Clara enjoyed the idea of following her grandfather but Clara's father decided he wanted to be in politic. He found a job in New York, at the Macusa and the family had to move there. Clara and her twin sister Amanda were immediately enrolled in Ilvermorny but Clara never lost her passion for dragon caring, something that only extended to other species as she discovered them.
The first school years of Clara at ilvermorny were rather uneventful but always punctuated with happy times. at one point her best friend Yana told Clara that she was half-vampire, but that didn't change anything. Very comfortable on a broomstick, Clara became adepts of broom sports and began playing Quidditch as a Chaser. A hardworking student, she believed good grades were important if she wanted to reach her goal: to ultimately return to China as a Magizoologist.

With the permission of Ilvermorny's headmaster, Yana owns a bedroom on her own, which is often invaded by Clara who much prefers the presence of her friend and enjoys having a quiet room to talk. Yana shared her secret with Clara after a few years of loyal friendship. Because of her race's bad reputation and questionable acts, Yana aspires to be a Healer, doing as much good as she can to balance the weight of her mere existence.

"It's much better than the other schools", she told him before going to sit with her sister. While two of the house carving reacted for Clara, three reacted for Jungkook and he became a bit of a celebrity. He chose Pukwudgie, instead of horned serpent or thunderbird, because he remembered the explanation Clara gave him about the houses. When he found out later she was also choosing Pukwudgie, he approached her and they became friends. Jungkook is constantly in awe when it comes to anything magical since he wasn't raised in that evironment and isn't quite sure on what he should do once he graduates.

While Mei was a kind cousin when Clara was younger, they haven't kept in touch enough to keep a good relation. Now, all that Clara knows about her cousin is the the woman does not approve of Clara just waltzing in her business without her approval, even though Clara was chosen by their grandfather and not Mei.

By now, his hatchery is more directed toward protecting and mainting the creatures under control, occasionally lending one for special event when the governement agrees, as was the case during the 1994 Triwizard Tournament. Zhangwei is wise and kind and an excellent wizard, particularly versed in the arts of Divination and Alchemy, as well as a great caretaker for magical creature. He is an expert Dragonologist and his methods are based on patient, acceptance and mental strenght. He used to accept some students but ever since Clara was young, he promised her to give her the business when she'd be of age, reading in the tea leaves that she would become a great Dragonologist. He used to train her from a young age, until she moved to New York. This slightly strained his relationship with Amanda, who believed she was not being cared as much, and Mei who stayed in China and wanted to inherit the business only to be told that she, unlike her younger cousin, did not have what it takes. STRENGTH — six, while it's not her strongest suit, Clara believes she is strong enough. Enough to open jars on her own anyway, which is more than enough.
SPEED — four, when it comes to walking, she's a turtle. All her actions are on the slow side, unless there is a sense of urgency. She was also said she runs like a grandma. Even though on a broom, she's like lightning. It's a bit of a mystery, really.
STAMINA — six, Clara is not particularlygood when it comes to endurance, but she is not bad either. Years of broom sports made her endurant enough to be able to fly laps around the fields many time, but only run for about a mile before wanting to collapse.

STAMINA — six, Clara is not particularlygood when it comes to endurance, but she is not bad either. Years of broom sports made her endurant enough to be able to fly laps around the fields many time, but only run for about a mile before wanting to collapse.

WIT — seven, when it comes to intellect, Clara is a bit better than average but defenitely not a genius type. If anything, she is a hard worker who will study to get the appropriate grade. HOW DID MAGIZOOLOGY PIQUE YOUR INTEREST? — (smiles sweetly) I was always lead to believe by my grandfather that I would succeed him as a dragon breeder and that I had to learn how to care for them. That meant being courageous and caring, never afraid of the beasts and strong enough to get them to comply, but also kind enough to know when to give way. (pauses with a wide grin) Grandfather said raising dragons was like raising children who always wanted to play, but those children could breath fire and crush you with a single finger. (giggles)
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE GATHERING OF THIS "RESCUE" TEAM? — I believe it is an extremely good thing. (opens eyes wide and nods) Animals shouldn't be used and should be protected. THOUGHTS ON CONSTANTLY CARRYING THE SUITCASE EVERYWHERE YOU GO? — (frowns a bit before smiling) Mine can become quite light so it's no bother at all. Although some people will wonder how I carry my clothes and personal items with me, most don't dare question it too much. I find it easier to fly under the radar with such a inconspicuous bag.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE BEAST IN PARTICULAR? — I have a thing for dragon. (smiles) I come from a long line of dragon breeders, after all. Eventually, I would have loved to take on the family business. My cousin is doing that, now, so I may just go work with her. (purses lips, pondering the situation for a moment) I quite love my pet hawk that serves as messenger. I guess you could say that reptiles and bird are my forte. I like animals that fly, since I am well-verse in flying too. (bites her bottom lip and giggles, thinking about the last quidditch game she was in) It is a mystery how I got a cat patronus charm, even though I find it rather cute and enjoy it. (laughs)
A BEAST THAT CAUSES YOU MUCH TROUBLE? — most mammals are quite troublesome. Some are rather big and hard to handle while some others are just too small and sneaky. I have no patience when it comes to running around trying to deal with an invisible creature or one that wants to play. (frowns)
A RANDOM THOUGHT, BUT OPINIONS ON MUGGLES OR NO-MAJ'S? — I have nothing against them, but I would rather deal with people who know of the magical situation, let's say. I find that no-majs are just so oblivious to the reality of the world. It is so easy to trick them. Sometimes they can be so helpless, I really wonder why they became the most numerous ones instead of us. It's not like I actually have a problem with keeping secrets, though. I love being part of a secret community. And I'm always welcoming to nomaj-born wizards. I will gladly welcome them to the community. ANYTHING TO SAY? — basically, Clara is a positive and naive person but with great potential (and luck since she has survived all this time) and I'm hoping that plunging her in a fight against the dark wizards will finally lead her to realize the world is not all good. :)
