► Hyo Seon is the model student. She doesnt lie, she is upright and gets things done on time. She would rather stay in and practice than go out and party. She keeps her eye on the prize and doesnt get distracted easily. She is incredibly respectful, even to some of those who dont deserve it. Her morals are high and she doesnt let people change them.
Hyo Seon is incredibly confident in herself. She knows what she can do and she knows what she is good at. She doesnt have an ego, but she knows she is skilled. She is very good at getting people to listen to her as well. People tend to trust her and find themselves telling her all their secrets. She is quite mature for her age as well. People never assume she is part of the maknae line. She doesnt let her emotions rule her life, rather she leads with her head. She thinks things through before doing it, she cant do things spur of the moment. She hates to even think of doing things spur of the moment.
Things have to be perfect for Hyo Seon. She hates leaving things half done and they have to be done right. If they arent she will stay and finish it until it is. She herself is her biggest project. She will not rest until her dance or vocals are perfection. She will tell the others that they are good, but she has to be perfect, if she hasnt reached perfection she will work and work till she gets there.

► I Hyo Seon was born early morning May 19, 1994 and her parents were elated for it. She lived in Seoul for just over a year before her parents accepted a mission in Kisumu Kenya. They had a rather nice house on Lake Victoria and that is where Hyo Seon grew up. In their home, they only spoke Korean and followed the korean way of life.
For children, life in Kisumu was almost all about having fun. Hyo Seon it was no different. She played and danced with all the children, it was just fun and games. However for her, the dancing was a bit more than just fun. She really loved to dance and she danced at home all the time. Her parents let her have her own, they assumed she would grow out of it one day but she didnt.
When she was 12 things in Kenya got really bad. Hyo Seon was sent back to Seoul to live with her aunt but her parents stayed in Kenya. They didnt want her around the fighting but they couldnt leave. In Seoul, her aunt put her right into Seoul Arts High School. She mainly danced while there, but she was required to take more classes. Her aunt suggested she try rapping.
The first year of school, Hyo Seon’s dance class had an assignment that they were to prepare for an audition. Everyone went about the assignment like it was just an assignment but when it came time to present their assignment there was a panel of judges that they all recognised. THey were CEOs from six entertainment companies around Seoul. Once everyone presented one of the CEOs said thank you for applying  and they will contact anyone who made it. No one thought they would make it, they didnt even really try.
Two days later Hyo Seon was contacted by YG Entertainment.

trainee years / 7 years

TRAINEE LIFE / Training was hard, no other way to say it. She was still in high school while she was training, but she managed it incredibly well. When she was seventeen she was called into the team managers office. She was being traded to Big Hit Entertainment. She didnt have to do anything differently, just go to different buildings.
The next few years seemed to fly by for Hyo Seon. Before she could blink she was graduating from high school and she was coming up on her nineteenth birthday. For the first time in her life she was thinking she made the wrong choice. She grew up without her parents and she hardly knew them now. The summer after she turned twenty one she made plans to move over with her parents back in Africa. They made plans for her to move there that winter.
Hyo Seon continued training while she planned her move but she never made it to her move. A month before she was going to move Big Hit told her that she was going to be one of the members in their new girl group. She called her parents and simply told them that she couldnt come any more.
