taeha is sincere in what she says, does, and that also means she doesn't like bull nor does she sugarcoat things. taeha is also determined to do things her ways despite what others may advise. when it comes to her job or life itself, taeha feels obligated to do something or believes she has to care or a control over someone. taeha's never rough or aggressive with her behavior or words as she does it in a tranquil manner. also, taeha is a person who out of concern does things for the actual of doing or of use instead of theories or ideas.

taeha was born to a pretty well off family with a father, a mother, and an older brother. the parents sent the kids to a french school in hopes of taking a family vacation to france one day when she and her brother were old enough. taeha grew up more in the care of her brother then she did her parents as they were always busy and out an about. more like her father was away on business trips and her mother attending social gatherings or whatever her brother would tell her. taeha did okay in school. she wasn't the best, but not the worst as she did enough and knew enough to get by for her own self.
it wasn't until she was sixteen when she witnessed the murder of her father and the suicide of her mother. taeha had left school early because she was feeling sick and came home to sleep it off. she awoke to sounds of yelling and went to go check it out in her weary state. when taeha reached the dining room area she heard more screams from more than two voices. she recognized two as her parents, but there was an additional male and female, and the male didn't sound like her brother.
taeha just caught certain words and sentences such as "cheating ", "mistress", "young bastard", "you cheated first", and etc and etc. taeha didn't know what to think of it until she heard a gun shot go off. it was silent for a second before another round of screaming and yelling could be heard. just as taeha peeked her head into the living room she saw her mother waving around a gun before aiming it at a young man and shooting him. her mother later directed it at her father and shot him. just as taeha had called out for her mother, who looked at her with a cynical smile, her mother shot herself.
taeha stood there for a good minute before turning around and booking it to her room. she blamed her sickness and that it was all a bad dream. taeha fell asleep soon after and was awoke by her brother some time later with police officers standing by as a neighbor had heard the gun shot and called for the police. taeha still assumed she was in a dream and didn't let anything register in her mind as she and her brother was taken to the station for questioning and what not.
anyways, taeha explained that she thought it was all a dream when she recounted what she only saw and heard. later her brother told her that their prents have been having an affair with other people since she was nine and he was fifteen. this messed with taeha for a real long time with how she saw and interacted with building a relationship with anyone. whether it be intimate or just platonic. taeha put up a wall and became guarded and behave the way she did so that she wouldn't have any sort of ties with people.
it was only with her brother that she remained as human as possible to function with some feelings and what not. her brother sort of set her on dates (with him spying from another table), but they never worked out because taeha would ruined it once she spoke about the things she likes and dislikes and what not off the bat. also her brother set up siblings date for him and her but she would ruin that by being a sour sport. of course all of that didn't change her out look on life as much, but it kept her at bay to just focus on the task at hand to keep her mind occupied by other things that wouldn't plague her mind like the last scene of her mother's angelic face that seemed so twisted before blowing her brains out.

They're super close despite how Taeha treats her brother at times. Taeha sometimes likes Jaeshin and sometimes she just wanna bury him six feet under. Then again, without her brother, she wouldn't have learned to be tough in sports, looking out for herself, and having someone to always be there for her despite everything that has happened in life. To her, Taeha owes her thanks and gratitude to Jaeshin for being the one to let her keep her sanity when she thought everything around her was falling apart. Also, Taeha believes her brother to have a sister complex as he's protective of her yet teases her the most. He doesn't deny nor confirm this though, but his actions speaks otherwise.

Junmyun has a very good sense of judgment that makes him quite reasonable. He is also reliable, trustworthy, and can be someone that you can truly depend upon when you need him. Junmyun's cool and quite nature makes others think he's just silent, but he's not. Junmyun just has a great deal of self-restraint and self-control. Which makes Junmyun tolerant of enduring pain, difficulties, provocations, and annoyances with tranquility and calmness. Some times though, Junmyun has the tendency to avoid potential danger or problems if anything unexpected should occur despite his calm demeanor.
Junmyun often shows and acts with careful attention to detail and because of this it makes him difficult to please. Junmyun can also be a persistent person and unyielding with his way of thinking and probably doing things unless he otherwise see unfit. first meeting:
taeha and junmyun hasnt actually met just yet as they only seen one another in passing, but with junmyun noticing more than taeha. their first meeting was when taeha was at the gym getting in a good work out before later doing her self-defense moves. at this time was when junmyun happened to come across her practicing her skills. he was impressed, but his attention was drawn away by his marital arts' teacher and when he looked back to see some more of taeha's skills, she was gone.
another incident when they've met again unaware was at a cafe that junmyun frequents a lot and he happened to see taeha come in. at first he didnt recognize her, but saw the scar on her left leg that he happened to see at the gym, and knew it was her. before he could actually get the chance to talk to her or whatever, taeha was already out of the care with a bagel and cook in hand. junmyun still diidn't get the chance to learn her name.
interactions:
they have minimum interactions all because of taeha. it's not like she doesnt want to interact with him, but it's more like she can't bother unless she needs to. unfortunately, junmyun always seems to find some time to come and chat with her. work or non-work related and taeha wonders what he wants since the other detectives do this to her when they worry about her health and such since she doesn't really eat and is always putting her attention into the case or trying to find more about it. junmyun on the other hand just wants to get to know her better by being subtle about it. like offering to help her with a case or if he can get her anything to eat or drink while they do some research and what not. but every now and then taeha gives in to junmyun only like once in a very rare ocassion because she sees his efforts in that of her brother who also tries to take care of her when she doesnt do it herself. also, it doesn't help when junmyun likes to or bother her out of boredom or his own enjoyment to cause taeha to become fluster by his action and act a bit different towards him than she does the others.
