Call me delusional or on drugs or whatever but....

I've been thinking of this, like during dinner, which typically is a place to socialise yet we never do so while our parents chat - 

Stop. 

The Chinese has a proverb, which basically means that nothing in the world is certain. 

What if the world we are living in is merely an illusion?

What if everything that are classified as 'facts' are actually just 'truths' 'professionals' like scientists made us believe because they have enough 'proof' to make their 'theories' on?

What if those who take drugs are the ones who're actually looking at the 'real' world? 

What if history are just fragments of imagination that historians made up, and people chose to believe them as again, there is enough proof? 

What if you don't actually exist? 

Now, don't get me wrong, I love history, but the thing is, how the hell do you know whatever you're studying, whatever you're reading about, is certain and true? Technically you don't. If you think your age is something that is true and is certain, let me ask you this: Is time certain? How are you sure about the amount of years, amount of months, days, hours, minutes or seconds you're living or when you're born? 

You don't know, right? 

You believe in the 'facts', correct? 

Just because everyone knows and thinks they're real, doesn't make it real. 

A few centuries ago people would think computers are a joke. Now they're used everywhere. 

Just think. 

How much of this is true and how much isn't? 

You're touching a piece of wood with your fingers. 

Maybe it's not a piece of wood. 

Maybe you're not touching anything. 

How do you know for sure it's called ing wood? 

Maybe your eyes are decieving you, as your brain has been, which might've been programmed to show only pleasant things (that's why so many es exist tbh  but anyways) and not the real 'truth'? 

Perhaps our lives are just a fragment of imagination and we're all dead.

Now, I don't want to offend anyone (diss me or report me as much as you like) 

but 

how do you know the Bible is true? 

Maybe there isn't a deity 

Maybe the whole thing is someone's work 

Like a book

 

 

Is that music you're hearing? 

What note is it? 

Some people say it's a mixture of notes, some say it's just one

Maybe one of them are right

You heard one, but it's actually a mixture and no one could hear the same

 

Or those who are colourblind; 

maybe it's the real colour of the world

maybe the world is washed of its colour or are varying shades of red and green, yellow and blue

History is false
