Background — 
On Camera: Daehwan tries to kep himself very professional on camera, but he in truth has no shame. He enjoys having fun on variety shows and tries to be supremely himself at all times. He loves being around s who have become like famliy to him. When he performs,, it's pretty self-explainitory. As concepts chang, so does how he performs. If it's a dark concept, he'll perform it a little more edgy. If it's a light concept, he'll show off his smile. He's very adaptable. 

Off Camera: Cho Daehwan was born in Ulsan, South Korea on April 8th, 1992. He has two parents and a younger brother, Daejin. He had a pretty normal korean Childhood. His parents wanted him to try hard in school, he mad emany friends, and his younger brother was his favorite person.. The two of them from a very young age were really close. 

Daehwan started training with Jellyfish entertainment from the young age fo ten. he knew he wanted to be an idol pretty early in life so he got a head start on it with the blessing of his parents. His brother was also accepted into Jellyfish three years later when he was ten and Daehwan was thirteen. They trained together and developed the dream to be on stage together. 

They were both trained in guitar and Piano, and both took up the saxophone. Neither were expcting to get good, but it became a passion of theirs.

Daejin's dream of becoming an idol was cut short as when he was eleven years old, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, a form of blood cancer. Daehwan put a hold on his training so he could be there for and take care of his brother. Daehwan did what he could to keep his brother alive. He ended up getting a tattoo of a saxophone for his brother so he would always have a piece of him.  

His parents weren't the biggest help in keeping daejin alive. They were always convinced he would die and they did what they could do to make him comfortable. They never once believed that daejin would beat his cancer and it drove a giant wedge between them and Daehwan. He rarely talks to them anymore as he hasn't forgiven them for giving up on their son. Daejin doesn't have much contact with his parents anymore either.

Due to his curcumstances, Jellyfish have him a leave of absense, but eventually, they didn't see any profit in keeping him under their lable, so when he was fifteen, they dropped him. It was a devestating loss to him, but he kept a lot of it to himself while his brother was undergoing treatment. 

His brothr thankfully beat his cancer and recovered just fine. Though his body was too weak for him to resume his training, he wanted Daehwan to go back, fisnish and debut. Which is exactly what he did, but he couldn't go back to Jellyfish. So he debuted under Fantagio production company when he was twentyone. He lives with his brother now in seoul so Daejin can be close to a wellknown hospital. Daejin has a part time job to help support himself, but Daehwan mostly supports them both.

Fantagio started putting together this group back in 2011, but they didn't know if they wanted three, four, or five members. They weren't clear in concpts and they didn't have any trainees they were considering for the group. It took a year of development for the them to decide on a number of members and who those members would be. The three of them were notified in december of 2012 that they would be debuting together and their preparations began. The three of them worked day and night on their debut song, recording the album, and learning the choreography. 
Finally, on May 6th, 2014, they debuted with their first single, On the edge. 
Since then, they have put out two full length albums and three mini albums. They aren't as popular as they want to be, but k-pop fans know who they are.
Their biggest hit, Just Me, that came out in August of 2015 was number 5 on the top 100 charts and It gave them their first win at inkigayo. 

Appearance — Daehwan is a fan of sweaters and t-shirts. he only really wears jeans or swatpants. If he hasn't done any laundry, he'll wear his lone pair of basketball shorts. He likes beanies of all kinds and sweat shirts. He likes to be comfortable in what he's wearing. he enjoys what he wears when he's at an event, on camera, or on stage. He likes the formailty and sense of fashion that comes with them. He wishes he could keep every article of clothing they put him on, but alas! That isn't the case.

His ears are double pierced and he has a tattoo of a saxophone on his hip.

Daehwan is by nature a caring person. He doesn't know how not to be. He often says "The weight of caring is never a burden. It's a weight I'm happy to handle." People, animals, especially his brother. He will always care and rarely turns his back on people who need him. He is very protective of the people in his life. He's not bad to the point of over-protection, but he keeps a close eye on those he cares about. He never wants anything to happen to them, so he'll see to it that they are living comfortably. It's a very real thing to him that they might not be there the next day. His brother more than anyone. He is very self aware. He knows himself very well, he'll never cahcne himself for anyone, and he genuinely likes himself and what he can do. He has this ability to be proud of himself and laugh at himself. It's a self confidence no one else can give you. It comes from within. He has a sense of maturity about him that most don't have at a young age. He had to grow up faster than most kids would, but he doesn't see that as a weakness. He sees it as a strength and uses it in his everyday life. His attitude is much more well-rounded than other 25 year olds. He loves life. He has what it looks like to detest life, so he does what he can to get the most out of everything he does. You only get to live one time, and it's too short to do something you don't enjoy. 

He has an unshakeable optimism. It can of course lead him in the wrong direction and it can get unreasonable or impractical to a point, but he will always see the good in people and situtations. Things happen for a reason, and he'll always try to find that reason. He trusts people quite fast. He's not very judgmental so he never distrusts people until they give him a reason to. He hasn't found people in his life who have betrayed his trust very often, so he considers himself lucky. Put kindness into the world, and that's what you'll get back. He is a gigantic flirt. It's a control flirting, but he'll do it anywhere. Sometimes, he can't help it. WHEN he's out with someone, he's very aware of what he's doing, but when he's by himself, out at a grocery store or cafe, he'll turn his flirt game on. He has big dreams and they always get bigger and bigger. He never feels like he's peaked so he's always trying to do something better. His brother never got to achieve his dream, so Daehwan has a habit of dreaming for the two of them. It can get overwhelming and sometimes he bites off more than he can chew, but he never stops. No matter what. Though he loves life. He has a sharp wit and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind, whether it has the power to hurt people or not. Honesty is the best policy for him. He never intentionally hurts someone, but his wit can sometimes get the best of him.

Though he loves life, he lives it in fear to an extent. He is always afraid that his career will fail, or that his friends will leave him, or that he'll lose the people closest to him. It's unfortunately a form of ptsd from nearly losing his brother, but there is a fear that lingers in the back of his brain at all times. He has a habit of getting into other people's business. He always means well, but he just butts into conversations that don't involve him and asks really personal quiestions, not really having any verbal boundries. It's very invasive and he doesn't see that he has a problem. People avoid having personal conversations around him. As odd as it is that he likes to talk about others, he rarely talks about himself. He doesn't like to talk about his life and is very evasive when someone asks about his family. It's hard for him to talk about and he tries to avoid it when he can. As optomistic as he can be, when it comes to matters involving family, he is very pessimistic. Anything that could go wrong will becuase it always has. He doesn't have faith in anyone in his family other than his brother, ans he has an abvious distain in matter involving his family. He worries about his brother at all times of the day. When he's not performing or practicing or at an event meeting his fans, he's thinking about his brother. He misses him and thinks about him a lot. He worries something will happen while he's not there and imagines worse-case-scenarios quite often.
