this is not a new issue...i've been seeing it especially increasing in power the past recent years especially.

And i've ranted bout it but i feel like ranting again.

But just bcuz everyone's doing it doesn't make wrong into right.

Every freaking time i go to random songs videos...especially old songs or if the song had been covered by more current/popular singers(idols especially) or had been mentioned by them...or used as background song in some hyped/popular drama/variety show...you know the kind of comments that 100% will be there. correction, a 100000000%.

"Here cuz of oppar/unnir/show"

"Oppar's version so awesome."

I'm like shiet! can't you go lay down the bragging n praises for oppars at their own damn videos? Instead of at the original singer's vid? like whut the hell???! That thirst to brag n do cheap promo. What makes you think anyone want to know who brought you there?

Some of these yt accounts belong to the actual singers...and what do you think they'd feel seeing none of the comments is about them or their song but some random cover? (Even if it doesn't belong to them, doesn't make it an ok attitude. Look at it this way, how would you as a writer feel if someone go to your fanfic and commented about someone else's fic instead there, or you see such comments praising a different fic at your favourite fic's comment section...) I mean....heyyyy common sense?! basic manners!

What/How would you feel if the same shiet is done to your oppar's videos?

But for me...it only leaves me with bad impression on your oppar unnir too.

As much as you'd disagree and as much as this sound like a generalization which i too, hate...(but when more than a couple fans behave in such a way...it just can't be helped..especially when those rude comments always get tons of upvotes n make it to top comments), to me fans are more or less reflection of idols. Good idols will somehow lead to their fans wanting to be as respectful n repectable as them. Blah ones will have blah fans. And that doesn't depend on popularity. In fact, if it does...often the more popular idols' fans tend to show this attitude out of their pride for oppar unnir.

Yeah, i feel like some/more people would be angry with this post since this is probly a widely accepted behaviour for whatever shiet reason...but you know what...i don't care. it's not like me ranting it would change the situation anyway.
