Gabriela is the kind of person that usually behaves one way or another depending on how close or how well she knows someone. Out of politeness she's friendly and would talk to someone to just break the ice even though to her it may seem out of place and awkward. This leads to Yeon being easy-going as she would rather be relax and calm instead of uncomfortable and hostile in the environment. Luckily Gabriela is able to adapt in her surrounding without totally feeling like an oddball, although she doesn't mind being a wallflower at times as well. Gabriela also has a great deal of having empathy for someone or something and tries to perceive many things from different perspective and not be closed-minded often. Gabriela can be a playful person if she has created a bond with them where their relationship can be at that level. Sometimes it takes a while only because she doesn't trust so easily and usually treads the water before diving in completely. Sometimes it just depends on the situation and Gabriela wants to assess it.

It's how Gabriela is realistic. Sure she's quite imaginative and open-minded, but Gabriela reminds herself that there are times when she has to think of real life and those around her. It's why she's reserve with people and likes to see and know how they are before becoming closer. Gabriela dislikes it when people judge others as many people have misjudged her lots of time, but than again Gabriela knows it's only human nature to do so. So Gabriela has to remind herself to not be so biased and try to be fair and see the gray within the black and white. Life is never that easy and Gabriela knows that for sure although the struggles are never that easy to deal with, but that what makes life refreshing and the rewards favorable. Anyways, Gabriela prefers to compromise instead of choosing or doing one over the other, unless it's sports or something easy since most things in life can be judge fairly without complicating the matters further.

Even if Gabriela can remind herself all of the positive things in life, she knows that the negativity has to come and go as well. Gabriela can be impulsive and say and do things that may make her regret it afterwards and may also seem insensitive and like a jerk, too. This can make her become stubborn if she's a firm believer of something or doesn't want change as Gabriela has been comfortable with how things have been. It could also mean the changes of doing one thing one way and now having to do it another way. Sometimes it would make her clumsy, not because Gabriela has two left feet or is accidental prone per se, but it's because she's unfamiliar and unskilled with it all. Which leads to Gabriela being absentminded at times as Gabriela either forgets and gets lost in the focus or is mentally tired and wants something to distract herself from it all. Somehow stuff life this can make Gabriela passive-aggressive without her realizing it. Even if she's frustrated or angry, she'll keep her composure in a calm-like way, but her voice and words will betray her as they'll come out differently then Gabriela has initially wanted it to and may sound different to the receiver.

All in all, Gabriela usually says that she's the best example of the saying, 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Gabriela knows that people will already think of her one way or another not because they know her, but because they know of her or of how she portrays herself. Gabriela won't go out of her way to change someone's mind of what they think of her, but she will give them the opportunity to get to know her better if they wish, and to find out what kind of bond to form with Gabriela as well. So like before, Gabriela will act and behave one way or another depending on the level of trust, one on one connection, different forms of bonding, and the personal closeness she feels with someone on those many levels. For Gabriela, once you step into her life and want to be a part of it, she's forever got your back and will be there for you to her best ability. Gabriela doesn't forget those who have done her good or wrong, and pays it back ten fold except the evil part. Those who done her wrong, Gabriela lets karma get back at them for that.

Gabriela's mother, Bitna, met her father, Iago, when her mother was living in the states for her studies when Bitna was twenty-one years old and Iago was twenty-five years of age. They were both non-citizens of the country and met through mutual friends on several occasions as to help the foreigners mingle in the American lifestyle. Although they were somewhat both conversational and awkward in English, the attraction was there and it sparked instantly. Iago and Bitna found themselves falling in love with one another with each gathering and couldn't wait to see each other every time. Anyways, they soon began dating and eventually found themselves married thanks to the helping of their friends to get them to be wedded in America despite not being citizens two years later. Anyhow, another three years passed by and the couple had little Gabriela Haneul Sousa Chae and she was soon welcome into the world.

Gabriela was born in Los Angeles, but she only lived there for two years before her father was relocated back to Brazil due to his job. The Sousa family permanently moved to Santos in Sao Paulo and where Gabriela lived and was raised there for ten years. Somehow after fifteen years of marriage, her parents just fell out of love with one another and decided to get a divorce and Gabriela couldn't do anything about it. Gabriela wanted to stay in Sao Paulo and didn't want to move, but in the best interest for the child, her parents agree that she would ultimately live with her mother since her father's job took up most of his time and he would be too busy to care for her. Soon Gabriela found herself leaving the only home she knew and arriving at some unknown place that was unfamiliar to her at the age of twelve.

Once Gabriela found herself in her mother's homeland she knew that it would be quite difficult for her to adjust. Surely she was right since her mother then started to refer to her as 'Haneul, Haneul-ah, Chae Haneul' and she was never called 'Gabriela, Gaby, and Ela' from her mother since. Anyways, Gabriela disliked how her mother made it seemed like she was always born with a Korean name and that 'Gabriela Sousa' was never a part of it. She would tell her mom this, but her mother ignored it. The only time Gabriela won was when she would tell her mom that on her birth certificate it has her full name and not just her Korean name. Her mom would then drop the subject and not talk to her for a few hours. But to make things easier and to lessen complications and misunderstandings, Gabriela would use Haneul, so she didn't have to explain her whole background.

While Gabriela was still relentless and stubborn as a growing teenager, Gabriela never spoke to her mom in Korean but always in Portuguese to remind her mom that she hasn't forgotten where she was from despite being surrounded by the Korean language and culture. Of course later on, Gabriela learned that she wasn't going to get her old life back at all; especially now that she really had to learn and use Korean as at that time she was barely conversational. Because of her lack of the language, the culture itself, and still being angry with her mother. so Gabriela took interests elsewhere and lost herself in music since it was the only thing she truly enjoyed and could escape from reality as music was able to relate to her without much effort. As for sports, Gabriela somewhat lost interest because it reminded her too much of her father and the pain was still strong at that time. So she put off in playing sports and focused on music related activities. Her mother had also signed her up for extra Korean language classes so that she would be able to catch up in speaking and understanding it better. So there wasn't much time for sports now. Also Gabriela lost contact with her friends back home as they felt she betrayed them and so she was now a little more withdrawn to socialize which hurt who she was.

Anyways, about two years later of settling in and everything had already been finalize, her mother remarried. At fourteen years old, Gabriela thought it was too soon as two years seemed too short, but she was accepting of it, but it wasn't like she could control it. Either way, Gabriela knew that she just had to accept it. Just like how she had to accept the fact that her father barely contacted her back despite her efforts to keep in touch with him through many means of communications. Along with her mother re-marrying, she had to accept a new father figure as well as two step-siblings to which she became a big sister to. Yeah, Gabriela had to do a lot of accepting because she found herself moving again and going to a new school. An international school called Korea Kent Foreign School where they taught in English. It was where her new sister and brother attended and her mother thought it would be a lovely idea for Gabriela to attend too since it was a good opportunity to learn another language and be close with her new siblings.

So, when she step foot onto KKFS' campus ground, this is where she met her best friend, Saeron, who was just some random, weird girl to Gabriela. Saeron was like her number one cheerleader and cheered her on whenever she did a sport, even though they were on the same team and what not. Gabriela at first found it weird and awkward, but soon got used to it and began to like it. It brought back her fighting spirit to enjoy sports again and to give it her all to play well. Also, it brought back her human nature to socialize with other people besides her mom and eventually with her step-family. Thanks to KKFS, she was able to enjoy all the sports she loved and even knew ones as well and to make new friends. It may have also helped Gabriela to be herself again and a lot more happier in that she was also surrounded by foreigners like her who were also not native to South Korea despite having Korean blood in them. Gabriela was beginning to see the bright side of things a bit better since her parents' divorce and the new marriage with her mom and step-dad.

In her first year at the new school, Gabriela met Harang through Saeron, and she would have never thought the two would be the best of friends because of their differing personalities. Gabriela was informed by Saeron of Harang's amazing singing and rapping abilities, and Saeron egged Harang to show Gabriela. Harang at first didn't want to, but after much pestering she finally ended up doing so. Gabriela soon watched with fascination at how fluid Harang was and how she just captures your attention with her vocal skills. This piqued Gabriela's interest, and she wanted to give it a try. Harang told her that singing is more than a hobby, but there was a difference from singing with passion than singingto impress. Gabriela didn't understand until Harang took her under her wing when Gabriela had no real emotion or feelings when she sang and Harang just couldn't see her friend's friend failing. Eventually though, Harang and Gabriela were able to get along and the duo of friends now became a trio of best friends. Gabriela luckily caught on faster thanks to Harang who helped guide her through various vocal lessons and warm-ups. But having the abilities to sing and even rap a bit whenever she heard a song or a tune gave her a new level of happiness to Gabriela as she began to fall in love with music even more than she ever thought.

Gabriela's interaction with her step-family is a lot better now. she isn't angry with her mom anymore, but when they have like mini fights they would argue in Portuguese for some odd reason. Anyways, Gabriela has come to love them and accept them into her forever changing life. Gabriela can't see herself without them now, and they have always supported her in whatever, but of course there are always differences which is always normal in a family and what not. By now, she'll get some sort of response from her father, but it's always like a "late" birthday card, postcard, or a less than a minute voice mail, or even a lame e-mail with "hope you're doing well". Gabriela accepts this too, and knows that her father isn't an important factor in her life like how her mother and new family are right now.

– she got the scar on her thigh by running against something sharp within her house when she was seven years old and actually hid this from others by wearing long pants and putting stuff on top of it to stop the bleeding until her father had kicked her playfully in that spot and she cried hard and her father thought he had really injured his daughter

– the moon phases tattoo is how she views her life with the good, the bad, and the in-between as moment is written beneath because moments are what to enjoy then anything else in life

– the other tattoo represent that before she dies she can make up her life however she wants and live in the moments and make things matter until that time comes for her

fashion.  Despite being into sports, Gabriela doesn't dress all that sport-like at all. Gabriella's style usually depends on her mood and what the occasion calls for, but her style includes being simple, casual, chic, cute, comfy, and girly.

appearance.  Like the face claim except a few things as Gabriela stands tall at 168cm and weighs in at 52kg. Also Gabriela's has tan skin, is quite muscular tone, quite a bit thicker, and curvier as muscle weighs more than fat. Gabriela also has a scar on her left thigh and a tattoo below the nape of neck and another on the left inside of her upper arm. She has both of her ears pierced.

on the inside.  Now, how she got accepted into SM Entertainment... it was all thanks to Harang. Gabriela became a good enough skilled singer in a short amount of time which gave Gabriela the opportunity to show case her skills when Harang ended up stressing her vocals for a singing competition that she was a part of. Harang had Gabriela filled in for her which threw Gabriela off and wondered how can she fill in for her friend when she wasn't an official member and what not. Harang just told Gabriella to go with it as her friend had already informed the others and Harang felt Gabriela would do a better job if she actually sang with others. Anywho, Harang trusted Gabriela, and Gabriela was nervous yet gamed to give it a go, and so she did. At that time, there was a SM representative that happened to be at this competition and scouted her to audition for the company. Gabriela was shock and surprise and she told Harang and Saeron about it, and the two encourage her to give it a go. Gabriela felt guilty for taking Harang's spot, but Harang dismissed the idea as it really didn't matter to her. Saeron told her that if she ever debuted, she would be her number one fan. Gabriela was accepted into SM Entertainment at the age of seventeen in 2011 after passing the audition the second time around as she was too nervous and failed the first time, but she didn't give up. 

Gabriela's trainee life was a little more exhausting then she expected it to be. while doing sports and having a workout like that, it didn't see comparable at all to the trainee life. She woke up early to practice, continued to practice, practice until bedtime, and do it all over. Besides practicing, she had vocal lessons, dancing lessons, and even memorizing specific dance moves. Gabriela wasn't sure if she should still continue, but then she thought of her family, her friends, and didn't want to give in so easily. Plus, it was something different and it related to her newfound love for music. Also, she was able to learn many techniques, met great people, and found new friends that helped her trainee days become bearable. Of course Gabriela had a few discord with a few of them from time to time, although she didn't want to, but life wasn't always that fair. Gabriela knew that much about it. Anyways, it was mainly because of the language misunderstandings, her competitiveness, her weird self that many found different and not used to of her, and that some believe se wasn't talented and just got in by luck and is just a useless person. This made her quite upset, but Gabriela never let it showed and just trudged on through it all, because she knew that without struggles in life, she would never be happy in the end if it was all too easy.

Hello. I'm Gaby of Wonder Woman and from the Christ the Redeemer of the wonder worlds.

did you ever think you would debut in a girl group under one of three big companies in korea?
Honestly, no. I didn't even really think that I would follow the path to become a singer, but here I am.

what concepts would you like the group to try in the future? any collaborations you hope for?
All concepts. There just can't be one. To show off our many charms, doing other concepts will help us with that. As for collaborations, I could only think of working with the other fellow labelmates. Fans love to see artists from the same company working together, right?

what makes wonder woman stand out from the rest besides the obvious?
Our charms. Our flavors. Because of that, we're basically one big melting pot that has all of this zest to spread to the world through our music.

anything you would like to say to fans who are anticipating your debut?
Do not be afraid to showcase who you are and be proud of what you're born with. That's really the best kind of wonder in the world.
