— born into the go family being the first daughter amongst two sons and is the maknae. eunmi doesn't have any memories of her father as he passed away when she was just merely three years old, leaving their mother to be a single mom and the sole breadwinner. she's heard stories of her father from her twin brothers, doyun and seoyun, where he used to love taking pictures with his camera and often did so of his children. she felt sad flipping through the photo albums and often wandered what life would've been like if he hadn't passed away but there was no point in dwelling in the past.

trainee life. 

— eunmi entered the life of a trainee under pledis entertainment when she was sixteen. at first, she struggled with adjusting to the training system since it was all new to her. sure, the model industry is a little similar in regard but with her she was just a kid back then and so training to be a model was simplified. however, as time passed, she slowly got the hang of things with the help of fellow experienced trainees and her brothers' constant support and advice. she was thankfully a fast learner and caught on to instructions and suggestions that helped improve her skills. after three years of constant training and challenging herself, eunmi became a notable outstanding and charming trainee, pledis' legendary trainee, drawing others with her charisma, chicness, and all-round talent. all trainees had no doubt she'd definetly make the debut line if there was a girl group to be made. so, when it was announced that she'd be taking part in the survival show 'the rising' everyone looked forward to how well she'd do and if she'd maintain her golden trainee status.

pre-debut.

— dancing : eunmi is chosen to take part in studio choom's artist of the month where she dances to 'therefore i am'. she took part in choreographing.
— singing : to further prove herself as an all-rounder, eunmi also participated in the show 'unmasked singer'. the clip of her cover of all of my life by park won garnered a good amount of views.
— acting debut : since her trainee days, eunmi had been interested to get into the acting field and took lessons diligently. so when the opportunity finally came, she seized it, taking roles in web dramas and such first then venturing into bigger projects. officially solidifying herself as an idol-actress.

scandal. 

— pheonix’s goeun is anorexic : a false report. eunmi has reportedly been going on multiple trips to the hospital. at first, it had been assumed due to coming down with an illness. netizens have started speculating there's more to it after eunmi reportedly collapsed after pheonix's performance for inkigayo. she is later released from the hospital and gives her official statement, "no, i'm not anorexic, in fact, i love food. sometimes i just tend to overwork and forget to take care of myself. i've been going to the doctor for vitamins, but those would never substitute real substanance. everyone, don’t skip your meals and stay healthy!"
— pheonix's goeun is a high school bully : a false report as well. a little after their debut, an anonymous blog was posted that blew up through netizens about how goeun was part of a group in high school that terrorized the students to the point of self-harm. the poster claimed that their close friend was bullied by goeun and the group. they provided texts that showed goeun belittling and cursing the other students. this caused outrage amongst netizens and some fans. they started demanding goeun to be kicked out of the group. however, another blog came out defending goeun and stating that everything in the other blog is false. they claimed to have been classmates with her and can peg that she had nothing to do with the terror group and showed evidence that the so claimed texts by goeun are all fake and photoshopped. days later, hybe came out with an official statement saying that it was true that goeun attended that school but she had no affiliation with the terror group and asked for netizens to not spread and believe false rumors. the company even investigated the poster and sued them for defamation. despite goeun’s innocence, the scandal was quite a blow for a rookie group member. she should’ve seen it coming for with sudden fame comes a great deal of haters. goeun was angry and depressed for days due to it but her members did their best to cheer her up. after a couple of days of feeling down, goeun decided to put it aside, work harder than ever, and show the fans that she really isn't what the haters claimed she is.
— pheonix's goeun is dating : a photo of her initiating skinship and it being reciprocated by dongkiz' jaechan was spread online by a sasaeng. this caused a stir in both fandoms where fans were split. some fans kept stating that they're just friends as both of them announced their friendship multiple times before while the other half kept denying saying that its very unusual for a boy/girl friendship to be this comfortable with skinship without any feelings. the rumors and assumptions were put to a stop when both agencies released official statements denying any existing relationship between the two idols. after that, eunmi even opened up about the rumor in a live and repeated stating that she and jaechan are only really close friends, even almost like siblings, explaining that they both express care and closeness in the same form.

— the 'first time' eunmi met sangyeon was during their mutual friend's gathering. they decided to go for drinks with a group of friends and their aquintences. however, sangyeon notices eunmi look a bit taken aback when looking at him. he thinks maybe he's looking too into it and just brushes it off with a big smile as he shyly introduces himself. 
— the reason eunmi looks taken aback is because unknown to all but to her, her and sangyeon's very first meeting actually goes way back to two years ago. eunmi was sent by her company's acting teacher to an external acting academy for extra lessons where sangyeon also attended. sangyeon was running late to his class (blame the freaking long line at the cafe), so he was running through the halls. however, on his way, he bumped hard into eunmi's shoulder and ended up kneeling on the ground looking helplessly at his spilled coffee (his iced coffee that he waited half an hour for ;n;) he couldn’t waste his time grieving over the loss of his precious coffee and in his hurry to rush to class, he muttered a quick apology but didn’t hear eunmi worriedly asking if he’s okay. looking at the boy who rushed away without sparing her a glance, she couldn’t help but think that he's really handsome.
