PERSONALITY: 
Chaewon is confident in herself and even though she may be lacking in some aspects, that doesn't stop her mindset from thinking positively of dreams and hope about herself. She always psyches herself up before doing anything as it helps build up her self-esteem. To which it means that she can be quite ambitious when she wants to be and knows that she has the attitude to do it well and put in great effort for a challenge or in her favor. This could be mean that Chaewon can be quite competitive and won't back down without trying first as she doesn't want any regrets and to think of 'what if's'. And this makes Chaewon quite agreeable as long as it's pleasing to her liking. She won't do anything if it's inappropriate, illegal or not in her best interest. sure Chaewon loves a good challenge and its natural thrill, but it's because she's a free-spirited person of her own free will, not a complete idiot.

Because of Chaewon's strong confidence within herself, Chaewon can be quite self-centered and arrogant without actually realizing it. She doesn't mean to be selfish of her own needs and personal affairs, but she believes in her own ability and self-worth, especially with all of the support and love her brother has given to her over the years. Which could cause Chaewon to be aggressive at times causing the many vibes coming off of her to appear assertiveness, bold, and energetic to others who may not know her too well or not at all. Somehow this makes Chaewon a little bit unpredictable as her attitude can be changeable due to the people surrounding her or the situation she finds herself surrounded by. Thus creating Chaewon to be a tad ruthless and a bit cold in showing no mercy or pity to someone that has done her wrong or being intolerant to those that are disrespectful and quite rude.

All in all, Chaewon's hopes to showcase her skills and her worth to the world, to her big brother, and mainly herself because she's been training for this moment for majority of her life. As it would mean a great deal of an accomplishment to end that particular chapter of her life and to start another one. Although she won't admit it out loud, but Chaewon does have insecurities that she would choke on stage, make a mistake while doing the choreography, or something from her past that would somehow pop up and have the company or her members kick her out of the group and entertainment itself. And this is where she'll have to slow herself down to take a deep breath and organize her thoughts. She would try to think positive thoughts whilst also being realistic about it. Like an ideal thought of winning the rookie of the year award. Or being praised by fans and the netizens of their great style and concept. Once she would repeat that ideal thought over and over until she was calm and okay again.

Although Chaewon's personality may be on the meaner side of things, but she feels like it's more on the tough love aspect since she feels it's more real and honest. Also, with how things have been with her through her lifetime with her parents and at her last company, Jaeshin being there helped out with the good, the bad, and the in-between in his own way..

BACKGROUND:

1995. Lee Chaewon was born in to the world to a home that had enough money to support the family of four, but unfortunately she wasn't a planned birth. She was a product of a one night mistake between her parents who had had too much to drink due to the stress from work  and didn't want to abort her as to not lose face.

2000. At the age of five, she attended the French School of Seoul located in Seocho alongside her brother, Jaeshin, who was twelve at the time, and was taught French as well as took up ballet to appease her parents for being such a burden to their lives as how they would subtly tell her whenever they see her and such. Chaewon figured that if she became a top ballerina, that they would appreciate her more and be proud of her like how they were proud of her brother for being highly intelligent. Other than that, Jaeshin saw his sister as a special individual that shouldn't be treated like that from his parents and grew quite protective of her. Also, he's the reason for her love of music as he exposed her to all types of genres, groups, and musicians.

2003. When Chaewon was eight it was the year TVXQ debuted as Chaewon's best friend, Dasol, introduced her to the world of K-Pop thanks to Dasol's older sister. Chaewon was curious about it as her parents never really let her listened to anything else beside classical music. So Chaewon asked Jaeshin about it and he gave her a huge grin and introduced her to all of the K-Pop and even more beyond that. This piqued her interest when she saw how many of them moved their bodies that was unlike the structure of ballet. Chaewon asked Jaeshin about it, and he told her that there were many forms of dancing besides ballet, and she asked her brother if he could show her more and many teach her some of it. Jaeshin told her he could, but couldn't let mom or dad found out about it. She agreed a bit unsure as she didn't want to cause her parents harm, but then again, they still barely acknowledged her.

2004. A year later her love for music grew as she got older and when she expressed her interest to follow that career path one day while eating dinner with the family, which was always a rare occasion, Chaewon's parents instantly rejected the idea. They told her she would gain nothing from that kind of career and it was absurd for her to even be an entertainer when no one in the family had any musical background. After this rejection, Chaewon never brought it up again, but Jaeshin comforted her and told her to just go ahead and do it as no one is going to stop what she wanted to do except if she gave up on herself. Her brother told her it was her life to live and no one could control it, but her, herself.

2006. And so when Chaewon was eleven she participated in her school's music club and its activities as well as the drama club when they did musicals. She just loved the feeling of performing and singing the songs as another form of expression even though she didn't have any of the leading parts. Her parents of course assumed she gave up on the idea of music and was focusing all of her time on her academic extracurricular activities and attending cram school and the likes. Jaeshin helped covered for her on multiple occasions whenever she needed help for parental permissions as he would forged their signatures or pretend to be their dad. Jaeshin knew music made her happy and that she was able to find a way to filled up the void that their parents lacked.

2008. When Chaewon was thirteen it was when her parents went so far as to lock her in her room and bar her windows when they found out she joined a talent show by singing and not doing ballet. There was no way they could let her sneak off to such a ridiculous event to perform as a singer and not as a ballerina. Jaeshin put his foot down and told his parents off, which of course received him a smack to the face, but he told them that it was her dream and that they had no right to control her when they were never around. Since then, their parents kicked them out and hasn't seen them since.

2008-2010. And for two years Chaewon felt bad that it had caused her brother to drop out of college to provide for him and her and working many odd jobs to pay for their home, food, and her continual schooling. Jaeshin told her to not worry about it and that he'll take care of it all and to just go to school and audition for many entertainments to pursue a music career. So, Chaewon auditioned for SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment, but was rejected on multiple occasions every time she auditioned. Chaewon felt that she was a failure, but Jaeshin told her to not give up and that maybe the Big Three companies wasn't for her despite the company debuting successful artists. Anyways, at the age of fifteen, Chaewon ended up auditioning for this one company her brother told her about to which Jaeshin heard from one of his co-workers at the night club he worked part-time at that was holding auditions.

2010-2013. Chaewon became an official trainee of Open World Entertainment. She was thrilled to be training to be an entertainer, but she never thought she would also be a victim of the CEO's ual activities while being under the company in less than half a year. She never told her brother until the CEO was arrested in 2012 and Jaeshin quit his job at the night club that the CEO had once owned as to not be associated with that either. Chaewon was one of the lucky ones to not have been and assaulted on multiple occasions, but she was involved in a few incidents she wished had never happened to her and at her young age. Over time, once Chaewon had left the entertainment in January of 2013 when everything was settled. Chaewon was thankful that the media didn't release any names or pictures of the victims, she stayed away from the music industry for a while. It took a couple of months for Chaewon to regain her self-worth and her confidence as Jaeshin told her every day that she was stronger than this and is a strong and independent woman that will get through this dark part of her life.

2013. Chaewon did get through it with the help of Jaeshin having her enrolled in Taekwondo classes so just if anything happened she would be able to defend herself and what not. Also, she knew she had to get a good grip of her own reality to not wallow in self-pity, and focus on her dream once more. Chaewon auditioned for BigHit Entertainment when she went out eating with Jaeshin and he mentioned it upon noticing a flyer announcing they were looking for trainees. Chaewon was a bit reluctant, but with Jaeshin by her side this time around will all of his support and even accompanying her to her audition and giving it a second chance, she went with it. This time around, she focused on herself and only herself to not let history repeat itself and to not give up on that dream she was still pursuing. Chaewon made through the audtions with ease and became an official trainee at BigHit Entertainment.

INCIDENTS THAT OCURRED:

she was called in to the CEO's office late one night to the company and only his light were on in his office while everything else was completely dark. he wanted to discuss about her performance as o late while showing Chaewon her profile and actually hovering behind her and reaching over her. as he talked a lot, his hands would roamed aong her body, she was too scared to say anything.

another incident was when she was invited with other female trainees down the basement in the choreography rehearsal studio where she consumed dark liquids that were mixed with aphrodiascs. she was d and fondled, but before anything could go further she grew sick and vomited all over herself and others around her to which they sent her out so she wouldn't ruined the mood. she avoided dark colored drinks since then.

there was one time when she was with a few of the female trainees in the dance practice room where the CEO came down to observe them. he dismissed the dance instructor so he could observe the trainees with his own eyes. he requested for many of the traines to dance seductively alone and have her and the other girls run their hands all over their fellow trainees's bodies. after that he would take one of the girls for some reason and told the rest to continue on before he came on. the female trainee that was taken didn't return for the rest of practice.

STRENGTHS + WEAKNESSES:
Chaewon's strengths are within her vocals as they are amazing, but she has some difficulties every now and then with her breathing control and hitting certain notes if she doesn't warm up her vocal chords enough. Chaewon doesn't believe she has weaknesses as it's only a weakness if you compare it to another. So far her, it's just a lack of skills in it. She knows that she's not strong as a rapper because she feels like she can't get the flow right or hop on it with ease to just match with bars. As for her dancing, she's great at ballet and doing forms and postures, but she knows she at anything freestyling and prefers choreographed dances as it's easier to follow since it can be taught while moving freely is the rhythmn within your body.

Jaeshin and Chaewon are your typical set of siblings, but has a bond that makes them super close as Jaeshin was the one that watched over her and took care of her while the two were growing up. Jaeshin's protective of her yet also teases her the most. Jaeshin has a sister complex to which he neither confirms nor denies. While their parents weren't supportive of her decision to follow the path of music, Jaeshin was her pillar and strength that supported her all the way and stood up for her against their parents when she wanted to join the music industry at a young age. Anyways, ever since then, Jaeshin is the only one that she could depend on and rely upon even though his constant teasing and nagging at times is annoying, but she knows he means well. Sometimes Chaewon would wish he would just tone a down a bit now that they have gotten older. Still though, Jaeshin is her reason to continued with the choice she has chosen and to whom she owes everything to. Of course, she won't ever fully admit that to him out loud, but she still gives him credits for her being where she is now.


FRIENDS: bestie, Park Dasol, 21, University Student |
Dasol knows how to comfort people without being overly sweet and sugar-coating her words that doesn't really help the person. She can also be mischievous when she wants to be and depending on how close she is to the person as well. She likes being subtle and sneaky whenever possible, though. Overall, Dasol is super supportive and loves to cheer on her family and friends as it encourages them and brings up their spirit. So it's one of the many reasons Dasol is someone that Chaewon can depend and rely on whenever she can't get in touch with her brother, and who isn't as obnoxious as him. Chaewon trusts her a lot and knows that Dasol will always be there for her and vice versa since Dasol always wanted a sister and so does Chaewon. It was also because throughout school, Dasol had always made attempts to hang out with Chaeeewon even though it was quite difficult to do so on Chaewon's part. Anyways, Chaewon's genuine personality got through to Chaewon to open up herself to another person that wasn't just her brother and someone of the same gender who could relate more.

Chaewon likes going to her to ask for advice on how to dance better as well as how to express herself while dancing. Plus they come up with their warm up exercises before each dance practice along with The Jellyfish.

Chaewon feels like she can relate with her in a way due to their kind of dark background, but also with the teasing although Chaewon was never out of malice. Chaewon feels like she needs to make sure that The Turtle doesn't feel like she's worthless and has a lot to offer to the group and herself. Chaewon feels a bit overprotective of her.

Chaewon enjoys her company as she's an all rounder that can do a lot and help out here and there when she cannot. Also The Jellyfish comes up with the most exercise poses with her and The Octopus as well.

Chaewon feels like she's somewhat of her brother but as a female. Enjoys her company and how she doesn't let her age get in the way. Also feel like she can relate about the dancing except for the ballet part as Chaewon knows ballet helped with a lot of her forms.

PAST: none, just lots of crushes from her brothers' friends to celebries and idols. her brother still teases her about liking a lot of his friends and she hates him for that every time he brings it up just to annoy her. also hated the fact that it was because of him she never really had an actual relationship since he butted in all the time. feels like she'll never get a boyfriend or find someone romantically interested in. also due to her incidents at Open World Entertainment.
