PERSONALITY:

What does the world see? At first glance and impression, Felix is pretty easy to guess. A charming, upbeat, confident social butterfly who works hard, is loyal, bold, witty, sassy, clingy, isn't afraid of saying his opinions, utterly shameless and embarrassing.

A lot of what they see is true. Felix is the embodiment of charm - everyone's eyes naturally gravitate to him. He can also charm the socks off of anyone too - even JYP (though he wouldn't admit it). He's also a pretty vibrant character. He's so full of enery, enthusiasm and a zest for life. Also, he's pretty optimistic - he'd rather see the positive side of things than the negative side. It's rare to see him moping or sulking around (well, not physically, but that's a story better left to the background).

He's confidence incarante. He knows what he's good at and what he's good at but isn't afraid to admit it. Sometimes, he can seem arrogant though (he's completely blind to this, shhh). He's really friendly and sociable so he can make friends literally everywhere. His confidence helps Felix in being so totally shameless. He's so secure in himself, so why not? He will do literally anything without a speck of shame of shame. Since he's shameless, he can be pretty embarrassing. Want him to dress up in a bear suit and sing "Three Little Bears"? Or even wear a maid costume and dance ily? Or maybe crack the most awful parent jokes? He's your guy. He's also the guy who is pretty daring - he's open to anything and everything.

Felix is a loyal guy so expect him to stick to the people he cares about to hell and back. He's pretty hardworking too - he gives his 150% and it's not rare to see him sneak in some extra practice to perfect something. He's also witty and sarcastic - though it changes between comedic humor, sass and savagery depending on his mood or the atmosphere of the room. Felix isn't afraid to say his two cents either and will stick to it unless proven wrong (which is really hard to prove). He's also a pretty clingy guy - he finds it hard to leave the people he cares about alone due to what happened with his twin.

But they don't see some things too. Because he's so larger than life, most people don't really bother to know how deep he is. He's so open-minded and is very unprejudiced. He tries not to judge anyone (he fails sometimes though) and he's open to new ideas. Felix is also a guy with a big heart - he really has a lot of room in her heart. He cares a lot, is very considerate and is really compassionate. He likes helping people and making sure everyone is okay. He's really protective of those he cares about because of what happened with his twin. He really doesn't like them getting hurt.

He's also a pretty observant guy. He knows what makes people tick, what probably made them like that and what their mood is. Sherlock Holmes helped a lot. Felix is a strong-minded person. He knows what he wants, his opinions and himself, and he won't let anyone tell him otherwise.

Troublemaker. -stirrer. Drama-stirrer. No matter which you pick, that's what he is.  He likes stirring the pot of drama to see the results. Causing (metaphorical) fires is his thing. Usually, it ends up with people worked up over each other. He does it for the lulz his and other people's amusement and has the purest intentions (as pure as someone with the nickname "Sinnamon Roll" can be), he knows that, everyone around him knows that. It's just he's so good at causing fires that they turn into burning infernos. It takes a while for people to cool down and realize everything was just for amusement (usually people get a good laugh when they do, others don't). Tl;dr: he's the one guy in variety shows or dramas who stirs the drama out of amusement and not in mean spirit, but it ends up blowing up in his face. (Examples I can think of: Lee Kwangsoo or Haha when in Running Man, the character Yeowool in "Hwarang: The Beginning" and the character Gu Yongha or Yeorim in "Sungkyungkwan Scandal" - though it doesn't really blow up in their faces for the latter two.)

He's an unstoppable force you just can't predict. Even people who's known him for so long have hard times prediciting him. This helps his shameless, wittiness and embarrassing personalities.

So, who am I? To sum up his personality, he's an embarrassing, protective, caring, clingy drama queen of a mom who is too strong in his opinions and likes to cause trouble but at the same time is more than he looks. A lot of people are reminded by Regina George's Mom in the movie "Mean Girls" when he's being embarrassing because, let's face it, he would probably do this too. People also thinks he's this bold, vibrant, opinionated, sassy force of nature but turning a blind eye to the fact that he's one of the freaking fluffiest people on Earth.

BACKGROUND: 

Once Upon A Time. Junhee Felix Moon, along with his older twin brother Kwanghee Lucas Moon, was born on December 25, 1999 to Faith Mathews, an American dance teacher and famous choreographer, and Myungsoo Alexander Moon, a Korean businessman who moved to America. Three years later sees the birth of their younger sister, Minhee Mae Moon.

Who And What Made Me, Well, Me. The Moon family was a spirited and joyful family. Though Alexander was a businessman, he was the fun-loving, outgoing businessman who could charm just about anyone. Faith was a gentle and supportive mother who could turn into an ambitious and strict taskmistress when it comes to her career. Mae was a bubbly ball of sunshine who, though a bit naive and a ditz, had a big heart Lucas was the ambitious, forgetful brother who was loud, boisterous, outgoing and funny. Felix felt content with his lot in life - yes, the family did have their fights, but in the end they knew they all loved each other. While Mae had a knack for the arts and his twin loved acting and modelling, Felix lived and breathed music, especially dance. He grew up with his mother teaching him after he showed an interest in it. Vocal lessons only came when he was 10 years old. He likes all kinds of music but only showed interest in Kpop when he was 11 years old.

Going Through The Unimaginable. On June 26, 2012 Lucas died. It was completely out of the blue. The boys were taking Mae to the mall to get her some new clothes for a neighbor's daughter's birthday party. In true form, ambitious but forgetful Lucas remembered he had an audtion for a commercial in thirty minutes and practically begged his twin to "please let him go - I promise to pay for Mae's clothes." Felix laughed and told him to run along. Lucas did as told and crossed the road but not before telling his brother that "you and Mae should come along; especially you, you're your older twin's lucky charm after all!" (Later on, Felix thinks that Lucas said that so that he and Mae would follow him.) However, before Felix could reply, a drunk driver hit his twin. It was like slow motion - his brother's grinning face and relaxed body suddenly being hit by a red (redlikehisbloodtherewassomuchblood) car, making it twist and turn in the air before landing on the groun with a sickening thud. Lucas was immediately sent to the hospital but died during surgery. It was one of the worst days in the Moon family's lives.

Life Goes On. It was hard for the Moons, to be honest. Everything seemed to remind them of Lucas - the weird art sculpture on their mantelpiece that he just had to insist they have, the "Welcome Home" mat which he had picked, the licorice he loved to eat in the candy jars on the counter, the smell of the pine scent of the air freshener in the car that Lucas hated and yet never got the chance to replace.

Their parents buried themselves in their work, trying to wrap their minds around the fact that their eldest child was gone. Mae was painting depressing pieces in order to get the heavy feeling of sadness and grief. Felix was the one who had the hardest time trying to cope - he didn't go to school or his other lessons for a week, his grades dropped, he would scream and destroy things in his room and he wouldn't even do anything music related. Lucas was his best friend, his brother, his twin, the other half of his soul and now he was gone. Felix wouldn't wake up to his brother's incessant poking, or hear his loud, boisterous laugh (LucasalwayslaughedalittletooloudbutIwoulddoanythingtohearitagain). Lucas would never be able to graduate college, or have a family of his own or even accept the Academy Awards he so dreamed of. His body (sopaleunmovingnotright) was now boxed inside a coffin, six feet underground. The rest of the family understood Felix. The brothers had always had a special connection. Heck, even they could admit that in their darkest nightmares where everyone they loved dies, it was always FelixandLucas and never JustFelix or JustLucas when they see the dead bodies in their nightmares. Felix had to cope to being JustFelix, a boy who was once a part of a single unit and who had lost a huge part of himself the day his twin brother died (griefsadnesspainhe'sgonelonelinessnotmytwinplease).

Four months later, Felix and Mae decided they couldn't take it anymore and practically begged their parents to let them move in with their paternal grandparents and let them go to school in Seoul, because "America was just too full of Lucas, mommy, appa, please." Their parents agreed and the remaining Moon children moved in with their grandparents and adjusted to Seoul life. The family learned how to move on, because that's what's life is about. Sure, it still hurts thinking about Lucas, but now they dwell on the happy moments they spent with him and the way he looked as he always did - vibrant, happy, ambitious - because they know he wouldn't want them to be sad and full of grief because of his death. Though hearts a bit heavier and minds a bit darker than before the incident, the family went back to the vivacious, happy family that they used to be.

I Wanna Be A Star. Well, not really. I just wrote that because I wanted to include a SIXTEEN reference. Felix was 15 years old when he was spotted by a JYP scout while dancing and singing at his middle school's festival but couldn't outrun him like those SM and Pledis scouts (a bit of a long story - basically, an SM scout saw him at a park and chased him but he managed to escape; the same thing happened with the Pledis scout, except he was at an animal shelter at the time). The scout told him he looked like a guy who liked music and that he should audition. Maybe it was spontaneity, the fact that he was (unlike Pledis and SM) scouted for his talents and not his looks, or that small voice in the back of his head that suspiciously sounds like his dead twin telling him to "get your in gear and take this chance," but he accepted. He went to audtion, showed his dance skills, since he's more comfortable showing off his dance skills than his vocal ones, and actually got in.

SIXTEEN 2 With JYP. Felix is the trainee everyone is comfortable with - he never judges, always seems to knows what to do, actually listens to you and being his caring self. He usually breezed through dance classes (his perfectionist of a mom is stricter than his new teachers), took to acting and modelling like a sponge (Felix had cried at his room in his grandparents' house after his first acting and modelling lessons, because they were just so Lucas, his heart felt heavier than normal), had a moderate amount of difficulty with singing - especially with his high voice, and was so bad at rap that it wasn't funny anymore. When he heard about the survival show, he decided to channel his brother's ambitious nature and did everything to prove to everyone else - not himself, because he knows can do it - that he should be a contestant.

x Extreme Weather // He gets hot and cold easily. Didn't stop him from going to that vacation in the Alps though, he thinks the adventure there was totally worth the cold
x Drunkards // He can deal with people drinking alcohol and even drinks alcohol sometimes, but he absolutely hates people who get drunk all the time, like the man who hit his brother.
x Fakes // He can deal with es, attention , jerks but people who pretend they're not who they really are? He can take hiding some parts of your personality (as some celebrities do) but whole? No way.
x When people call him short // He's not short okay? His height is just right!
x When people he cares about get hurt // He'll hover and worry until he knows your better.
x Loneliness // He hates the feeling of loneliness, it's so suffocating.
x Hospitals // It was the place his brother died. Hospitals can be good but knowing his twin died in one causes him to try ad avoid it unless he has to.
x Beets // He just doesn't like the taste.

x Felix puts something (like a lollipop or the top part of a pen, sometimes even the tip of his thumb) in his mouth and lightly bites it when he's curious or bored.
x He bites on his bottom lip or taps his fingers to a beat whenever he's anxious.
x He likes to cling to people when she's scared.
x His cheeks puff up and his eyes shine brightly when he's on the verge of crying or frustrated.
x His left eye twitches when he's on the verge of being pissed off.

╳ Felix at ball games, unless it's table tennis. In the other games, all the balls always end up hitting him on the face.
╳ For his birthday, he would love to receive presents but would love it even more if people would donate to charity or nonproft organizations.
╳ He would also most likely give fans gifts on her birthday.
╳ He isn't afraid of doing aegyo to get what he wants.
╳ A hardcore Starlight, iGOT7, ARMY, Blink, and Once. He makes it his job to know every VIXX, GOT7, BTS, BLACKPINK and TWICE song, dance and fact. Though a bit obsessive, he's not a crazy fan. Thank goodness or else JYP will actually lock him up
╳ He thinks his best feature is his eyes.
╳ He has a bad sense of direction. This is the reason hy she always has his phone (for the GPS) or a map.
╳ Felix is very flexible. People wonder if he even has bones and he may or may not like creeping people out by showing them exactly how flexible he is.
╳ He hasn't had a relationship before.
╳ But is pretty good at giving relationship advice.
╳ Felix has the smallest hand ever. They're so tiny and cute.
╳ He believes clothes aren't feminine or masculine (unless it's underwear - they are designed for the differences in the anatomy so he's okay with them being labelled for males or females but hey, if you like them why not?) so he'd wear a skirt if he wants (he's still blessing NU'EST's Ren for his skirts and dresses photoshoot, f(x)'s Amber for her fashion sense, and BTS for their gender stereotype-breaking photoshoot).
╳ He's protective towards everyone he cares about - whether they're younger or older than him is irrelevant. Just because they're older doesn't mean they won't get hurt.
╳ Felix calls his fanclub Diamonds because he believes that everyone is precious and valuable.
╳ He actually sincerely hopes he would still grow taller. (Damn it everyone. Stop being so tall).
╳ His blood type is O-.
╳ He's a blood donor.
╳ He does charity work and volunteers at practically anything - animal shelters, counselling, teaching handicapped children, visiting hospitals (not exactly his favorite but people need comforting) and the like.
╳ Volunteering, donating his blood and doing charity work became his (good) way to cope with his brother's death after coming to Seoul but he eventually found out that he genuinely loved doing it.
╳ He has a high metabolism.
