Real Name vs. Pseudonym
I've been thinking lately.
If you're going to think of a way to market or establish a BRAND for your artworks, would you use your REAL NAME or a Pseudonym?
Like for example, Loish uses her pseudonym rather than using her real name Lois. But it's a play on her name so it's kinda nice that when pronouncing it, it's still her name, only played with.
Or Dr. Seuss. Theodore Seuss Geisel.
Or Mark Twain's real name is Samuel Langhorne Clemens.
I mean, if I were to brand my own artworks, I would prefer it to be in a pseudonym because I mean, who would want a shirt with my name as a brand (or maybe i'm just overthinking and just cringing at the fact of my name as a brand).
Like PewDiePie as well. When someone asks: What's that shirt?
You: "It's a PewDiePie shirt"
instead of
"It's a Felix Khjellberg shirt" (I think I spelled Felix's name wrong)
or "This is a MxR shirt" instead of "A Henry shirt"
do you guys get my drift?
