When bidding for the main advertisement for the front page, do you think people equally see it on the weekdays and weekends or are there more like going to get views in the weekends? I guess what I'm trying to say is, is there a "best" day to try and advertise?
I feel like weekdays would be better?? Because I reckon people might be busy going and on the weekends, but they might still procrastinate and stuff during the weekdays so they'd just come on AFF? I'm not so sure though, bc it's just what I think??
I've done both, and tbh, I think it depends on how well you write our your description and whether or not th genre/band appeals to people. I advertised my first fic on a Monday and got over 1.2k subs.
The one with calendar ad? I recommend to advertise it on weekends since there are more users log on, but the competition to get advertised on those days may quite tough. I did advertise my story on Rated-M section on Wednesday and managed to gain 150+ subscribers.
