► Not too thin, not too thick. Being normally slim plus an abundance of baby fats and quite muscle on her rear and on her firm legs, Aegi's height of 169 cm doesn't really make her look like a walking stick. Having a tall yet slim stature makes her weight range between 41 to 47 kg. Even many people advised to have a surgery, Aegi strongly refused for she loved her monolided, cat-like eyes and her (a little bit squishy) chubby cheeks. She isn't the whitest, yet her skin is the most healtier looking (thank you 8 hours of sleep) making her small, aqualine nose, and rosy lips defined for a natural look. She was always scolded for not combing her wavy hair causing her to tie it up high, making her blank face too intimidating and scary. Even though her deep black eyes shouts innocence and numerous hiiden emotions when being looked deeply into, she always looks serious, and her stare looks like she'll either eat you alive, you being murdered on her brain, you being judged so intensely even though she's only out of the trance. She's always in her stoic (or sometimes timid smile) mode but once her not-so-rare eyesmiles emerges, it can melt a heart, much more her laughter's effect that can heal everyone's soul.

 

► Comfortable. That's what she have in mind whenever she's dressing up. Without her coordinator unnie, she'll always wear large shirts, sweaters, jogging pants-- any not so girly clothes that will not expose her smooth legs or  even 35% of her skin. Neutral, white, black, or any dark colors, she doesn't have an eye for striking neon yet if someone dresses her up with it, she'll just endure it (as long as her 65-45% of her skin is covered). A little boyish and street-like, she's not having a fashion show/important event to flaunt her body anyway, so why bother make effort with it?

► Thoughts are faster than words, yet Aegi's mouth is in sync with her brain. Years ago, she speaks very bluntly, not minding if it wounded someone's heart as long as she has expressed her thoughts. But now, she still speks very bluntly, but makes sure the other woudn'tbe offended that much. She being brutally honest had made her quite a troublemaker, yet she's still adored for speaking honestly. She still can lie (she's best on being deceiving and manipulating others), but the only time she coudn't was whenever her body resist it, and it only occurs whenever her father, or whomever she has been attached lately is with her. Her sassy and teasing attittude makes everyone snicker due to her playfulness (and she'll only tease you when she's fond or close with you), and having that brain and mouth means either providing cure or toxic to someone. And her very much opinionated brain doesn't give a to fight back and double the diss she received.

► Two way mirror. It's really hard to decipher someone whose brain is the same as Aegi. She's really unpredictable, and her choice of emotions her face was showing leads everyone to misjudge her soft personality. She was once a pure, transparent child. Yet, seeing her father suffering and being played by everyone, she builds up a facade, mastering the art of be-intimidated-you-peasant aura. Still, if someone tried to look at the other side of the mirror, a fragile bear that needs to be taken of will be visible. And it was the people around her that could only notice her weaknesses, if only they took time on knowing her rather than judging her.

► Nevermind. It was her motto, making sure she was not affected by other's opinion. Even she was called thick-faced, lazy, trouble child, she grew accustomed to it, thinking that she's still the one controling her life and will never allow anyone restrain her. Also, HYYH's intro, Nevermind, really depicted her life and her struggles. Many thought it was about Yoongi's life but no, it was also based on her experiences as she struggles to make her family rise again from those people eyeing her as her family's bad luck.

►Perfect. She wants everything to be perfectly fine and smooth, which leads her to procrastinate and wait for time her brain works. Slowly but surely she says, but when the due time is near (like a project to be passed tomorrow or a new composition to be evaluated later on), her mind magically works producing a masterpiece. She often brags that cramming is what she's best, yet when she's not contented the way things go, she'll stop and sleep, hoping her motivation to come by as soon as she wakes up.

►She's not what everyone thinks. They think she's lazy because she sleeps almost every hour (or everytime there's a chance). But what they didn't know is that she suffers from insomnia in which she didn't seek medical attention anymore because she enjoys training and working by night, which causes her to be lethargic by morning. And she doesn't makes effort if not needed, saying that what she hates the most is tiring her body for useless activties. Also, her serious/blank facade is just an act to intimidate others because she knows she's not very good at approaching and entertaining other people and also for others to not look down on her, and the fact that she knows she can hurt anyone because of her sharp toungue, she chooses to keep quiet to avoid further problem. But once she's attached to the person, she'll be really touchy (hugging arms, hugging the wist, hugging the neck, hugging galore) and her hidden aegyo can be seen if her authoritative powers isn't working anymore.

► Wise and cunning. She's proud of learning the ways of being being a good conman-woman-whatever, stating that not once in her life she was robbed, tricked or scammed (she's not saying that she has robbed someone, however she learned that adding some "exagerated additional facts" while doing some sales talk won't hurt, right?) and her skill comes in handy when her friends are being in trouble. And being wise, her reasoning is really good that she can get out or anyone of the trouble like an educated lawyer proving her point with evidences. Because of this, she became the representative of the trainees if they have some points they want to say to the PD or to their trainers. When it comes to games, there's always two result, 1) She'll win 2)She'll not win, but will never lose. Why? Because of her amazing cheating tactics and she can slip out of the punishment and will snicker while watching the others suffer.

► Head but not a leader. Everyone (even she) thought she'll be the leader, mainly because of her age and her training period. But Bang PDnim knows she can't handle overwhelming stress, and she's a little bit emotional and panicky when times like some emergency happened. He sees she can order around and others will submit to her authority, yet he knows she'll not be able to lead the group well that she'll only be a good moderator. And that fact (and because of her stubborness and poor anger management) lead to a discussion, making her on the edge of being chosen in the line-up due to her messed-up attitude.

► Crazy. Scandals are at the number one spot that an idol or a trainee should avoid. But Aegi? She loved having those and fooling other people with it. Her scandals about she and Yoongi dating has been around since trainee era, and she enjoys watching some trainees who where an avid fan of Yoongi (she still can't balieve that the grumpy boy is famouse with girls, but since Yoongi doesn't want those attention, she did him a favor) grow jealous with her. Once a news site (ahem dispatch) rumored she dating Jimin even though they just went home to busan together to visit their families. And when it was revealed, the fans were surprised and just laughed it out, knowing Aegi isn't interested on any men that isn't of the level of her father.

► Busan Yeoja. Growing up without her mother's guidance, she grew up adoring the manliness of her father, and being surrounded by only male friends, she's a little bit tomboy in mannerism that makes fans call her 'hyung' 'oppa'. and 'appa'. She believes she's even manlier than some trainees, making her Jimin (busan namja and the muscle man in bangtan) tease for a wrestling fight (which she unbelievably won, hiding the fact that she cheats and Jimin tolerates it) and boosted her ego much more. She fears noting, just don't let her watch horror movie then left her alone in the night.

 

► Having her mother die out of complication after giving birth, her family was dubbed as "Unlucky" due to the fact that her father and her mother was siblings in law (her grandparents once run a cooperative for their farm business when Choi Yeong Gi, the baby boy they've found by the front of the Choi household came to their lives). Her father was adopted while her mother is the only offsping of her grand parents. As their daughter died, instances such as their field was destroyed by a storm which causes their cooperative to fail happened simultaneously, making them sell it to have fund after the costly funeral. Her father was forced to work as a nurse on Seoul, making her grow up with her grand parents. But she didn't feel incomplete, rather, she's contended having her father see him every weekends. She's very much contented hacing her father by herside and treasure him the most since her mother was gone and he was only the parent she has. She was pampered by her grandfather for he sees his little daughter through her shile she was detained by her grandmother, also remembering her child, but too afraid to lose Aegi because she still blames herself for her child's death. Everyday she'll woke up to go to school and go back to her house– home. Her life was simple, consisting of her grandfather dancing with her when their favorite trot song was playing, her grandmother scolding her for being lazy and boyish, her father lulling her to sleep with his voice using their telephone. It was basic, but she doesn't ask for more.

 

►But life's hard and with a young age, she learned how the world workscruelly. She saw how her grandparents was scammed, making them in debt of loan sharks. She saw how the loan sharks torment her grandparent unknown by her father, pushing her to work after school. She learned to sell things, exagerate her product's effects a little to make a living, give flyers with falsehopes, helping her teachers (of course with payment), tutor others, joining some contests with money as prize. For a lazy, lethagic child that always sleeps at detention room for being caught sleeping and eating on a subject, she's quite diligent.

 

One time she competes on a contest and comes home late yet smiling for bagging the 1st  place prize in singing when a running person come out of their small house. She was too shocked to absorb the fact that they were robbed, but her grandparents doesn't look like they're minding it. They were even relieved that Aegi wasn't there at the moment (because they knew their grand daughter –who's infamous of beating up some boys that bullies another children– very well). And due to that fact she learned that she's the only capable one of protecting the house, her insomnia starts to trigger because of the anxiety and need to protect her loved ones. By 12 years old, she swore that she'll work more harder to prove to anyone that they'll rise once more, that they'll not be robbed nor tormented by the loan sharks with their highly secured house in Seoul that she'll build up in the future.

 

► It was when she was visiting her father to the hospital in Seoul to let him sign her A+ marked card when she happends to stumble on some karaoke shop (which gives prize to those who can beat the record of 98). Using her skills to pretend as a worthy buyer, she tried it for free, not knowing a reprsentative from bighit, a newly established company, was hearing her not-so-trained but pure vocals. She then ask her to sing for her in condition that she'll be paid if ever she passed makes her agree in an instant. And there, as she learned that she passed, she can already feel that she's near to her dreams.

 

► Her father strongly disagrees, saying that she's too young to go on a training that's not even guaranteed. Also, he said that he'll have to stay to Canada in order for their family to pay the debt that's been accumulating due to his lack of income. She cries, very, very hard, thinking it will make her father stop from moving to a very far coutry and hoping that it'll remove the shock and the pain her heart was bearing all along. But learning that her crying will never stop her father from leaving stabs her to the harsh reality that emotions aren't that powerful, that emotions can only be a nuisance and complicates her severely complicated life. That in reality, it was only the person that can control his or her life that no one can control it if the person resists. After her father's departure, she went back to the company to start her training.

They are close– he's the only parent Aegi has. She doesn't feel incomplete, though. Having her Eommappa by her side even he only comes home every weekends is perfect for her. They were really close, but as he went to Canada and Aegi started her illegal training, they drift away, making Aegi a little bit secretive over her life as they talk to each other every between 9 to 12 in the evening through their phones. twice a week. Her father only comes home once because of their medical mission issued by the hospital because a trip to Korea was expensive. Yet, as her father tells her that his savings were enough for him to come home, she makes it a fuel to quicken her debut to make her father come home with her daughter be able to make him feel proud.

Whenever she's alone, Aegi will speak to the locket with her mother's picture, chatting to her like she's going to answer. It feels weird (that's why she does it alone), but she feels like her mother is watching from the heavens and reaches her to calm her troubling heart.

       ► Grand Parents | Choi Beom Seok & Lee Myung hee | 69 & 67 | 8/10

She fears her grandmother while she adores her grandfather. She was spoiled by his grandpa actually, and her grandmother's blunt words were the ones that keep her in the reality that they were not well-off and everyone needs to work to continue living. She's thankful that she learns everything on the early age, but she's more thankful to her grandpa who teaches him the secret to be able to sleep in less that a minute. It was her grand ma who always drag her to karaoke stations and her grandpa to dance with her everytime the radio is playing making her interest in music started.

        ► Friend | Kim Namjoon / Rapmon | 22 | 9/10

If only he's a girl, she might be her best friend for life. It is Namjoon who approached her, both of them being 15 years old, too young for this harsh world. She mistaken Namjoon as someone older than her, then as they realize their quite same aged(she's even older by months), honorifis were dropped down and they talk about everything, more on music. He was the person she had open up, and Namjoon's open and rational mind made her at ease and comfortable to speak her problems and rants. She was amazed by his rapping skills, which later on he becomes her mentor on things about music, rapping, and learning english.

        ► Friend | Min Yoongi / Suga | 23 | 9/10

Having the same attitude and principles, they become close, even mistaken dating. Every night, when her insomnia strikes, she'll always go to the music room and watch Yoongi make his music quietly. Havng mutual understanding, they can commnucate even without having three worded sentence. She sometimes get learnings and lectures, making her being introduced to the world of composing. The three, being ne of the most earliest trainees, always go outside to eat, but sometimes Aegi uses her skills to force beg Yoongi to eat outside in the middle of late night, thus rumors circulates the two dating which she laughs and pokes joke with the two. Yet, she sees Yoongi as her father in Bighit (not only because of the little similaroties with their names) but because Yoongi's the only one who can scold her.

► Friends | BTS Trainees (Supreme Boi, Kidoh, current Bangtan) | 3-6/10

       They're not that real close, but since she witnessed BTS changing line-up, it is normal to        be friends with those boys. For composing she goes to Dinghyuk(Supreme Boi) for help,        and sometimes for training she asks BTS dancer line for help. Jimin and Jungkook, both        from Busan like her, makes her feel home (because of their Satooris). She looks for the          younger ones, being a noona, and she's their trainee sunbaenim, afterall.

 

        ► Friend | Hwang Eun Bi / SinB | 18 | 8/10

They're really not those rivals that go intense with each other. Truthfully, she sees Eunbi as her little sister, yet due to the unsureness of debuting, she tries hard to beat or even match the dancing machine. Yet, the moment she knows she'll be able to beat the girl, Eunbi eventually left and go to Source Music where she becames part of the renowned group GFriend with Jung Eunbi, or Eunha, Making her think that tiring herself due to a childish competition is worthless.

        ► Friend | Jung Eun Bi / Eunha | 19 | 8/10

Her another dongsaeng and once a dormmate. She misses her chubby cheeks that she's always pinching. The trio are quite close (due to the fact that the two are both beagels and annoys her by making her smile or laugh) but of course, competition and thirst to debut also made her think that Eunha will be the one she needs to battle for the lead vocal position, yet as the two transfered to other comany and debuts, she really feels frustrated and depressed.

For her, she's her rival. The moment she saw her, her insides quickly tells her that she's the one she's been waiting to go all out with. But then, her rapping skills made her inferior for the first time, and the moment it's been announced that the leader would be her, Aegi just coudn't take it and spits harshful words that every trainees also became victim. And it was also the first the CEO told her her weaknesses and every flaws she stubbornly denies, making her being scolded but her trainors and her best friends, Namjoon and Yoongi, for her abrasive attitude. And after the time Jin talked to her, she realises everything she has done and begs forgiveness to her friends, most especially to her members. And being the mature one, the leader forgives her wholeheartedly and Aegi vowed to stay by herside as (The Mature One) will be the one whom Aegi tell her problems. Since then, they became BFF's for life.

For seven 7 years, her schedule was the same ㅡ Wake up, eat, train, eat, train, eat, practice, sleep. But because of her insomnia, she sleeps on the day time, almost every hour or every break they have. Everyone grumbles how hard Aegi is to wake up, but if you cause a noise, be ready to face your death.

First year, being a trainee is actually hard and new to her. She's still on a school to finish her high school but the trainings after a tiring school and insomnia causes her to sleep on school hours. Be it recess, lunch or vacant or in a boring subject. Also add the fact that she’s not good at making friends ㅡ if she didn’t met the two Eunhas, her reputation as "Medusa from Busan" might not be cleared. She’s thankful about her cramming skills because she can maintain her high grades without studying that much. And because she sleeps at supposed eating time, she eats her food anytime she feels hungry, laughing at Hwang Eunha and Jung Eunha for their ridiculous diets. Walking to school, listening to lectures, cleaning the classroom (which she always flee) and going back to bight, she manage to make herself still breathing.

The moment Kim Namjoon comes in and some of other trainings, he learned that the company is hip-hop focused. She’s proud to say that she watched how Bangtan Sonyeondan was made over the course of 5 years. Namjoon and Yoongi was the first friends she’s made, then as the company kept on accepting boy applicants, she thought that the company might want to debut a boy group first. As they train together, she learned many thingsㅡmost importantly, being a singer isn’t as easy as it seems. Breathing, voice lessons and even dancing (where both namjoon and she whines) were taught to her, and rap inevitably. As Bang pd saw that she’s fast at grasping things, he thought to make her a protégé, a solo artist, making her not able to debut in GLAM as a member.

She saw how the supposed BTS lineup changes, trainee coming in and out, her losing her only female friends and hearing that they’ll debut sooner, it would be a lie if Aegi didn’t think about quitting for she isn’t a patient person. But what makes her still stay is because of the dream to make her father proud, to give them a better life, Bang pd’s promise to achieve her dream, and her newly discovered passion in composing as what she learned from Yoongi, Namjoon and Supreme Boi. She even thought that she can be just a composer, but Supreme Boi revealed that she can still be a composer even she’s an idol. And as girl trainees seem to increase, and Bang’s announcement to debut a girl group right after BTS, she made promise with Namjoon and Yoongi to collab once on the same stage.

But then, due to the fact she’s trained for longest and her close ties to the ceo, her lazy attitude seems to worsen. She acted cocky, too much authoritative against other trainees. Having the taught she’ll be the leader like Namjoon being the longest trainee, she started to boss around and stubborn to train more. Her co-trainees and soon to be members are concerned about her sudden change of attitude. It was 2013 when BTS debuts and she taught she’s nearing to her debut. It was then the start of her seemingly antagonistic attitude.

That’s when Bang pd notices everything as she calls Aegi to tell her about  the birth of GODDESS, Bighit’s first girl group, comprising of 7 members with (the mature one) as the leader. Yes, she expected that she's going to be the member, but what she's shocked about was (THE MATURE ONE) being the leader. Am I not enough? Due to frustration and being shook, her snarky attitude plays, making a scene where she dissed the GODEESS members, especially the newly chosen leader. She couldn’t believe that after years of training, she’ll only be stuck as a member? Of 7 membered group? Like, how she’ll shine? She walked out but was stopped by a seemingly shocked leader who was stopping her anger. There, she made bad remarks and continues her insult when she was stopped by Bang PD’s, her second father, slap. There in front of other people she was scolded and she never felt humiliated in life. After the scolding of the very disappointed CEO, she ran to her usual place she goes alone, by the rooftop. She’s still fuming with anger, but as Namjoon and Yoongi went to her, she received another scolding and there when she realize she was wrong. She saw how disappointed everyone was, and she knew it was too late to regret everything.

She heard the door opened and being locked, reading herself for another scolding session. Yes, she was scolded—because she stop crying. It was Seokjin, her not-so-obvious crush whom she forgotten yet there beside her, brought foods and started talking like it’s common to the both of them. She over the course of hours, opened up, cried, and regret everything, Jin only listening at the background. Acting sobbing, Jin gave her many lessons in life and made her mind clear of what things she must do. She went home to Busan after, spending one whole week with her grandparents while having Jin’s words “Live life with no worries.”

After a week of resting, she came back, first meeting up with Namjoon that’s been worried sick about her sudden disappearance, second to Yoongi who’s been worried but Yoongi being Yoongi, acted like he didn’t care. Aegi apologize to the both of them and fixed the issue easily. Next to the CEO, whom she accepted every words wholeheartedly and swear that she’ll changed for the better. Lastly, to their practice room, which she first met their leader and apologize to her. It was her first time showing her emotions to a girl, not minding how vulnerable she looks. They soon reconcile and being the leader, she help her to face the other members, knowing that some of them was really hurt. True to her words, they were hurted, but when they saw Aegi’s transparent state, they learned to accept her again, even it was awkward, Aegi tried her best to be close to them.

And she didn’t even realize that the girls she treated as rivals were now hew second family she can’t live without.

► NYX bullying GODDESS members | Quite True | Haters and some antis always points her bad attitude towards other members. The GODDESS aren't secretive of their past but the members always makes sure to omit parts that can cause major uproar and also to clarify some false accusations.

► Relationship scandals | False | It was never proven that she dated any trainees but her clossness towards other male trainees makes fans and antis to fantasize and belive some stories. It ranges from dating several trainees to her realtioship towards Bang PD (in which she laughs out, thinking that she was to boyish to be his 'uncle''s type)

► NYX, a timer trainee | False | Dating Jimin and Yoongi at the same time with some photos taken makes her tease the two saying, "You're both short to be my type" and the way she and Jimin posed for Dispatch's spies makes the people grow tired of every dating rumor she's in

► NYX surgeries | False | Her childhood pictures aren't that good, plus she's not that very fashionable and beauty vain during his trainee days so it's a big transformation when she debuts for her true beauty was reavealed. However, not everyone can appreaciate it.

► Kim Seokjin of BTS dating NYX from Rookie group GODDESS | False | Oh my goodness how she really wished it. Apparantly she's too dense to feel Jin's flirting yet the fans have sharp eyes for that.

final words / hi hi hello hello omg. ►One time she fell asleep on practice room. Seokjin, who left his sweater, found it being placed on top of a sleeping Aegi. She's murmuring something and Jin finds it cute, yet as Aegi struggles to get a comfortable position Jin hurriedly wake her to sleep on the couch instead. Seeing the girl wouldn't wake up, he decides to carry her. However, thinking everything is part of her dreams, Aegi open her eyes to find a startled but cute Kim Seokjin. Jin doesn't know what to do however Aegi, still dreaming, smiles at him very softly and hugged his arm, finding Jin's body a warm place to settle and continue her sleep. Jin's stiff body relaxes as murmus from Aegi was heard, later on deciding to let the poor girl sleep on his arms. Later that day Aegi find herself on a soft couch, biting her lips to stop herself from squeeling screaming as she remembered a flustered Kim Seokjin in the act of carrying her to the couch.

Jin told her that everyone commits mistakes, that she should never punish herself and forgive herself because it's hard to live with a grudge burried deep in the heart. Because of that heart to heart talk, that is the first time she look at his eyes without flinching. Later that week, she decided to apologize to all the trainees she have said a bad word, yet to her surprise she was jailed by everyone's hug, knowing that Aegi loves hugs and there her sunshine smile makes a debut.
