Korean - Chaotic - He has a decent vocabulary, but his grammar is a disaster. This is what happens when you're forced to learn a language you have no interest in just in order to be able to communicate with your distant cousins whom you literally couldn't care less about.

APPEARANCE His cute and innocent appearance is a stark contrast to his chaotic brain. Practically resembling a puppy, Remi regretted ever being insecure about his mixed English and Korean features because some people keep telling him that it's his charm (while the bullies for it but he tries to ignore them). His straight brown hair is always kept at short to medium length. Remi’s eyes are on the bigger side considered to the asian eyes, and they turn into crescents as he laughs. His skin, unlike his family, isn't pale and rather a bit tan from spending time outside. However, his baby skin is effortlessly flawless. Also, he's short (133cm) and looks young for his age. Many people mistake him for being a 6 or 7 year old due to his tiny figure, but call him tiny and he'll crush you. Nah, just kidding, he'll just throw a Dungbomb under your table during dinner :)

FASHION Since Remi dresses rather improperly, let's elaborate it here. He came to school looking like one of the smartest students in his year, but his true identity will start to unravel within the first week. The uppermost button on his uniform shirt is always ed and his tie would loosen up especially after a round of playing Quidditch. His shirt would often come out of his pants, even though his pants and belt remain perfectly intact. As for normal clothes, he just wears whatever he has in his closet, which mostly consists of plain t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, and a collection of beanies that leaves many speechless.

If you're thinking that Remi is an tiny alien in disguise, you might be true. Some people wonder why such a four-dimensional human being exists, but the others wonder why they haven't met such an amazing person before. Amazing? Those are his words, not mine. He's not that cocky to begin with, but likes to joke around saying he's the most handsome person in the mirror when in fact the mirror only shows the reflection of himself. Remi has a sense of humour that’s very lame to most; always spending five minutes laughing at every single joke told to him no matter how bad it is. After he finishes laughing, he would tell the joke to his friends and even if they don't find it funny, Remi will laugh again anyway. 


Most of the teachers are practically so done with his pranks and jokes during classes. During the Q&A sessions, he would always raise his hand as if he's about to ask, but he was just going to crack a pun instead. He literally has no common sense, being unable to read a situation unless he had encountered a very similar situation before. Despite being one of the loudest students in the class, he doesn't cause much havoc, which is good because he probably wouldn't even know that the responsibility is on him. He does almost everything (except Quidditch) half-assedly. 


The most amazing thing about Remi is that he literally sees everything in everything, if that even makes sense. If others don't see a way out, he'll make one in the most peculiar and outrageous way that make people go “Why didn't I think of that before?”. Whenever in doubt such as the questions that he doesn't know the answers to, he will either eenie meenie miney mo it out or pick the answer that he likes the most. He tends to get wishy-washy, often using last minute decisions that might turn out good or bad depending on his mood.


Because we've elaborated on how hilarious yet annoying he is, let's move on to his soft side. Remi doesn't like showing that he cares for others especially his brother and close friends. Mostly he would pretend that he doesn't know or doesn't care while he always tries to dig information as much as possible (referring towards a certain situation). He would try to help if he thinks he would do good, but will keep an eye and make sure you won't fall if he's not confident enough. He literally has no temper; call him stupid all you want and he won't give any flying . This quality comes in handy when he's dealing with bullies.

BACKGROUND 
Born in Puddlemere, a place closely associated with the Wizarding world, to a family of three, Remi had been raised being surrounded by wizards and witches whom all lived in the same community along with his close relatives, the Abbott’s. Being in a Wizarding community, one would say Remi is clueless about anything related to the Muggle world, but in fact it’s the total opposite since his Mother would drag him and his brother all the way to South Korea to visit her family during the summers.

With his father being an Auror for the Ministry of Magic and an original member of the Order of the Phoenix along with his uncle and his wife, Frank and Alice Longbottom, and fought against Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War, he was rarely around when Remi was growing up and spent most of his time in work. Thus, making Remi’s relationship with his father strained. And especially after his uncle Frank and aunt Alice were tortured into insanity by four Death Eaters and were placed at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, it’s safe to say that his father was never home after that event but if he was (which’s really rare) then it’ll just be awkward.  

Ever since he was young, Remi had always been a troublemaker. Whether it be destroying someone's block tower or pushing the swing too fast, there's no week without Remi causing havoc. However, he literally has no shame or ego that he'd apologize right away. He's surprisingly easy to control as long as you keep an eye on him aaalll the time, otherwise he'd get lost by chasing a butterfly or getting into trouble with another kid. It was already obvious that Hugo is the ideal son as opposed to Remi, and is always treated better due to that, but the younger brother doesn't care. It's not like he's going to get overshadowed by his brother because unlike Hugo, Remi has more personality, and he’d like to think athletic talent too. Shortly, they were polar opposites despite they look highly identical.  

Remi was bound to get his letter to Hogwarts with his older brother being a student and both his parents being graduates from there; Father was a Gryffindor and Mother was a Hufflepuff. So when he did get his letter, Remi was thrilled. He had already planned out a year worth of pranks and mischief.

- When people know too much about him | Remi really doesn't seem like a mysterious person, but he's not that open with himself that almost everyone would only realize they don't know much about him if someone brings it up.
- Picking his nose | Whenever he doesn't understand what the teachers are explaining, expect him to slip his index finger up his nostril.
- Spacing out | He always looks deep in thoughts, but he could probably be thinking about what joke to crack in class.

-  Despite having the surname of one of the Sacred Twenty Eight, it’s a surprise to many to know of Remi’s Half-blood status. Some other Pure-blood families consider Remi and Hugo “a disgrace to the pure-blood surname”. 
-  He's been to the detention room so frequently that he has a regular seat by now.
-  Some day during their first year at Hogwarts, Remi and Tyler used the Freezing charm on the kitchen elves so they could quickly steal food from the kitchen and then ran away. The Charms club president was impressed (since they were first years and they weren’t supposed to be taught the Freezing charm until their second year), watching them from a far, and that's how he/she spent a month trying to recruit them to the club, but failed.  
-  Despises Death Eaters because of what happened to his uncle Frank and aunt Alice.
- Remi literally has the memory span of a goldfish, especially when it comes to names and directions.

1) His older brother, Hugo Longbottom, is the Gryffindor prefect, one of the brightest students, and popular amongst girls due to his good looks so his fame naturally passed to Remi. 
2) He’s one of the top students among the first years at Flying and surprisingly Charms. 
3) His dumbness and irrational mindset makes him human. Sure, he's a bit weird and different, but that's the point. 
4) Last but not least, HIS COMEDIC ATTITUDE.

 

FAMILY

Father, Herman Longbottom, 39y., Pure-Blood, Auror, Cold & Demanding, His father’s almost never around but when he was he always treated Hugo better than him. Always scolding him and telling him things like, “When will you grow up?” and “Learn from your older brother.” Though Remi couldn’t care less to try to impress him, but he does feel jealous whenever his father showed favors toward his older brother. So basically, Remi has daddy issues.

Mother, Song Jiyoon, 39y., Muggle Born, Doesn't work, Kind & Understanding, She’s a Korean who’s born and raised in London, though would visit her relatives back in South Korea every summer. Remi’s the closest to his mother. He goofs around a lot with her and is always smiling around her. They have a really close relationship and she gives him advice when he needs it and scolds him when he causes trouble (which is constantly). Just hearing her voice makes his day better. She's protective of her sons especially Remi and calls him "my baby boy~" She would send an owl to check up on her sons and tell them about her days every chance she gets.

Older Brother, Hugo Longbottom, 16y., Half-Blood, Hogwarts Student, Gentle & Serious, Often being the victim of Remi's mischief, it's a question on how he remains serene and loving towards this little his younger brother. When Remi entered Hogwarts, the professor's immediately noticed their appearance resemblance, but are questioning if they really are siblings because they're legit polar opposites. While Hugo is smart and studious, his brother is crazy and playful.

FRIENDS

Cousin & Partner In Crime, Tyler Abbott, 11y., Pure Blood, Hogwarts Student, Loud & Loyal, With their families being relatives and being born and raised in the same town, Remi and Tyler were bound to meet and become close friends. Tyler tries hard to be funny wherever he is and is really loud. The fact that he tries hard to make everyone around him smile is just heartwarming. Many find his jokes obnoxious, but that's just who he is. Also, ever since he started hanging out more with Remi, the troublemaker hasn’t been that good of an influence on the other, and Tyler has went along with all of his best friends stupid pranks and mess no matter the consequences. 

OTHERS

Professor of Transfiguration, Minerva McGonagall, She's basically like his extremely strict mother here at Hogwarts. She'd scold him when he causes or gets into trouble, drags his to the infirmary when he stupidly injures himself, and etc. Most times, he reminds Minerva of the Marauder.

Potions Master, Severus Snape, Remi's like the source of Snape's stress and Snape's the source of half of Remi's detentions. Though that doesn't stop Remi from stirring up trouble in Snape's classes.

Flying Coach, Walter Crowell, Ever since their first flying lesson, Coach Crowell has been keeping an eye on Remi for the boy has got some serious talent in flying and is really open with his love for Quidditch and his desire to join his house's team.

Kitchen Elves, It's a love-hate relationship. Just the mention of his and Tyler's name causes the elves to scowl. The two boys constantly cause havoc in the kitchens by stealing food. When they're bored, they'd even sometimes spend their time talking to the elves,  who don't give two s of their existance and would tell them to go out but don't act upon it knowing that there's no use. Once, Remi told an elf a stupid pun and the elf was so done with Remi that he just hit the boy's head with a wooden spoon and told him to stop saying nonsense.

 

ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO HOGWARTS? Mate, I can't even begin to express how excited I am! I have so many pranks planned - /coughs and fakes an angelic smile/ I mean nothing.

WHICH HOUSE DO YOU WANT TO GET INTO? My parent's want me to be sorted into their houses, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, but I'm fine with any house. 

IS THERE A HOUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN? /shrugs/ I don't really care. Though I can't see myself in either Revenclaw or Hufflepuff..

WHICH CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO? Flying! And Charms too can be useful for pranks hehehe.
