July's Rain

This is the most random blogpost...but at least it's not a rant :)

Sometimes I forget that July for us Brits isn't truly 'summer'. We don't get four even seasons like a lot of other countries. We have long autumns. A decent winter (we just don't know how to handle snow). Spring comes slow and with rain and summer comes with even more.

May and June are the 'perfect' months if you like scorching sun and no breeze or shade on the longest and most humid days of the year.

So when July comes, it is really a surprise that there are so many thunderstorms?

It's been raining constantly for the last week now? And really, I'm a hermit so it's completely fine~

The sound of the rain has really made me just want to sit in silence and listen to it...then I get inspired to write more. Though the thunder makes me want to turn of my laptop and hide under my bed, I'm gradually growing to be less afraid of it. (Which is funny because 10 years ago on holiday I was in a Category 5 hurricane. Hurricane DEAN XD. He should come out with an album of that title if he hasn't already~)

...So how are you guys spending your July??
