bcuz yeas, apparently i'm not done posting bout Voice...lol. (hey you clicked in at your own risk after i warned)

Anyway, random but did i already tell you guys that i have followed news about Voice since the drama's first mention before the production started? i think i was drawn to it bcuz initially the offer for Kwonjoo's character went to Bae Doona...who's my first fav actress that brought me into kdrama land which later shifted to kpop...even if her drama's not the first Kdrama i watched n this was like over 10 years ago...before her drama...all the dramas i watched annoyed me n didn't make me interested at all...but that one drama i watched got me (Funny Wild Girl/Country Princess...the drama made me a fan of Shin Sung Woo ahjussi too...i have all his old songs when he's a rocker xD...Kang Dongwon was in that drama too but he annoyed me lol....)...Then after Bae Doona rejected Voice and Janghyuk's in...there were several other actresses courted for the role...but in the end...all turned down as well...and then Lee Hana stepped in. I already have good impression on her...but seeing all the hate she got even before the drama aired...i was determined to follow this drama to the end(even though i was worried i'd be bummed bcuz the main actor is Janghyuk who's a really big name...which means he's naturally gonna get more spotlight when the drama's lead/focus was earlier said to be the female character)..cuz i want to see her acting shut off those annoying critics...cmon...her acting's never as bad as people make her to be...in fact, while she may not be your top tier super amazing actress...she's definitely so far from bad like...let's refrain from bringing names today shall we? lol..., I started reading recaps...and i was happy seeing people started praising her acting(though some are still criticizing..can't blame them if they're too exposed to overdramatic actors to think that's good acting)...but i never thought i'd be lured enough to the point of watching the drama(it's against my principle/rules of watching dramas other than the ones that air on our tv but cmon..i doubt any OCN dramas would be in our public channels...right now...it's always the TVN dramas aired here....with some from public channels...i don't have astro paid tv so...yeah). I'm glad Lee Hana got this role in the end...she has softer/more feminine vibe to her compared to say Bae Doona...so when she shows authority/determination/inner strength...it feels more...awesome. I mean, Bae Doona already look like she could be a badass so if her character turns out a badass it won't have that oomph factor anymore you get me?

Pretty much that's the story of how i got into Voice. it's like fate. lol.

So i've been stalking other sites like soompi etc. And get a lot of interesting stuffs and inputs...

Seems that after the drama right now the actors are busy with interviews n photoshoots with news sites...so far the ones that could be found it seemed are Lee Hana's and Baek Sunghyun's. And some fans have translated some of Lee Hana's interviews talking about her costars. Nice to read

It's nice to read about good atmosphere while working on stressful drama...Jang Hyuk sound like a really nice sunbae who takes care of everyone n not to mention, passionate n really hardworking actor...

i mean look at his script...

...i feel bad i hardly spazz about his character...but hey, he may be a nice guy and good actor but the character Jinhyuk is a little too cookie-cutter scarred tragic action hero for me...so the sentiment made it hard for me to focus on him (Edit: now that i've catched up on some eps i only read the recaps earlier...maybe i had been too harsh n maybe his character isn't as boring cliche as i thought...i like scenes that show his human side, not so much on the crazy dog side) ...but it's nice that he did rehearsal just for her and scolded her once lol...to make her stronger i guess(she did sound a lil scared of him...lol...just a lil, and a lot of respect)...and how he always passing caramels and candies to motivate them n keep them awake i guess n entertain them by always joking around...touching to hear how when she sees caramel now, she thinks of him n how she sees him as their leader (even though in the drama she is his superior/leader haa)...n how she even teared up a lil talking bout him...he must have been really nice.

and as for Taegu ssi(lol, she called him that, talking bout really awkward...maybe?) ..it's funny that she got so scared when she entered same car as him bcuz she's so absorbed in seeing him as Taegu.

Gentle and Taegu in same sentence though? /does not compute lol/ She seems to be really excited talking bout them...ahem particularly my ship...when she said they talked about music...i thought hmmm...isn't music like something she's passionate about? hmm...xD And they talked about working together again in romcom...whaaat...!!! where are all the PDnims...my ship has spoken...do something quick xD...actually...after seeing how bland romcoms can be...fluffy without substance...and after they've done something as cool as Voice...and considering it's not like they haven't done romcoms in the past (Lee Hana particularly is no stranger to quirky roles i think)...i'd rather a more mellow/serious/thoughtful drama...say... like On the Way to the Airport (beautiful cinematography...moody atmosphere and characters with emotional depth...although the spouses were kinda meh n could've been written better bcuz they're paving the roads way to easy for the leads to have legit reason to fall out of their marriage...especially the bad husband-which is a shame bcuz one of the reason i was interested was bcuz of Shin Sung Rok...lol...not really fan of the main actor/n his character somewhat irks me after sometime...but i like Kim Haneul n Choi Yeojin too...so i stayed for them....)...idk...it's so awesome seeing Lee Hana in a very authoritative character like this...

that i'm not ready to see her back as some bumbling heroine again just yet...screw romcom...what they had is better suited for better stuffs than romcom....and back to her interview, she also talked bout how nice Taegu ssi to bought ice creams n candies from convenience store for the staffs on white day...

But while her talking bout the guys' nice deeds were all over the interviews...i see in ocn channel's blog...saying there's an angel on the set...

Aww...yeah...my center leader Kwonjoo is the angel...so she too had been going around giving chocolates to everyone and chatting with them. don't you feel warm from all the givingness n the good spirit from the actors...i feel that the staffs must really like Lee Hana since she always talk about the staffs and posts pics with them, frankly, it makes her very likable...i find her a very unnir girlcrush material...maybe it's cuz of my age catching up on me...i don't see girlcrush as the kind of girlcrush as interpreted by kpop girlgroup concepts...sometimes...those concepts just come off as tryhard imo...being easygoing, warm, friendly and kind (without needing them aegyo) works more with me...and i guess it's a plus that she seems a lil awkward sometimes...lol. i always like the awkward ones..especially when they try to not be awkward but still come off as awkward.

Btw, Voice Special episodes are airing this weekend...~~and i'm just waiting to download the one aired tonight in a bit~~already watched lol...so this probly won't be the last you'll see of it...haa or maybe i'll get already too tired of spazzing after this?...they have Baek Sunghyun(Daeshik) and Son Eunseo(Eunsoo) narrating/MCing for the special ep thing...

are they trying to set up a love triangle for them and Yesung's character(Hyunho) in the drama's next season? lol...(it's OCN though...don't wish too hard for romance in their action series lol, they're too cool n badass for that...lol. though it seems ocn is branching into nonaction romance series too these days...) those two were so awkward since they barely had scenes together. it's cute seeing them trying really hard to make some connections and communicate to get rid of awkwardness especially on Baek Sunghyun part, even showing jealousy that Eunsoo is always with Hyunho n he only had Jinhyuk. Daeshik needs to appreciate having his fav hyung, Jinhyuk cmon. Still...as much as i like Daeshik with Jinhyuk....he still did wrong to Kwonjoo by sabotaging her and kept making her look bad to Jinhyuk in those earlier episodes...did he ever apologized to her for working for the bad guys n framed her despite whatever justification? -_-...however, Daeshik manage to make me feel sad for him when i'm not thinking of what he did to Kwonjoo...so...that's good acting too.

This drama really thought me the importance of good acting...i feel like stellar acting from all casts and how they bring dimention n a lil depth to their barely developed character by making viewers feel their emotions and understand them helped this drama to cover up its many flaws...n elevated the overall quality. I mean...down to every minor character, every victim, n villain...all were portrayed so good...this quality acting from all casts gives me dejavu Misaeng vibe all over again...i remember in Misaeng when even the small not-so-positive character could make me feel sad for them bcuz of that good acting.

Afterall despite its flaws, this drama did have a beautiful message/motivation...dedicating it to the unheard voices of victims in real cases that weren't able to be saved on time bcuz of the system/procedure...it's almost like a suggestion/challenge to the police to make a change because for those people in emergency....time matters. and that's badass n powerful. Respect for scriptwriter unnie. i also see some people interpreting it as how Kwonjoo use her ability to hear the voice of good n do the right thing....whereas Taegu, who has sick mental probly hear the voice of evil n let himself be lured by it and ended up doing all the killings. n became a monster.i like when dramas stir people to think of the deeper message/meaning lies underneath it all. That's badass too. ;)

Surprisingly or not...they have VERY little scenes together in the drama...but...the amount of shippers n shipping are totally growing...every site i go to...i'll see shipping comments and supports...haha...please notice, casting PDnims/Scriptwriters or whoever with that power to choose actors...in fact, i think it's the growing shipping that led to more fanservicey scenes/interactions/dialogues in the last ep...who knows...i might be wrong n the dialogues/scenes might have been planned beforehand...which would be even better tbh.

rooftop scene : (if people hadn't started shipping them earlier...well, i did even before they met...lol...they definitely would start after the final ep..it can't be helped really...tbh, i was wondering why he didn't even strangle her n just held her by the collar if he's really going to kill her anyway?...there were so many proof from final ep that he could never bring himself to kill her...he just keep insisting it since otherwise, the drama would veer into romance territory which i don't think the drama intended at all-but somehow they developed Mo Taegu in such a way that it became a strong possibility...or was that just the acting :p?)

Behind the scenes:

Seeing Kwonjoo and Taegu engaging in conversation/discussing still weirded me out even if i ship them lol...bcuz in the drama they're always just threatening/preaching to each other n the mood is always tense. That's the power of good acting. (i mean..if even Lee Hana almost screamed out of fear when she went into same car as dude while in between filming break bcuz she saw him as Mo Taegu...)
