⟪ NICKNAMES ⟫

→ Dancing Queen ⋮ She's one of the best dancers on campus, hands down, and the instructors at 1Million had offered her a teaching post, but she rejected (the full-time position, at least; she didn't mind working parttime) due to personal issues
→ Hyo ⋮ nickname by her friends when they need to shout for her for any reason.
→ Kitten: nickname used by Hyuk because she freaking purrs in her sleep
→ Sylvie: a small twist on her English name, Sylvia
→ Yah: granted, that's not a nickname, but the word Seungwoo uses when he is looking for her in the apartment and doesn't bother dragging his lazy around
→ Angel: personal nickname by Youngjae making fun of her rebellious nature, also indirectly praising her voice (but she doesn't know it)

⟪ BIRTHDAY ⟫ March 14, 1996
⟪ BIRTHPLACE ⟫ Gwangju, South Korea
⟪ HOMETOWN ⟫ Hong Kong, (China) and Gwangju, South Korea

⟪ ETHNICITY ⟫ Korean-Chinese (but she also has a bit of Japanese blood due to her ancestor)

⟪ NATIONALITY ⟫ Korean

⟪ LANGUAGE(S) SPOKEN ⟫

→ Cantonese ⋮  Suhyo is born to a mother who is also a Hong Kong resident, so she grows up learning both Cantonese and Korean. She is fluent.
→ Mandarin Chinese ⋮ Due to the difference in their ages, Suhyo attended school in Hong Kong for a shorter period than her brother, so she's less proficient in it. However, her mother forces her to talk to her in either Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese, forbidding her to talk in English like her brother sometimes does. Due to this, her hatred of the language increases, so she can't go further than conversational.
→ English: Her family had spent quite some time in the States, so she is fluent in it. Plus, it's required for her to learn it in school.
→ Japanese: The same relative forced persuaded her to learn the language so she can engage a conversation with her grandmother. Conversational but not fluent.
→ Russian: Her best friend is Russian so she learnt the language from her. Quite fluent.
→ Korean: Her second mother tongue. Father is Korean so she has to learn it as well. Fluent.
→ Spanish: Her roommate is half-Spanish so she took up some phrases, but her vocabulary consists mostly of swearing and gossip-related words because her Spanish roommate rarely phones home and instead her friends to talk about her college life.

⟪ WEIGHT, HEIGHT ⟫ 168cm, 49kg

⟪ FASHION STYLE ⟫ Suhyo doesn't bother with her clothes (much) and usually opts for 'comfortable' than 'stylish', wearing T-shirts and sweatpants, on hot days shorts. Her choice of shoes includes trainers and flip flops (which she also uses to throw at someone). She rarely wears a jacket, but when she does, it's either a hoodie or short-sleeve ones.

On colder days, her wardrobe undergoes a change. Instead of being just comfortable, she wears tighter pants which shows off her legs, large sweaters which hang from her frame or a white shirt coupled with either a plaid or bomber jacket.

Like her brother, Suhyo likes accessories, but only a few of them. She wears a scarf on cold days but doesn't actually need it, as well as small earrings and ball caps.

She hates makeup and dresses with a passion and never uses or wears them except for formal occassions like the school Christmas ball. (and when she does, she's drop-dead gorgeous)

Also, her workout attire consists of either a sports bra or wifebeater with tights.

Normal: (1) [excluding the socks] (2) (3) (4) [all references]

Colder days: (1) (2) (3) [this doesn't match the description but I couldn't resist] [all referenes]

⟪ APPEARANCE ⟫ Suhyo has long brownish-black hair that falls to her back, which she either ties into a ponytail or a plait. She had always wanted to chop it off to shoulder-length, but never actually did it. Her eyes are brown and almond-shaped, lips a natural red that caused a lot of teachers to accuse her of putting on lipstick, and fair skin. Like her brother, she has a slim built and slender limbs which are perfect for dancing. Her hands are small with long fingers, and she has small feet as well. Suhyo has a tattoo of a white lily in the inside of her wrist in memory of her mother (they symbolise death and unity of spirits in Chinese culture) like Seungwoo, as well as a cat in between her shoulder blades.

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫

Positive traits ⋮ Outgoing, friendly, easygoing, fun, determined, energetic, open-minded, confident (on the outside, at least)
Neutral traits ⋮ Sporty, independent, daring
Negative traits ⋮ Sarcastic, unpredictable, irritable, stubborn, rebellious, insecure, sensitive

On the outside, Suhyo is an outgoing and friendly person whom others would open up to easily, causing her to have a large circle of friends. She's open-minded as well, which leads to her daring personality because there is nothing she wouldn't try to do. She can't do something? Oh, you bet your she would.

She's also extremely energetic, bouncing around with seemingly infinite amounts of energy and is usually the first person to get everything done and going. Coupled with her easygoing and fun nature, Suhyo is lovable and easily attracts the attention of others.

However, what others don't know is her internal personality. She rarely shows it, only around those whom she trust and are close to, but sometimes people are caught off-guard because it's just so different from her normal personality. Sarcastic and irritable, she doesn't have a filter on , resulting in her spitting out offensive words and talking about bad qualities about others. She isn't gossiping though, oh no, but rather letting out her pented fustration at some people who clearly needs a punch to the face. Like her brother, she is also a sarcastic person, and says whatever she thinks without thinking.

Her rebellious nature also causes her trouble, as she ventures into places which are off-limits, does things the exact opposite of what others want, and only listens to Seungwoo (but she ignores him sometimes as well). The more someone tries to put a leash on her, the more she bites back, so others learn quickly not to control her too much.

Just because she's outgoing and friendly, doesn't mean she's a happy-go-lucky person though. Even though she hides her internal personality, she lets curse words fly out of whenever she likes it. Be prepared.

Due to her childhood, Suhyo also suffers from extreme mood swings, as well as bouts of depression and anxiety that she hides really well. Her depression causes her to reach for a knife many times, but Hyuk is always there to stop her. Her traumatic past leaves unseen scars on her as well, causing her to be unable to break out of her insecurity. Suhyo opens up to people after being close to them, and says a lot of things about others that are considered offensive and gossip, hence causing others to leave her. Due to this, her insecurity heightens even more.

"Oh, hello there, I'm Suhyo, nice to meet you. What? I ? Damn right I do. Now hold my beer. I got some asses to kick. Out of my way."

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Suhyo is born to her mother in Gwangju, South Korea, and her name was picked by her father. She doesn't have memories of them being in Korea though, and only remembers Hong Kong, even then barely. At the age of six, her mother started travelling around for business, causing her to be lonely as she can't get close to anyone in such a short period of time.

Throughout her childhood, her mother favours her brother more than her, always buying things and letting her son off several rules that she made for both of her children. Suhyo, thinking it's her fault, tries to win her mother's attention by studying hard and achieving high academic results in school, yet it's never enough.

Seungwoo doesn't use their mother's love to his advantage though, and gives her the love and attention that her mother doesn't, hence Suhyo is grateful for her brother and doesn't abandon or shy away from him when he started having mood swings at the age of ten. Their mother, who is clearly afraid of him, continues to accuse her daughter of things she never did, as well as lashing out at her when she's stressed from work.

She never fights back, even though she desperately wants to, and takes care of their mother when she's sick. At the time, their family starts to fall apart, and she is willing to sacrifice her freedom if it means getting her brother's sanity back, as well as her mother's health.

When she was around twelve, her father made an appearance in their lives and she was excited at the prospect of meeting the man who named her. Their family moved to Korea once more, and Suhyo is, for the first time in her life showed with affection and love by her father, who doesn't abandon her like her mother does. She turns a blind eye to the abuse her mother is going through daily, until Seungwoo decided to set the house's balcony on fire and fled to the States with the help of their aunt.

In the States, Seungwoo soon dropped out of school and started working, with his sister going to school and helping her brother by taking care of her mother. Even though she had several chances to not do so, Suhyo resumes the role of a loving daughter and had an immense amount of patience when dealing with their mother's hallucinations and anger fits, enduring her verbal threats and the objects she aimed at her head. However, what nobody knew was the fact that she buries her head into her pillow and cries at night, resulting in her depression.

As Seungwoo continued to work and earn money for the family, she continued to go to school and strived for high grades to please her mother, yet she is never satisfied, causing Suhyo to be isolated by the others. She met her best friend at school though, a cheerful Russian girl with a dark interior named Sofya. The two stuck close together throughout high school, and continued to keep in touch in college.

A few years later, in the spring that she turns twenty one, her mother finally gave in to despair and cuts her wrists in the middle of the living room, with Suhyo trying desperately to stop her, resulting in a fight between the two women as their mother repeatly slapped and kicked her while she endured, tears running down her face. Her mother finally snapped, and knocking her daughter unconscious, dragged herself to the balcony and threw herself off, with her continuously blaming herself for her mother's death.

The siblings then moved back to Korea to escape the haunting nightmarish memories, where she applied for college and started to pull herself back together, resulting in the cheerful and energetic persona that she hides behind.

While she's at college, Suhyo decided to make her childhood dream the truth and became a student at 1Million Dance Studio, where she soon became one of the instructors' favourites, even being offered a position. There, she met artist and producer Kwon Hyuk who went by the stage name Dean accidentally, and the two became close.

(She met her brother's future boyfriend as well, but didn't really remember him because Yixing never taught her)

⟪ OCCUPATION ⟫

   ⟪ LIKES ⟫

  • Tea. In contrast to Seungwoo, she favours tea over coffee, and especially likes green and milk tea. Her guilty pleasure is going out for bubble tea when she's working out.
  • Sports. While she loves all kinds of sports, dancing, basketball and tennis takes a special place in her heart. She never misses the oppprtunity to have a match with others. (and to win, of course)
  • Food. Suhyo absolutely adores food and has a sweet tooth as well. She is quite picky in selecting a place for dinner, but generally eats everything. She likes eating soup noodles the best. However, when she falls into depression, she doesn't eat, so those close to her knows when it happens.
  • Literature. In school, she studies both drama and screenwriting, sharing her brother's love of writing. She loves literature and poetry with deep meanings that need to be found, and is often seen with a book.
  • Cats. Suhyo loves cats, even going as far as getting a tattoo of Moonlight, yet the pet never pays her much heed, to Seungwoo's delight and her fustration.
  • Sleep. She can crash anywhere, anytime, and however. Once she was sleeping standing up in the dance room because the floor was too hot.
  • Music. It's her life. Literally, along with literature, drama, dance and food. She loves R&B and hip hop, along with pop and trap.

   ⟪ DISLIKES ⟫

  • Dresses and makeup. As mentioned, Suhyo is a complete tomboy and refuses to dress in a style that expresses herself less. She claims that makeup is a waste of time, and dresses are a 'pain in the '.
  • Literature or poetry that is written purely for attention and lack depth and meaning, because then the author would be writing a complete work of trash.
  • Promises. Rather than hate, it is lack of trust in others that caused her to dislike promises, because she knows that others would break their promises and thus refuse to make any empty ones.
  • Rain. It puts off her outdoor matches, and even though she quite like the idea of running in the rain, Suhyo never did so and also hates it when the water sticks to her skin.
  • Shallow people. She thinks they rarely does anything of great importance, and gossip a lot as well. Suhyo despises this kind of people as they just spend their lives loitering around.
  • Slow wifi. She gets fustrated over that easily as she loves playing games or chatting with her friends online.

  • She purrs in her sleep when she's having a pleasant dream.
  • Sings in the shower.
  • Dances unconsciously when music is played.

  • Twisting her wrist just before a match.
  • Arguing with her brother over stupid things
  • Walking faster when she's agitated
  • Having a bag of chips or tea next to her when she's studying or writing

 ⟪ OTHER TRIVIA ⟫

  • She loves giving gifts to others, especially fun ones to her brother like the mug with ' you' written on it
  • She's not a morning person and gets extremely cross when someone wakes her up. If they're lucky, she would let them off with a small warning but if they're not...beware
  • Her Chinese name is Li Xuemei(Mandarin spelling)/Lee Syutmui(Cantonese spelling), meaning 'snow plum'. Her English name is Sylvia Li.
  • She uses her English name as her pen name sometimes, but utilizes the name 'Claire Hallowreath' as well.
  • Her favourite song is 'Cave Me In' by Gallant, Tablo and Eric Nam
  • Because of her depression, Suhyo had turned to drugs and alcohol more than once. While she managed to rid herself of the drugs completely, she still has a bond with alcohol and drinks whenever she's depressed to forget everything and to get inspiration
  • Suhyo loves sneaking into Seungwoo's room to steal borrow stuff for the heck of it, as well as wearing his shirts or hoodies on days she can't find anything suitable to wear.
  • She's biual
  • She's teaching herself to play the guitar to go along with her voice, but it's hard since she doesn't manage her time well.

⟪ FAMILY ⟫

Older brother, Lee Seungwoo ⋮ 24 ⋮ see here ⋮ The two, due to both of their childhoods are extremely close and doesn't have a typical brother-sister relationship. They argue over petty things constantly, which can turn into either a cold war because of their stubborn natures or a physical fight afterwards, and then crashing out on the sofa and maybe watching a movie together. When she was little, Suhyo had despised her brother because he got all of their mother's attention, but afterwards, when he started taking care of her and giving her the love and affection she is in lack of, Suhyo started to become closer to her brother. The siblings stick close to each other and help each other through the ups and downs of life.

Mother, Chan Liwah/Chen Lihua ⋮ 50 ⋮ cold, strict, demanding ⋮ She has had an extremely rocky relationship with her daughter ever since she was born. Because she had a daughter instead of a son (as Chinese normally favour male children than female), she is strict on her daughter and never pays attention to her. Despite this all, Suhyo still loves her mother and stayed with her until her last moments.

Father, Lee Sungman ⋮ 58 ⋮ loving, caring, kind ⋮ Suhyo finds love and affection she craves in her father, whom Seungwoo claims to be an abusive man. She refuses to believe that he is such a person, as he takes special care in her and showers her with gifts. Due to this, when Seungwoo demands that they leave, she was hesitant, but followed because of her brother. She still misses her father, and wishes to see him again.

⟪ FRIENDS ⟫

Best friend, Sofya Volkov ⋮ 21 ⋮ cheerful and fun on the outside, broken and depressed in the outside ⋮ She and Suhyo are similar in the areas which they both suffered abuse, mental and otherwise from their parents. Sofya was drawn to Suhyo due to her cheerful personality, and Suhyo hers. It wasn't until a few months into their relationship that Sofya confesses her dark past, expecting Suhyo to leave her as many others did, that their bond grew practically inseperable. Even though Sofya is now studying in Russia, the two still maintained close contact with each other.

Best friend, Yoo Youngjae ⋮ 22 ⋮ outgonig, loud, mischievous ⋮ Youngjae is Suhyo's partner-in-crime, the two often getting into trouble together when carrying out their plans on pranking others. Poor boy is actually in love with her, and he had confessed once when both of them were drunk, so she didn't think he was serious.

The Mom, Cha Hakyeon ⋮ 25⋮ caring, violent, kind, protective ⋮ He is the mother hen of the group, constantly either taking care of his friends or delieving death blows to them. Suhyo views Hakyeon as a mother figure, and he goes out of his way to take care of her as well. Since the both of them are dancers, Hakyeon sometimes help heal her feet when she twists or hurts them during practice, while she tries to take care of his wounds as well, even though he had repeatedly insisted that she doesn't have to do so.

Gamer friend, Lee Minhyuk (Monsta X) ⋮ 21 ⋮ bubbly, competitive, easily excited ⋮ The two of them play Overwatch together on a daily basis, nearly tearing down the Internet Cafe they are in as they get over-excited and competitive, resulting in curses and threats hurled at each other. On normal days, they rarely hang out togehter, so they don't really know each other that much.

→ Close friend, Mina Myoung: 23 : confident, rebellious, tomboyish, cool : When Suhyo started taking classes at 1Million, Mina was her first instructor, and when she saw the younger's dance style, she was drawn to it and was the first to propose her to become an instructor. Even though she refused, the two began dancing and going to clubs together, with Mina looking for her first when she accepted an offer to choreograph a duet dance.

⟪ OTHERS ⟫

Cat, Moonlight ⋮ 2 years old ⋮ constantly annoyed, extremely independent, mysterious⋮ She hates Suhyo with a passion when Seungwoo is around, causing her brother to be amused. However, when Suhyo is the only one at home, Moonlight sometimes snuggle up to her (mostly for food), and she'll give in to the feline's actions. Sneaky. She's a Turkish Angora.

⟪ WHERE ARE THE MIRRORS IN YOUR HOUSE/APARTMENT? ⟫

"Got one attached to my foundation, stuck in my bag. Two in my room, one hung on my wall to scare myself to death - as if - and another on the side of my wardrobe. Never use it though. I don't know about my brother, maybe he got one or two in his room, and probably knowing his , might've got a compact mirror as well. There's a huge one in the toilet. You done? I'm busy."

⟪ BACK UP ⟫ Woo Jiho (Zico)

loveint

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫ Since Hyuk's an artist, he appears in the public eye, which means he has constructed a stage personality.

To his fans, he puts out the 'bad boy' image, being a rebel and defying whatever society's norms are, and singing and writing songs about things that are normally harder to accept by the Korean society.

In the inside though, he's more gentle and shy, especially around his fans and girls in general. The first time he met Suhyo, he was genuinely surprised at this confident girl who seems like she's afraid of nothing and will never be.

He's somewhat of a rebel in the inside as well, his lyrics and music style a clear indication. He doesn't like people who brag about themselves writing music as if they're some big shot, though doesn't directly criticise them.

Hyuk is extremely dediacted to his work as well. Because he's in the music industry, he strives for the best and is determined to be one of the best musicians, causing him to overwork himself sometimes.

Like Suhyo, he's also daring and is always up for a challenge, and won't back down unless absolutely neccessary.

He's also on his way to be a pun master, though he's working on it and is testing out his puns on his girlfriend. They are really terrible though.

⟪ ANY LAST COMMENT FOR THE EARTH-REALM CHARACTER ⟫ Nope, but just want to mention that when he's drunk Hyukkie gets extremely handsy.

Also their parents' personalities are different because it's from their own perspective (Seungwoo's closer to his mom and sees the good, while Suhyo was taken care of by her father)

⟪ EARTH-REALM SCENE REQUESTS ⟫ A scene where Hyuk was drunk and was making out with Suhyo

Or the midnight rides the two of them go on, driving like there's no tomorrow and drinking until they get wasted

⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫

They're practically a Bonne and Clyde couple. Since the two of them are extremely rebellious, they sneak out for late night rides, partying, clubbing, whatever you can think of that's dangerous and definetely forbidden.

There's rarely a normal moment between the two that doesn't involve a car and alcohol, but when there is, the two hang out at Hyuk's studio to produce music or sing, or in Suhyo's apartment because Seungwoo's at Yixing's, and they watch a movie or TV show together, comment on the behaviour of stupid people, laugh at Hyuk's bad puns and look for more illegal stuff to do.

Another thing they like to do is to sit in a coffee shop together, discussing music lyrics and Hyuk's next song over a frappucino and mocha, or whatever they felt like ordering. Suhyo's ideas, combined with Hyuk's lyrics, usually result in a chart-topper for him.

Because Hyuk is always working with girls, mostly appearing in his music videos, Suhyo's insecure side comes out and she becomes extremely possessive over her man. Even though he vowed to never cheat on her because otherwise there will be no 'Bonnie to my Clyde', she still has a hard time believing that he'll stay forever.

When the night falls, and the clock strikes twelve or some time near, they often goes on midnight drives to just get out of the city, usually ending up on the beach or the edge of a forest, staying up all night and drinking, having deep conversations with each other which are truthful and filled with worries and concerns about their lives. The two sometimes sleep in the car with the windows rolled down, or brings along a blanket to lay on the sands together, watching the stars or waiting for the sunrise.

Hyuk also knows about Suhyo's traumatic childhood, and whenever she cries out in her sleep or is jolted awake, eyes wide and the images of her mother burning behind her eyelids, he is there for her, drawing her close to him and enveloping her in his warmth, humming whatever song he is in the process of making to soothe her and lull her back to sleep.

⟪ FIRST MEETING ⟫

Suhyo was at 1Million, waiting for Mina to work on a duet dance together when Hyuk shows up, asking for Lia because he'd contacted her beforehand. He sees her, who was free-styling to Jay Park's Mommae, and was captivated by the confident way she expresses herself. She then realised there was someone there, switched off the music and the atmostphere became awkward until Mina went runnning in because she was late.

⟪ TRIVIA ⟫

  • Hyuk's song, 'Bonnie and Clyde' is co-written by Suhyo and is filled with the two's insecurities of the other leaving
  • There's at least six cans of beer in the mini-fridge in Hyuk's car just because
  • Suhyo has a habit of taking Hyuk's clothes because she's in love with his fashion style
  • Hyuk has a habit of smoking and Suhyo has a habit of knocking the cigarette out of his mouth, taking a drag and throwing it away
  • They switch between Korean and English when they talk
  • When Hyuk's off touring somewhere, Suhyo doesn't drink that much (unless she's dealing with her depression)

⟪ FACTION ⟫ Deimos faction
⟪ POSITION ⟫ Magic Tank

⟪ SPECIES ⟫ 3/4 elf, 1/4 human
⟪ WEIGHT, HEIGHT ⟫ 178cm, 55kg

⟪ FASHION STYLE ⟫ Mirror-realm Suhyo, unlike her Earth-realm persona, gives a huge damn about her clothes. She wears clothes that are stylish as well as comfortable, throwing on a shirt or crop top that shows off her figure along with dark shorts which suffered damage from battle. Combined with either a hooded military or plaid jacket and combat boots that show off her scarred legs, Suhyo can leap onto the battlefield on any given time.

Her general rule is to wear tight clothes that allows her to move freely, as well as clothes that show off her skin since her body temperature sometimes rises when she uses her powers.

On the rare occasion when she can change for battle, she changes her military jacket into a leather one and knee-length pants.

On cold days, she generally swaps her shirt for a turtleneck with a thin jacket and the usual (you guessed it) shorts, longer boots and a scarf.

Mirror realm Suhyo loves her accessories as well, having quite a large collection of jewellry, and never goes around without a choker around her neck, or a bracelet and ring on her hands. She also loves hats and sometimes wears a beanie or cap.

She wears a weapons belt and gloves as well, for fighting.

⟪ APPEARANCE ⟫ Like her Earth-realm self, she really wants to chop off her long reddish-brown locks, and she actually did, but only after her friends had suffered a long period of her and ing about it. She only cuts it recently though, so she's still getting used to the chin-length hair that doesn't fall to the small of her back. When she still had long hair, she usually ties it up into a ponytail that either is high up or sticks to her neck.

Suhyo has brown eyes with a reddish-tint that resembles fire burning inside. She has naturally red lips as well as pale skin, a long and graceful neck and equally slender and graceful limbs. Her legs are quite long as well, though they are scarred from frequent battle.

She also has a tattoo which are snowflakes littering the back of her neck, as well as others for her powers.

Black stripes that resembles tiger teeth appears on the side of her face when she uses her necromancy powers.

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫
Positive traits ⋮ Determined, energetic, confident, somewhat friendly when you first meet her, dramatic
Neutral traits ⋮ Independent, competitive, daring
Negative traits ⋮ Rebellious, bloodthirsty, sarcastic, cocky, stubborn, irritable, unpredictable

Suhyo usually seems pretty normal, or as normal as members of the Deimos Faction can be. She is determined and confident, and few things can turn that around. The confidence has sometimes caused her trouble though, when she is certain she knows something and she actually doesn't. This then leads to a heated argument until she either tires the other out, or threatens the other party until they say she has won.

She is also energetic, seemingly never out of energy when in Headquarters and on the battlefield, always running around and leaping headfirst into danger. And she loves it. Every bit of battle, every enemy that she can slay and will cut down, which brings us to her bloodthirsty nature.

The amount of bloodthirst she has. Wow. When Jineul's name pops up, Suhyo's usually follows quickly after. Because she was somewhat spoiled from birth, she doesn't really care about the people she kills on the battlefield. To her, whoever from the Aries faction must die, and there would be nothing that can change that. Coupled with her powerful magic, there is little that can stand in her way of bloodshed.

An extreme sadist, she more often than not engages her victims in her mind games and torturing which leaves them begging for their deaths. Suhyo also plays cruel pranks on her unsuspecting teammates with the help of Youngjae, though was forced to stop when Taekwoon noticed. Still, whenever she's on the battlefield, she continues to toy with her enemy's emotions until they grow slowly insane for the sake of 'fun'.

Since she comes from a family that is of slightly higher social status than the others', her parents are very mindful of manners and whatnot, slowly nurturing a rebel in her. She ignores and defies orders just for the heck of it, and listens only to the Faction Commander and her Divison Leader, even then under obligation and grudgingly, sometimes twisting the meanings for fun.

Suhyo has a cocky nature as well, believing she can do anything and everything, as well as that she is right in any situation. When an enemy on battlefield doesn't die from her sometimes over-the-top attacks, she is genuinely surprised and shocked, but recovers quickly.

She also doesn't have good anger management, lashing out at people who disagrees with her randomly and when she is fustrated due to whatever reason. Suhyo has tried to keep that under control though, and even though it has been better, she still has such a habit.

Quiet moments are rare for her, but when she's exhausted from battle and the use of magic, Suhyo sits at her windowsill in silence and watches the moon, or takes a walk around the forest and sometimes on the beach.

Like her unknown brother, she doesn't have a filter in , and says whatever is on her mind, as well as sarcastic remarks that she doesn't bother biting back. Due to this, people has challenged her to duels more than once simply because they're pissed, and she never backs down from a challenge.

"Honey, you don't like my personality? Guess what, you can shove your opinion up your and see how far it goes. You and me in the training room in ten minutes. Good luck not dying."

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Suhyo is born to a relatively well-off family that is extremely strict on manners and their children's behaviour. Because of this, her parents had applied pressure on her, causing her to be lonely in her childhood as she can't confide in her parents.

Time skip to when she's seven. One day, when her parents were out for some reason, she got bored and rummaged through her parent's drawers even though the maid insisted not to, she found out she actually has an older brother and was both excited and terrified. She asked her parents about this, and to her shock they confirmed the truth, and revealed that her brother is dead.

She refused to believe so, and spent the next five years looking for evidence that refutes her parents' claim. At the age of eleven, she finally found an information broker who told her her brother is captured by the Aries faction, who has wiped all of his memories and turned him into a combat robot that obeys their orders to destroy the entire City of Hearts.

Fueled by the desire to kill her brother, as well as the slight hope that she might be able to save him, Suhyo joined the Deimos faction after some persuation when she was wandering around the streets at the age of twelve, as they saw her single-handedly taking down a thief who had stolen from her friend.

Her parents both rejected her choice though, as she was their only child and the only one who can still carry on their bloodline, so she waited for two years until she decided to run away and break away from their control. She decided to look for the Deimos scout who had originally found her to ask him if she can join the faction once more, but was unable to and bumped into Yoo Youngjae instead, who was on one of his missions.

He then drew his weapon, preparing to fight her as she is a stranger on forbidden land - near their headquarters, and it was that moment the magic inside her awoke; fire danced along her leather-covered knuckles, and Suhyo engaged him in hand-to-hand combat until someone ran out from Headquarters and stopped them - despite the fact that none of them want to back down.

Suhyo then joined the Deimos faction officially at the age of fourteen, and it wasn't until she is sixteen that her parents started to look for her. By this time, she didn't care anymore as the constant fighting had turned her into a warrior. She went back to her house all the same, and was greeted by her tearful parents. Since it was around Christmas, her parents had thrown a ball and she was forced to attend.

As she was preparing for the party, she noticed an ornate hand-held mirror lying on her table, and it was the first time that she travelled through it to Earth-Realm. After the ball, she snuck out of the house once more with the mirror hidden under her shirt.

Fast forward to the autumn she was nineteen. Suhyo had started to learn the art of necromancy and knew how to use the dead to do her bidding, scaring the hell out of several people. Moon Jongup was the first person to not be intimidated by her powers, causing her to be drawn to him. She met Mina Myoung the same season as well, the two at first fighting in a duel just because Mina thought Suhyo looked at her in the wrong way - and nearly chopped her head off.

The spring she turned twenty, she was recruited to her current Division and was forced to listen to Jung Taekwoon, something she greatly disliked and refuse to. She was one of the few people who can stand up to his intimidating aura, so he was lowkey surprised but hid it.

⟪ TRIVIA ⟫

  • Secretly learnt how to fight in her childhood, even though her parents had deemed it unladylike. Since her parents are friends with a skilled fighter who was a former member of Deimos (she retired due to old age), the friend was fond of her and taught her skills, despite her parents' disapproval.
  • Her family has blue eyes, but she's the only one born with fiery eyes. Her father told her it's inherited from her great grandmother who was an elf with the power to manipulate fire.
  • She wanted to kill her brother in order to save her city, as well as to get rid of the son whom her parents hate (it's obvious from their tone). Secretly, she wants to meet him, even though he's the enemy.
  • Drinks iced green tea after practice
  • Likes the colour aqua
  • Has a pet called Skull which is a cat skeleton that she accidentally raised while training
  • Loves the dark and hisses at someone when they turn on the lights to her room
  • Takes walks on the beach or around the forest barefoot when she's tired or need a quiet moment to herself
  • Hates it when people tell her what to do
  • Growls whenever she is annoyed
  • Likes adding 'dude' in her sentences when she's in a good mood, and 'sweetheart' or 'honey' when she's not. Her words are a mixture of that, sarcasm, swearing and whatever's on her mind

⟪ FAMILY ⟫

Unknown brother, (Lee Seungwoo) ⋮ 23 ⋮ see here ⋮ Suhyo only knows her brother when her parents mention him, as well as from the records her mother keeps. She bears a deep hatred for him, as he had allowed himself to be captured and is now a little more than a robot who is trained to fight for Aries.

Mother, Kim Dahyun ⋮ 50 ⋮ strict, patient, demanding ⋮ Suhyo doesn't really have a good relationship with her mother as she always keeps her daughter on her toes, giving her smart taps to the back of her head or hitting her wrist whenever she's a step out of line. She demands a lot from her daughter as well, always asking for her to be the best in whatever she does. Due to this, her rebellious nature grew, and she resented her mother for her control over her.

Father, Lee Sungman ⋮ 58 ⋮ bland, distant, mild ⋮ Her father is rarely seen at home; he is often away due to whatever reason, and his daughter can care less. He never bothered to know Suhyo or to be close to her, so the two never really had a relationship.

Younger sister, Lee Hyojin ⋮ 7 ⋮ manipulative, sweet, pretensive ⋮ Hyojin is not related to Suhyo directly, but rather she is adopted by her aunt who is Suhyo's mother as her parents died when she was still little, when she ran away from home. She is loved by everyone in the Lee household, as she is sweet and obedient, claimed to be a 'sweet little angel' by her mother. Behind her mother's back though, she sneers and jeers at her 'elder sister', since her mother doesn't love her anymore. She honestly can give less of a bloody about this stupid little squirt, but just to entertain her mother, she pretends to have a loving relationship with her so-called 'little sister'.

⟪ FRIENDS ⟫

Close friend/partner, Moon Jongup ⋮ 22 ⋮ shy, awkward, sarcastic ⋮ Due to the two of them sharing similar powers (Jongup can manipulate dark forces too, though not as well as Suhyo, and his source of power mainly comes from the moon e.g. calling wolves instead of the dead), they sometimes work together on missions before she joined her Division team. Jongup is shy and awkward around those he's not familiar with, causing him to be an easy spot for bullies in Deimos. However, he can be extremely sarcastic around those who he's close to, such as Suhyo and Youngjae. Suhyo also likes yelling at those who tries to bully Jongup even though he can hold his ground, and he secretly likes having her around.

Best friend, Mina Myoung ⋮ 23 ⋮ cool, tomboyish, sarcastic, ruthless ⋮ The two first met with Mina wanting to chop Suhyo's head off, but she reversed the tables and ultimately pinned Mina down. She spared the other's life, something that is rare to be seen because no one does that in Deimos - it's either kill or to be killed. Mina thinks she owes her, so she followed her to find a chance to pay her back, but the two slowly grow close and they spend their time in Headquarters doing crazy stuff.

Best friend, Lee Jaehwan ⋮ 24 ⋮ loud, sarcastic, friendly, sadistic ⋮ The scout who first found Suhyo. After she joined Deimos, it took her a few years before she found him. Shockingly, Jaehwan remembered her, and gave her the name 'fire eyes' due to the colour of her eyes. They got close pretty quickly, and Suhyo treats him like her best friend.

⟪ ALLIES ⟫

Deimos faction

Partners-in-crime, Yoo Youngjae ⋮ 22 ⋮ sadistic, sarcastic, rebellious, outgoing ⋮ He always looks for trouble with her, and the two come up with pranks that always resulted in the fury of their Division leader, but they couldn't care less.

⟪ ENEMIES ⟫

Aries faction

Younger sister, Lee Hyojin ⋮ 7 ⋮ manipulative, sweet, pretensive ⋮ Suhyo hates her because she is an annoying little squirt who doesn't shut up about their mother, and she keeps on bragging about how she is the apple of Dahyun's eye. Her elder sister wants to straggle her and hide her corpse somewhere filthy for her mother to find, but she refrains herself from doing so.

Older brother, Lee Seungwoo ⋮ 23 ⋮ see here ⋮ Suhyo was brought up under the lie that her brother is captured by Aries faction, wiped of his memories and is programmed to destroy the City of Hearts. Because of this, she considers him to be her personal enemy, as well as a stain in her family's clear history (as much as she hates her parents, she's proud of her family).

⟪ WEAPONRY ⟫

Suhyo has several pieces of jewellry that enhances her magic powers, usually rings or bangles that she wears during battle. Her boots are also not that normal; she calls them 'Dark Boots' as they're black in colour, and gives her the ability to fly for a short period of time. Sometimes they transform into bangles that hang around her ankles. She has a small hammer which resembles a croquet mallet that hangs from her belt she calls 'Hephaestus' hammer', as it aids her in her fire attacks. She carries several blades with her as well. However, she can use her powers to form weapons as well.

⟪ FIGHTING STYLE ⟫

As she is a magic-user, her fighting style is more unique than others. She combines both her fire and necromancy with her weapons, weaving the fire onto her blades and throwing them at the enemy, resulting in severe burns and immense damage dealt.

She can fight both short-range and long-range, though prefers to engage in hand-to-hand combat. Since she is more elf than human, she can move in an agile way, leaping out of her enemies' way before they have a chance to hit her. Her dark boots ensured swift movements as well, letting her jump and taunt the enemy all she likes. When she fights short range and hand-to-hand combat, she allows her flames to dance along the leather gloves she wears or her boots, and deliever her attacks mostly in the form of kicks and punches.

When using weapons, she uses her flame-covered blades or hammer, and either throws them or uses her Hephy's hammer (nickname) to smack fire balls at her enemy. Her flames can also form weapons of their own, and sometimes she hurls whatever weapons the flames formed at her enemies, which can cause the enemy to erupt into flames on impact.

Her necromancy is no joke either, and Suhyo can raise legions of dead from the soil. Their battleground is especially a good place, since a lot of warriors died there. She can exercise control over the dead soldiers (which often take on the form of skeletons), and command them. However, using her necromancy skills can drain her, so she needs to take breaks between them.

Besides raising the dead, she also harnesses the dead souls to give her Dark Boots a boost. Shecan also call forth the creatures of the Underworld, as well as use Hellfires, which is black-coloured fire with more than triple the damage caused by her normal flames.

She has a special technique called 'Danse Macabre' as well, which is combining all of her abilities, letting hellfires dance on her dark boots and her wielding blades, killing the enemy by slicing at them, sealing the hellfire into their wounds when they heal, and thus destroy them from inside.

Together, her abilities are not to be underestimated on the battlefield.

⟪ EQUIPMENT ⟫

- Hephy's hammer hanging from her weapons belt

- The actual weapons belt

- Daggers strapped to her weapons belt

- Water bottle

- Dark boots

- Dark-coloured jewellry (bangles, rings) which gives a boost to her necromancy

- Red-coloured jewellry (bangles, rings) which restricts her fires

- Leather gloves as her fires can burn her skin

- A dark coloured ribbon (when she had long hair) or a dark-coloured clip (short hair) which is more of an accessory than anything, but said to be able to summon a hellhound (it was given to her by the woman who trained her secretly)

- Half of the ornate mirror she first used to travel to the Earth realm which was turned into a compact mirror

⟪ STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES ⟫

Suhyo's powers are stronger than that expected from her experience and age, which is one of her strong suits as there are few who can stand in the way of her destruction and survive. She also possesses quick wits, and is fast and agile on the battlefield, so she can change between different weapons pretty quickly, so fast that sometimes it could be seen as sleight of hand. Due to her being fast and agile, she can dodge attacks easily, and deliever blows of her own.

She also has a strong sense of smell, and can detect scents easily. Usually, she follows the scent of blood, as it means that someone has been killed, whether it be enemy or ally. If it's an ally being killed, the enemy would be hiding nearby. Suhyo uses her brain to form such tactics and deductions.

However, she has a lack of stealth, which results in her easily being found by others. Even though she can defend herself pretty well, she attracts attention, which can cause her to run out of energy pretty quickly if she keeps chopping down those who stand in her way.

Suhyo is also quite unstable on the battlefield; once she sees blood, she can't stop and can go on a killing spree if someone, preferably Youngjae, Jongup or Mina doesn't stop her. Jineul knocked her out using her boots as well, once. When her emotions get unstable, her powers react to them and becomes uncontrollable, once even breaking the red ring she had on to restrict her fire manipulation skills. If she had raised an army of the dead, they respond to her emotions and can kill everyone in their paths.

⟪ POWER ⟫

When she was little, she was forced to choose between an ablaze hammer and a knife encased in water. Suhyo chose the hammer, and from that day on her water abilities vanished without a trace. (Her fraternal grandmother is an elf who can manipulate water and the ability was passed down to her father, plus she inherited the strong flames from her great grandmother). Her powers were sealed until the age of fourteen, which awoke during the encounter with Yoo Youngjae. Since then, she had taught herself to manipulate her flames and to form weapons out of them.

Her necromancy powers didn't show themselves until they were eighteen, but were however first detected by the woman who trained her, thus giving her the pin/ribbon (it transforms). Even though she was training herself in necromancy, the powers didn't just erupt from nowhere. Suhyo was a fast learner though, and quickly grasped the art of it.

She also had a strong sense of smell, but that was born with her.

⟪ HAVE YOU EVER ENTERED EARTH-REALM? ⟫

" 'course I did. Dude, Earth-realm is absolutely amazing. The people there, they're either too smart or too stupid. Not to mention the seas. Have you seen how polluted they are? The beaches are filled with rubbish as well. It's so beautiful. Earth-realm persona? She's a good person, but she lacks something. Hmmm, maybe a slap to wake her up?"

⟪ WHERE WOULD YOU LIKELY GO IN EARTH-REALM? ⟫

"Definitely the cafes where they have a large amount of cats. It's really relaxing to sit there with a cup of tea and a cat on your lap, and talk on the phone with your Earth-realm persona who is in need of friendship advice. She still needs a slap to the face though. Other than that, I avoid the seas and beaches. It's amazing and incredible how much people treasure their homes."

⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫ Youngjae is a rebel, that's for sure. He never bothers to follow rules, and probably is never going to. Unlike Suhyo, he was born to a poor family and lost his parents young, so he polished his skills while running away repeatedly from relatives who didn't want him and surviving on his own. Youngjae doesn't care for whatever rules the society had set for him, and never knew the unspoken laws that others follow.

He's pretty rude as well, and he has an anger management problem as well, coupling with his easily irritable personality. However,  his personality changes depending on his varying mood swings. Sometimes, he acts cute and fluffy, being cheerful and energetic, and other times he's downright rude and the dark aura going off him in waves. Only Suhyo can control his moods, though sometimes she skips along and adds to his foul mood. He had threatened to kill her several times, even though he never did.

On the inside though, Youngjae resembles a broken glass ball. Due to him losing his parents at such a young age, he had never known the feeling of being taken care of and fed without condition, so he is lonelier than most. If Suhyo hadn't came along and picked him up from the dark chasm threatening to close him in, he would probably had became a lone wolf.

On the battlefield, he's bloodthirsty and sadistic. Because he assumes the role of a scout, Youngjae knows exactly where to hide and where to launch his attacks. He toys with the enemy as well, playing on both their psychological and physical well-being, ruthlessly and laughs all the way.

However, he has his ups as well. Youngjae, from his experience of living alone, is extremely independent and determined, the lone years strengthening his will. He also shows his cheerful side to those close to him, such as Suhyo and Jongup, the two who weren't the slightest scared of his dark nature.

Even though he's generally friendly and outgoing to the Division members, once he hates someone, be prepared. He'll be out for your blood, and will hunt them down until he kills them, obtaining the nickname 'Tiger'.

⟪ WEAPONRY ⟫ Carries around a large collection of daggers, as well as a katana hanging from his belt. He hides a small knife in his coat to cut down the vines or whatever part of nature that's in his way.

⟪ FIGHTING STYLE ⟫ Even though Youngjae is technically a scout, he possesses a high level of combat ability and can be mistaken for a warrior when he's fighting.

He can engage the opponent in short-range combat using his katana and knife, first clashing blades with his enemy, and when the other isn't looking stick his knife straight up into the internal organs. He never misses his mark, so his attacks are deadly and fatal, albeit dirty.

However, Youngjae also specialised in long-range combat. He throws his knives at the enemy, or utilises his powers and forms illusions to trick the enemy. When they're confused and their senses are dulled, he'll go in for the kill.

⟪ EQUIPMENT ⟫ Katana, knives and knife hidden in his trench coat (tbh just picture him exactly in the picture on the left), trail markers, flask of water, ring which controls his powers

⟪ STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES ⟫
Strengths: Since Youngjae's a scout, one of his strong suits is his stealth. He can move quietly, even on fallen leaves without a sound, and mostly travels by jumping from tree branch to tree branch.

Another would be his powers. He has the ability to form illusions, and can trick and confuse the enemy, sometimes shielding himself from their eyes, sometimes adding a wall here or there to make them crash into it.

As he's an elf, Youngjae is pretty quick and agile on his feet, and can dodge attacks easily. He also travels extremely fast.

Weaknesses: That would be his rebelliousness. Even though he's required to listen to instructions and follow them, Youngjae sometimes venture away on his own recklessly and ends up doing the wrong thing, or getting hopelessly lost. This causes him to get a scolding from Taekwoon as it can cost him his life.

His powers are also part of his weaknesses. Sometimes, when he gets too impatient or frustrated, they go out of control and his illusions might backfire on himself, causing him to see things.

⟪ TURN-IN ⟫
BACK TO STORY ⟫

⟪ ANY LAST COMMENT IN GENERAL ⟫ Well, since Jongup possesses magic powers as well maybe you can make him a Magic Tank? (Idk, it's just an idea)

Also some of the scenes and descriptions might be a bit messed up since I worked on them over a span of days and stopped, and started again

⟪ MIRROR-REALM SCENE REQUESTS ⟫ Scenes where the two of them are sleeping together and one of them was jolted awake

Or Youngjae using his powers to produce a cat for Suhyo, only for it to disappear into mist when she holds it

And this one please:

"You're not supposed to let me live." Mina stands up, brushing the dust off her knees, staring daggers at the girl who let her off.

Suhyo shrugs and picks up her dagger lying on the floor. "Some of us aren't supposed to be born. Welcome to the real world."

"What?"

She throws a last grin over her shoulder, and walks away.

⟪ RELATIONSHIP ⟫

Youngjae and Suhyo are a pair of troublemakers, that's for sure. Even though he had admitted to having feelings for her (a hard thing to do due to his lone wolf nature), Suhyo hadn't given a concrete reply yet, making him easily frustrated. However, they plot evil pranks to play on their Divison member together, and ultimately getting punishment and scolded together.

Since the both of them are magic users, it's easy for them to understand each other as both of their magic is controlled by their emotions. Youngjae is fascinated by the necromancy skills Suhyo possess, as they can be used together with his illusions, though they never tried combining the two.

Since they both had difficulties in their childhoods, plus both possessing sadistic and bloodthirsty natures, they can understand each other easily, and won't reject the other like some of the division members had done.

Youngjae and Suhyo, when their emotions are stable and everything's peaceful, likes to spend time wandering through trails that he had found when he was scouting, often somewhere that is dark and secretive.

Sometimes, when Suhyo is awoken by the dead appearing in her dreams, Youngjae is always there, offering a shoulder to snuggle against and an arm enclosing her. It's the same with him; when his illusions are getting out of control and creates nightmares that leaves him drenched in cold sweat, Suhyo holds him close and lets him shake and sob into her shoulder.

As these are generally considered signs of weaknesses in Deimos, they trust each other so much that they show their vulnerable side, showing their strong bond.

⟪ FIRST MEETING ⟫

Suhyo was heading to the Deimos Headquarters the same time Youngjae was coming back from his mission, and he attacks her since normal people don't just march into the Headquarters without a word, momentarily forgetting his scout position and going at her straight-on. She defends herself with the skills she had learnt, though her hand-to-hand combat was no match for his blade and that was the exact moment the flames inside her burst into life.

Unfortunately, during the middle of their fight some guy came out and stopped them (under orders, of course), and the two parted with the silently promise of a duel hanging in the air.

⟪ TRIVIA ⟫

  • Youngjae likes Skull, and every time he visits the pet goes bounding towards him as well
  • They have cute nicknames for each other, such as Youngjae calling Suhyo 'an idiot' and her calling him a bastard
  • Suhyo trails her lips down Youngjae's neck when he's having nightmares as he claiming they leave a trail of fire behind and warms him
  • The two displays skinship openly, such as Youngjae casually throwing his arm around her shoulders or waist
  • Suhyo had given him a ring which boosts her necromancy skills, and doesn't do anything for his powers for a keepsake and for luck since he may never come back from a mission
  • Suhyo developed a habit of snapping at Youngjae's fingers playfully
  • She likes burying her nose into his shoulder when they sleep together (again on the same bed and not ing), to inhale the woodland and sweaty smell that lingers on his skin which she claims soothes her
  • When the two fights it results in both getting severe injuries, and promptly ignoring each other in the infirmary
