Yeon is sincere in what she says, does, and that also means she doesn't like bull nor does she sugarcoat things. Yeon is also determined to do things her ways despite what others may advise. When it comes to her job or life itself, Yeon feels obligated to do something or believes she has to care or a control over someone or something. Yeon's never rough or aggressive with her behavior or words as she does it in a tranquil manner. Also, Yeon is a person who out of concern does things for the actual of doing or of use instead of theories or ideas.
Yeon is the type of person that doesn't need a lot of things to live with or by and makes and does with little as possible. BACKGROUND
1996. Yeon was born in Seocho, Seoul, South Korea on the 11th of February in 1996 as a fifth generation to a rich family where the parents' income came from their many years of being in the medical field. She was actually a mistake and wasn't planned to be born at all. Her older brother, Seon, was the only one planned and was supposed to be an only child. Her parents were both stressed by work and had drank a lot one night while talking with one another about the medical field and its achievements and advancement that led to Yeon being conceived later. Her mother couldn't abort her as to not lose face, but would always remind Yeon because of carrying her for ten long months, her mother had lost two very important opportunities to write her research on internal medicine.
2000. At the age of five, she attended the French School of Seoul located in Seocho alongside her brother who was eleven at the time and took up ballet to appease her parents for being such a burden to their lives as how they would subtly tell her whenever they see her and such. Yeon figured that if she became a top ballerina that they would appreciate her more and be proud of her like how they were proud of Seon for being highly intelligent.
2004. At the age of nine and a few months after TVXQ debuted, Yeon's classmates were buzzing of the idol group and she became curious about them as her parents never really let her listened to anything else beside classical music. So Yeon asked Seon about it and he gave her a huge grin and introduced her to all of K-Pop and even more beyond that. This piqued her interest when she saw how many of them moved their bodies that was unlike the structure of ballet. She asked her brother more about it, and he told her that there were many forms of dancing besides ballet, and she asked her brother if he could show her more and maybe teach her some of it. Seon told his sister that he could, but couldn't let mom or dad found out about it. She agreed a bit unsure as she didn't want to cause her parents harm, but then again, they still barely acknowledged her.
2009. By this time at the age of fourteen, Yeon was doing ballet while in school as she did enjoy the activity and didn't care about appeasing her parents anymore, but out of the French school she would attend a dance workshop to learn other dance forms with her brother that made her love for dancing grow and explanding her music taste outside of South Korea as well. She even participated in a few flashmobs loving the sensational rush feeling that it gave her.
2013. Yeon graduated from French school at the age of eighteen and she wanted to major in dance for college. Her parents found out and disapproved right away. All of her life she felt no love from them and now that she was old enough, Yeon felt like she didn't need their approval for anything else. She left home to venture on her own with nothing much to her name. If her brother knew, Seon would have supported her all the way, but he was currently doing his mandatory military duties and wasn't aware.
2015. Yeon gave up on the idea of schooling for dance and just took it as a hobby because she couldn't fathom the idea of going to school again. She decided to just dance on the street for fun and extra cash when she wasn't working at the restaurant. She was also living with her brother when he got out and learned of her situation. He couldnt let his only baby sister live on her own and tried to help as much as possible. Even to the point where he would pay for her schooling if she wanted to major in dance. Yeon told him no and that she just wanted to live life as it is for now despite becoming a little popular online with videos of her dancing being posted. That was until she was contacted by Wanbyeok when they saw clips of her dancing and her brother encouraged her go for it.

Baehan is definitely a ray of sunshine that surprisingly makes Yeon smiles without any fault. Yeon can't seem to find it in herself to be mad at the girl for long, especially with her cute dimples are on display. Appreciates her talkative nature and doesn't mind the fact that Baehan talks more than her during interviews and variety shows. In honesty, Yeon wants Baehan to keep her innocent and happy-go-lucky personality and self intact despite the things that they go through.

ALIX'S TRAINEE LIFE
TRAINEE YEARS less than a year at current company
TRAINEE LIFE it was a tough training period for Yeon. she wasn't used to this kind of training as she just knew dancing. but she learned some other techniques she hadn't learned from the company. plus, she wasn't used to practicing her vocals for singing and dancing as they told her her dancing skills may be good, but it wouldn't get her far if she didn't have some other qualities. and of course she wasn't used to having such a schedule that was for idol training and not regular life and such. it was a roller coaster ride and Yeon stuck to it out of it being a challenge and she didn't want to quit when her brother was there supporting her and the likes.
PREDEBUT ACTIVITIES Yeon has danced practically all around Seoul and participated in several dance competitions. she hasn't won any, but has gotten in the top three on multiple occasions. still though that doesn't stop her from going out and performing on the streets of Seoul to express what she got. also she must be loved by others as she has seen videos of herself dancing (via Seon) by other people that have recorded her.
so when Yeon was contacted by Wanbyeok about it, she thought it was just a joke or something. it wasn't and she wasn't sure about it as she never really thought about becoming an idol. Seon encouraged her and Wanbyeok made some good points for her to join and Yeon went with it.

yes.

they have pressured me on getting plastic surgery on multiple occassions. they've also indiscreetly pass remarks about my appearance as well as disregarded my effort in showcasing my other abilities in favor that i should be showcasing a new face. they even set up appointments with plastic surgeon doctors when i have already told them that i do not want to go under the knife. the worst thing of all is that they've restricted my diet in hope that it'll help shape up my facial structure better. there were a few incidents where i got smacked in the face for rejecting the idea and possibility of getting any plastic surgery.
iii. Do you have any evidence of this mistreatment?
there's a monthly chart that they keep up for me to see my progress in the practice room. i've memorized the whole routine and the questions as it's always the same and nothing changes except our moods and my firm stance in not changing my appearance for a more visual one. they think i haven't seen them toss it out like normal trash. i've kept each one to remind myself that i won't change to appease them. the chart has notes about my diet, scheduled appointments with plastic surgeons, and other miscellaneous things that differ from the other members like curfew, beauty products, etc.
iv. Did you tell anyone of what Wanbyeok Entertainment had done to you, with the exception of your group members and fellow employees at the company?
unfortunately, no. i cannot bring up the situation to my brother as i do not want to worry him. he's done so much for me over the years that i cannot bring myself to tell him how i'm actually doing. i just lie and say it's an idol thing.
v. Would you rather Daughters of the Moon be disbanded or move to another company? Which company would you like?
either is fine as long as we're not mistreated anymore, but i would still like us to remain together as a group and continue on. so i guess it would be great to move to another company. moonlight entertainment would be great as its a company started by our nice manager that treats us better and knows our situation. i can trust them without hesitation.
