, they would have classes for the employees and would critique them every week so they could fix what was needed. Yebin over time became better at her movements, lines and adding some of her own flare into the dances. The dance instructors were pleased that they eventually moved her up to help co-instruct classes with them. From that day onwards, she realized this was what she wanted to do and kept on doing her best to keep on improving while having fun.

Yebin is caring to others. She is seen as a mood lifter or someone with a big heart to her friends. On the other hand, she was seen as a confident person in school and out. On campus she has a reputation which is something that usually would catch catches peoples attention whether she wants it or not. Other times though, it was how she carried herself. The rumors would be on the back of everyone's mind as they watched her walk with poise and with a smile on her face. She never understood why others would just watch her but as long as they didn't bother her, she was fine with it. Yebin is an intelligent individual. Even though she does things to the beat of her own drum, she always values her education and does her best to keep her grades up. She is always studying till late at night on some days to get what needs to be done out of the way so she can have free time towards the weekends. She is an encourager to those around her but to herself, she doesn't seem to do the same. She likes to lift her friends and those close to her up. She always will believe in them and will be by their side supporting whatever it is they want to do in the end. Yebin is someone who is trustworthy is what her friends would say. She keeps everything to herself when it comes to secrets that others have told her. She makes sure that if someone trusts her with something of theirs, she will keep it secret and safe.
While Yebin is usually the bubbly or strong person that others see out in the open, in the comfort of her home or with those she trusts, she has a different side. She is sensitive to most things including how others view her and their emotion they feel when with her which is a reason which she keeps up her appearance even if she isn't in the mood too.She also has a persistant side when it comes to mostly everything in her life. It can either lead to a good thing when it comes to classes or bad when it comes to herself and looks.She is very insecure about herself. Although those close to her try to get her to be confident in herself, it doesn't help much. It did till the bullying happened and it stayed in her head. She has gone to the point of buying loads of beauty items to keep her face looking youthful, started excersing ta least 3-4 times a week to keep her shape as well as diet most of the times too. When things get too tough for her or when she is able to have moments to herself, she becomes unresponsive for awhile. It can be small like not answering texts or calls for a small period of time while other times, she will space out and be deep in thought. She thinks about everything during this time, from what she has to do later to things she is stressed out about or even why she is feeling anxious or feeling slightly depressed. Those unresponsive moments eventually fad away but come back every once in awhille.
Growing up, Yebin learned to be self relient and always find ways to do things on her own. Although she has learned to rely on others for help, she still likes to do what she can on her own before asking others. She can be a little blunt at times. She is the friend that will let others know her opinion if she is asked for it. Although she will do her best to word it in a way where she could get the point across nicely, with those she isn't close to or like she will say it bluntly. She doesn't sugar coat things when it comes to though she isn't that close with which in turn can get her in trouble but most of the time, she knows what to say and how to say it so she can get her point across without consequences following her. Yebin is known to her friends as the sweet girl. She does things that she hopes will make her friends happy and smile. Whether it be something small like writing a handwritten note, to baking them something they love or helping them whenever she can, she just likes to make her loved ones smile. Those who have seen Yebin at least once, have called her vain at times. She does feel insecure with how she looks so she likes to check on her appearence whenever she can. She likes to make sure her hair is sitting right, her make up hasn't smudged her outfit is alright to even something as small as if her accessories match her outfit. This doesn't happen often but she will check on her hair or make up when she passes a mirror or something reflective. She won't spend more than a few seconds to a minute fixing what is out of place before moving on with what she was about to do.

Yunseok was born in Jeju and is the oldest of 3 siblings. He has always been the one his siblings looked up to so he did his best to take care of them and teach them right from wrong. He always kept an eye on his siblings and did his best to help them out whenever he could from homework, to cooking their favorite meals or even reading them bed time stories if requested. As he grew up, he kept up his grades as best as he could while doing some extra curricular activities to put on his college applications. He still kept true to his word and helped his family and siblings with what they needed or asked but little by little became independant. Once he was accepted into college and moved closer to the location, he applied to jobs around and on campus to help make extra money for bills and for personal use. He had a part time job during freshman year, off campus at a fast food place he and his friends enjoyed often. As the year went by however, he realized he wanted to have a job that focused around dance and applied to some of the dance studios near by. He It wasn't until late sophmore year going into junior year that he beagan working at LJ Dance studios. He helped as a choreographer and once in awhile, a dance instructor.
Yunseok is known as a calm guy. He has never really been shown or seen angry or irritated. If he has been, it usually looks like he is doing it in a playful way. When he does get angry, it is usually in a stern voice which commands the room he is in. Besides those rare moments though, he is always seen with a smile and in a mellow/playful mood. His friends usually say he is an affectionate guy with them. He is usually seen showing his affection by hugs, high fives, or by subtle touches like messing someones hair up or by calling someone cute all the time. When he is drunk, it's raised to level 100 with him. It can range from hand holding, cuddling, and rarely a peck on the cheek. That has only happened to a handful of his friends but those who do get pecks are seen as the ones who he really trusts and cares for. While Yunseok is usually seen as a bright person, he is often seen as a finicky person. He likes things to be up to his standards so he can be a perfectionist at times, especially with dance. He knows everyone has their version of what they consider to be of good standards but with him, he wants to make sure he can reach his level of perfectionist. He will work on his school work or dance routines and miss meals or pull all nighters just till he feels likes it's acceptable to himself. He is also seen as a people pleaser to him and his friends. First Meeting:
- To be honest, she first saw him in the Echo cafe but, she only spoke to him while taking his order and for small talk if needed. The first time Yebin and Yunseok actually met was at a party off campus. She was used to guys hitting on her or if things worked out for her, a one night stand. She never gave out her real name though since that wasn't what guys would be interested in after a few drinks. She thought Yunseok would be that, a one night stand, where she could up and forget about everything for that one fun night and go back the next day with a clean slate. That didn't happen though. She didn't expect for him to be the one helping her get out of a messy situation that one of her one night stands would bring. He came in to save her from a loud and very hands on guy that wanted a repeat from the last party she met him at. Yunseok went inbetween Yebin and said guy and pulled her out of a messy situation that involved Yunseok's friends being a baracade. Yebin and him retreated outside and away from the mess. Once outside, Yebin thanked him for helping her out. She thought, at first glance, that Yunseok was a resident boy by appearance but she was so wrong. She asked him if he wanted to go and have some fun as a thank you but was turned down. She must have looked confused since he went on to explain how he just wanted to help her out with nothing in return. That was new to Yebin since most guys wanted to screw around and leave right after. She smiled and ended up talking wiht Yunseok for the rest of the night.
SITUATIONSHIP/LOVE STORY:
After the night of the party, Yunseok and Yebin became best friends and were always by each others sides. He was there for her from every small bump in the road in her life to major ones and vice versa. Although she liked his friendship, she always wanted something more yet didn't want to ruin or lose what she had. So in turn, she kept on going out and trying to find someone to have fun with and keep her mind off of Yunseok. After her endevors, she would always call him up to just see what he was doing or stop for a visit. He always knew what just happened by just one glance. He always gave that disapproving head shake after petting the top of her head as she walked in and sat on his couch, him following soon after to sit next to her.
After one of her escapades in senior year, she met Haneul. He was a regular at Echo cafe and although they just exchanged pleasentries, she had a small crush on him and his physical appearance. Unexpectantly, they had a dance class together that semester which took them both by surprise. Since they knew each other from the cafe, they both decided that it wouldn't hurt to be paired up for the first assignment. They eventually would be paired up for dances including the midterm and final group projects. This lead to them spending a copious amount of time together that lead them to going on a date or two once they had extra time to spare. Yunseok began seeing Yebin smile more often and found it intriguing. One of the rare nights they both had free from their hectic scheudles, Yebin and Yunseok had a night in where they relaxed and drank moderatly while spilling information from the semester together. When Yunseok brought up how she had been smliing more often, Yebin blushed and felt like she should talk to him about the current situation. Although she didn't like Haneul as much as she liked Yunseok, she thought about maybe giving him a chance to help her move forwards. Although Yunseok's smile faultered slightly at her words, he suported her decision and said to go for it. He only wanted Yebin to be happy and in his eyes, if it wasn't him, he would support her wholeheartedly. Yebin and Haneul began dating soon after while Yunseok stayed by her side as her best friend.

Although everything in Haneul and Yebin's relationship seemed well to others, Yebin saw how messy the relationship was going behind closed doors. After being together for 2 years, she started to see all sides of Haneul and suspected he was cheating on her during the summer. she thought maybe she was overthinking it since he was only really at work then would be at home with her right after. It wasn't confirmed until late one night when Yunseok showed up soaking wet outside her door. He came into her place in a hurry and told her to sit down and not worry about himself. He showed her photos he took of Haneul and a friend of his, that he had been hanging out with, in a heated kiss. She didn't know what to say at the sight of the photos besides having a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomache. Yunseok started telling her how he was going to say hi to him but stopped when he saw Haneul run towards his friend, embrace her, then followed up with a kiss. Once the story was over, he looked up and saw the disappointment in Yebin's eyes. His hand automatically went to hold hers and smiled weakly when she squeezed his back. Haneul wasn't coming home until tomorrow afternoon so she asked if Yunseok would stay over with her. He agreed and for most of the night, they just held one another in a source of comfort while he held her wanting to protect her. To help calm her mind down around midnight, they both drank some alcoholic beverages to help the other relax. While the mood became playful and somewhat normal, she confessed her feelings as of late and how she always suspected there was another person. Although she played it off that it didn't affect her, he knew better. To lighten up the mood, she started saying her feelings about Yunseok and how she was glad to have him in her life. One thing lead to another and they shared a kiss in the heat of the moment. Although they both pulled away and had a shocked expression on their faces, they both didn't feel to bad about it. To them, that kiss felt right. It felt as if years of feelings were felt through that kiss and they soon shared a few more chaste kisses after. When Yebin confronted Haneul about his cheating the next day, he confessed to what happened but didn't break off the relationship. He wanted to keep what they had so he asked for another chance to which yebin agreed to, knowing that she would regret it.
During the next few months, Yunseok and Yebin kept their relationship a secret while Haneul and his "friend" did the same. Although they acted lovey dovey in public, behind closed doors they felt awkward and never slept in the same bed as one another. They barely enjoyed being in the same room with one another yet they were trying to make it work. During one of their outings, Yunseok and Yebin went to a park to spend time together and to their surprise, Haneul and his friend were there too. They ended up siting with them and started talking it out insead of keeping up with the charades. Yebin and Haneul ended their relationship after that conversation and if felt as if a weight had been lifted. Although some tears were shed at the inevitable goodbye, it was a relief for both of them. Haneul introduced her to Krystal, the girl he was currently with, while Yebin introduced them to Yunseok. Haneul couldn't help but laugh and say he knew it was bound to happen to which both Yebin and Yunseok just looked away from one another and blushed. They stayed to talk for awhile more before leaving to continue their date.
Although they were dating for the past 2 weeks, Yunseok wanted to make it official. He asked her friends if they could help and keep her out for most of the day whlie he set up something for her. He spent the whole day fixing the living room up for her that he waited in anticipation in his semi-formal wear on the couch. Once he heard her outside and fiddling with the lock, he stood up and walked toward the door. When Yebin opened the door, she was in shock. The floor had rose petals leading to where Yunseok was located while balloons with small photos of them attatched to the strings were covering the walls on either side of them. example x. Behind him, he had made a fort in the living room for them to watch movies together. x He had a bouquet of her favorite flowers, sunflowers and roses, in his hands and he waited for her to meet him. Once he gave her the flowers, he confessed to her and properly asked her to be his girlfriend. After years of crushing on her best friend, she was finally able to accept and be with the man she had always loved.
