she might have left her dream, but never did she lose her passion. from showing interest in rapping to writing short verses of rap that later turned into a number of complete lyrics of songs, she never stopped letting her passion grow. little did she know, her parents found her book of songs and acknowledged her potential, and although her father was still reluctant about it, they gave her their consent on pursuing music. she later started enrolling in a dance academy in daejeon. in mid 2013, a jyp representative street-casted her while she was on her way to watch a handball game with her parents. the rep had asked her to go for their audition, in which she later did. she got in for her self-written rap. however, in march 2016, mihyun chose to leave jyp and go for brandnew music, where she got in for her dance – ‘through with love’ by destiny’s child.

WHAT ARE YOU PERSONA: the golden dancer / 'jin' means 'gold' in chinese, and her passion in dancing is viewed as 'golden' by other trainees, for that she really works hard to debut and if given the chance, she'd like to dance till the very last moment of her life.
