PERSONALITY :　Ila is a very secretive person who rarely opens up. Her mysterious nature draws people toward her and she will always stay polite and gentle, but without allowing people to close to her heart. A loyal friend and easygoing person, Ila enjoys having a close-knit circle of trust and decides on her own and carefully who she lets in or not. People who come to Ila for advice always end up wondering what the meaning of her words could be. Wise beyond her years, Ila always leaves a sense of mystery in the air. Despite her wisdom, Ila knows she isn't extremely smart, which is why she believes it better to leave the decision-making to others.  

Appearing as a warm and fun individual, Ila prefers to stay a bit in the background and observe. She always holds the role of the big sister of the group, often the only mature and adult one. Ila likes to believe that it is her duty to let the kids play to their heart content, following them silently in their endeavours and ultimately helping them if they get into trouble. She understands that sometimes chaos is necessary to find balance. A very understanding person, Ila's motto seem to be "Live and let live". She enjoys taking life one day at a time and tend to not overanalyze thing, or not analyze them at all.

Ila believes herself to be a realist and knows that she is not special, only that she wish to be the better normal person she can be. She is very satisfied of herself, but not because of overconfidence, Ila has accepted her diverse flaws and learnt that she likes herself that way after all. However, Ila has done things in the past she is not proud of and will always be looking for redemption. While she is okay with the way she is now, she is ashamed of who she used to be. The way she grew up made her quick to judge people based on how they carry themselves and the general attitude, a trai she used to realistically believe that nobody should be trusted. Her distrust of the strangers she meet is only emphasized by her loyalty to her friends and how much faith she has in them.

Often thinking to herself, Ila's head is full of darker thoughts she fight everyday to keep afloat. She hides all of it behind a facade of all the best. She appears so perfect people scarcely try to poke holes in her armor and she is left alone, quiet, in peace. Her kind and genial face, her poised attitude and her warm smile always manage to ease the fear people naturally feel when they see her. They usually don't even realize that they were afraid of her, too busy melting under her quiet radiance. However, people should be wary because she is a natural-born killer. With the instinct and the strenght of her specie, once Ila is angered she can wreck havoc on the world, beoming the cold, violent and calculating person she once was and is trying very hard never to become again. To make Ila angry, she has to feel threatened either herself or if she believes someone she cares for is in danger. While she remains phlegmatic most of the time, Ila hates to lose her time. Naturally impatient, Ila usually tries her best to control that aspect of her personality by rationalizing and trying to be as understanding as she can be. However, Ila will often pronouce herself against ideas or things that will take too long without serving any purpose. A feat given that she usually doesn't express herself and just let others make the decisions.

In a nutshell, Ila is haunted by her past and this constantly make her trive to be a better person but has also lead her to constantly doubt herself and sell herself short. Ila shows the world a charming and friendly personality but usually maintains a distance to keep people from getting too close. She keeps her heart and her head a mystery which only manages to draw more people in. Still, she is dangerous and people should be careful not to mess with her or her friends or to make her lose her time. In the way to make herself a better person, she accomplish what she should do, but has long forgotten what is it she wants to do.

BACKGROUND :　It is not secret that Zootopia is not perfect. Underneath the beautiful facade of the city runs deep underground secret organizations who will do questionable acts for money. Ila's family was one of such organizations. Orcas, also called Killer Whales, are known to be at the top of the food chain when it comes to ocean life.  Orcas Hybrids like Ila's family are no exceptions. Ila was raised in an environment where she was encouraged to be ruthless and only think about herself. Employed as a recovery agent for her family, Ila had to take care of bringing back people who were wanted or items that were lost. Along the way, she encountered many different issues and she usually delt with them using her sharp pointy teeth and her family's influence. But one day, while on the job, she met Stella and her hybrid friends and they were everything Ila wanted to be. It had been a while now since Ila had felt like her life was not going in the right directions and her family was pretty disappointed at how she was "going soft" on them. This was the wake-up call Ila needed to realize that she could be whatever she wanted to be. A good person, even. And that she could choose her family. So she packed her bags and told her family goodbye. Se was without family or support,  and yet she had never felt less lonely because she was finally happy with herself. Her family let her go without any trouble, thinking she'd be back soon if they just let her go through her adolescent crisis. To this day, they are still sure she will come running back with her tail between her legs, unaware of the fact she is in the human world. In the human world, Ila who likes water, managed to find a job on a restaurant on the Hangang River Ferry Cruise as a waitress. She's paid decently and make good tips. Ad she get to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of Seoul. Her job is mainly to replenish the buffet. Ila shares her time between job, home and the pool. If she's not home, she's definitely at the pool. 

TRIVIA :

▸ likes fish. Raw fish in particular. Tartar, sushis, kimbap, gravlax... Mhmm! So tasty
▸ likes bread too. Croissants, naan, melon bread, Ila's policies is "No bread left behind".
▸ likes the color black and attempted to dye her hair black more than once. The color just doesn't take. To hairdressers it's a mystery.
▸ dislikes nuts

▸ loves winter and the snow
▸ is never cold, even when she wears little to no clothes. 
▸ known to be neither neat nor messy. She's just average and she does chores at her own pace.
▸ Has her own fanclub and they always come to see her at work.
▸ Not everyone in the hybrid squad knows of Ila's past.
▸ She has the humor of a dad. She makes dad jokes and bad jokes and she just isn't funny most of the time. "Get it, I was a Lake and now I'm a Bay!" "..." "It was funny, wasn't it?" "...You're hopeless..."
▸ She feels uneasy when she isn't near water. The Han river is a relief for her and she likes it.
▸ One of the first things she noticed when arriving in Seoul was the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain/Banpo Bridge and how much she'd like to go swim underneath the fountain. 
▸ She is a Orca hybrid.
▸ likes swimming and goes to a pool every time she's free.

One of the only people that Ila will ever let close to her heart and also one of the few who knows of her past. They live together and Ila often feels the need to babysit Stella. They are known as the Black And White Duo.

Joonmyeon is the reason Ila can get more time in the pool. When she asks Joonmyeon, he is just so nice with her. He even turns the light off for her, which she assured him she doesn't find scary contrary to what he might think. She enjoys floating in the water in the dark, let all her trouble disappear. He is always so nice with her because he has a little crush on this mysterious and beautiful woman that always come to swim at closure time.
