In her good traits, Serena is someone that is trustful and has a great deal of certainty whenever she does something or for her own self and doesn't need someone else to say otherwise. Serena's also does thing of her own free will and likes her independence without solely relying on someone else to take care of her or to do something for her. Serena is also the type of person who doesn't yield or wavered so easily and is firm in what she believes, says, trusts, and does unless otherwise proven wrong or in a different perspective and approach. This makes Serena know things without actually thinking too much about it or really saying anything as she trusts her gut instinct and never seconds guess it. Even so, Serena physically builds up her physique and capabilities in strength just so she could be mentally, emotionally, and physically strong overall.
As for her bad traits, Serena's also aloof and not as friendly or affectionate at first glance or even through several encounters as a majority of women may be as she doesn't show as much enthusiasm. While super close to others they seem like they're always fighting and don't like each other. It's because of the way they talk to one another. It's indifferent and usually in a tone like they don't care for one another, but will actually do something for the other and what not. Melanie usually acts like the older one as she is more mature and not as childish as her sister, plus she looks older compare to Serena who looks younger. Serena usually (well it's more like always) gives in to whatever Melanie wants and needs. Also, Melanie visits her sister a lot only because she wants to see her niece, not her sister. Serena knows this as Serena doesn't hide that fact, but doesn't really care about it as she would have done the same thing. Anyways, people would think that alice is actually Melanie's daughter and the girls don't correct them, it'salice who does that
alice clings to Serena like a koala to a tree. Loves her mama to bits and serena loves her daughter just as much. Loves being tickle by her mother and always wants her mom to play with her. Will ignores her mother if her aunt and uncle is around when she doesn't get her way with Serena. Will also ignore her mother if she sees a handsome man as well (only if they're a good person as she can tell off the bat if they're nice or not). Serena believes she got those traits from her birth father about liking pretty people, but won't say much of anything else about it. Mark has a very good sense of judgment that makes him quite reasonable. He is also reliable, trustworthy, and can be someone that you can truly depend upon when you need him. Mark's cool and quite nature makes others think he's just silent, but he's not. Mark just has a great deal of self-restraint and self-control. Which makes Mark tolerant of enduring pain, difficulties, provocations, and annoyances with tranquility and calmness. Some times though, Mark has the tendency to avoid potential danger or problems if anything unexpected should occur despite his calm demeanor.
Mark often shows and acts with careful attention to detail and because of this it makes him difficult to please. lots of small talk majority of the time. it's kind of awkward as she's working and mark's visiting his aunt. so really there's nothing else to do as that's the only time they actually meet and interact. although mark has invited her out to get coffee or lunch so that they could get better acquainted without the job in the way, but serena declines and tells him that she doesn't have time and has a daughter to watch over and such.
relationship = slight crushing, but serena's trying to keep it professional as she sees it as an interest of conflict because she takes care of his aunt. also, she doesn't believe she's ready to date because of her last relationship that resulted in alice. loves alice to bits, but it's the fact that she hates the jerk that helped conceived her as well.

serena says this as a deal she makes with her sister about finding a date to her sister's wedding and that she can't show up alone, not including alice. plus, melanie tells serena she needs to move on and that alice also needs a father figure as she's still young and it would help ease serena's life as well. anyways, serena and melanie were at the cafe on one of serena's day off talking while alice was still at the daycare. in the midst of their conversation, melanie suggests a deal to her sister whom just went with it to get her off of her back. the deal was that it was that serena would ask the next male customer who walked through the doors to date for a week as the wedding was within that time for serena to have a partner because serena's been lagging in doing so by pretending she was busy and had forgotten for the past several months and melanie knew her sister was lying about it.
anyways, mark so happened to walked through it, and serena tried to get out of it, but melanie told her a deal was a deal and serena explained that she couldn't because he was the nephew of the patient she was in charge of and what not. melanie told serena that it was just for the wedding and it would get not just her but the other relatives off of her back if she showed up with a date and blah blah. serena relents and does it as she would rather ask mark the question isntead of facing her family's constant questions and concerns of her love life and what not. mark's actually surprise, but he takes up on her offer only because she finally interacted and wanted to hang outside of her job and aunt and would like to get to know her better and yeah.

a good ending where they start over and actually get to know one another better and go on an actual and proper date.

scene suggestion = um... because they have to fake their relationship for serena's sister's wedding and in front of her parents, how about them having to spend more time together to make it look legit that they actually like one another and such without forcing it and being awkward and such. so like every day they go to do something to get to know one another better and grow closer. and alice just makes it easier. xD
